Steve came out today and was awesome. Fixed the door in no time flat, and even gave me a military discount. Very professional. You know when someone makes it look easy, they really know what they are doing. Thank you Steve!!
We ordered a new garage door from this company, the customer service is awful…. The lack of communication is sad, we have to call weekly for updates, and each week they say the same thing….. we will call you next week. Sadly this happened only once in the last 2 months.. we will NEVER deal with them again…. Buyers beware
Overhead Doors Company is outstanding in customer service and professionalism. The technician Xavier Rodriguez was prompt and knowledgeable in replacing my garage door. When the installation was completed, it looked OVER THE TOP!!!!.

I have never been so degraded and at my own home too!!!I called to complain and Joe the manager doubted the validity of my complaint even after I told him I got the number off of the truck. When I told him that I was only calling to report the complaint he could believe it or choose to ignore it but I was going to write a reviewHis attitude completely changed; he apologized and said he would speak to the servicemen that berated the homes in the 200k community saying The doors buckled bc we didnt use their company All said with a egotistical snide smirk on his face! No thank you and I will tell my neighborhood community members not use them either. Buyer beware!!!!!!
So far, they havent arrived. I asked for a morning appointment and was told I could have one in 6 days. I agreed. I called them at 9:30 this morning to find my appointment rescheduled for 3:00. I called them just before 3 to find that now my appointment is 4/4:30. A professional service keeps promises and if there is a problem calls the customer. I am hoping the work is done well -- certainly better than the customer service department does theirs.On edit: The tech was polite and did a fast and thorough job. It works! That counts for a lot. Hopefully the service reps will learn a little about customer service.Had to call them out 2 weeks later due to a noisy door -- they were on time and pleasant/professional. Thanks! Issue fixed in moments.
All the parts you need. Would be 5 stars if the staff was friendlier. Pretty gruff in fact and I was the only customer in the store. Not sure if they would (or even could) be better if I was spending more but even big buyers will eventually just need a new remote. They should get the same level of service.
Update: I have a garage door that was damaged while closing. In March, a technician from OGD came to my house and beat on the garage door with hand tools, telling me that it was in serviceable condition. $300.I finally bought a replacement trolley and hooked it up only for it to not function properly. The technician visits again and tells me “You need a new garage door which will be $1500.” $335 dollars later, I’m still at square one. Wish they’d have just told me I need a new door in the first place.
Great customer service! Owner Danny fixed my door for a minimal charge and provided advice for the future repair and/or replacement. I will definitely be calling him. I highly recommend the company.
Poor quality product, service is good but expensive, absolutely no customer service company wide. We had them install a new unit and 2.5 years later they had to replace it. Then each year we have had them come out for some reason or another. Do your homework and find a better company to use.
They installed a garage door opener in my garage which up to that point had had no problems. 2 months later, noticed my garage door would get stuck on its way to closing. I called overhead, and they argued with me for 2 days that they couldnt get anyone out there and suggested I call home depot. Finally, they send someone out to try to fix it, only to tell me whole garage door had to be replaced due to top 2 sections being damaged somehow. Over the next 3 weeks, overhead refused to take more action even though I would call every day. Fianlly, they sent their insurance person out to my house only to determine that it was my fault and claimed I opend the door while manual lock was engaged. That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. And now Im stuck with a broken garage door that was 100 percent fine until overhead installed the garage door opener. And now Im looking at a 500 plus bill to fix the dang thing. Oh, and I thought it was funny that the manager was always out when I would call only to have him answer when I used a different name. This company had decent reviews, but they really let me down. Be careful with these guys.
They never showed up. They were supposed to show up at 4PM. I called at 5PM and was promised a call when he was close. 5 hours later still no call. I understand service calls take longer than planned. But dont promise 24 hours service and then leave me hanging. My time has value too. If you cant see me today, tell me that and I make arrangments. Very disappointed.
I easily scheduled an appointment the day before. The technician arrived on time the next day as requested. He quickly identified the problem with my garage door and fixed it in no time. He also inspected and completed a maintenance check.
