Staff forced us to wear masks for admittance, un-vaccinated or not. I went to other numerous stores where that was not done. The Governor issued an order that they are not supposed to do this. All the other stores are following the rules, but somehow I guess they feel like they dont have to do it. Plus the staff was really incompetent. Just referred me to a computer to place an order instead of taking it. Had no technical knowledge of their own hardware

Went in with a preset appointment. It was quick as I had made up my mind on what I wanted, but was open to suggestions. They had the computer that I wanted in stock, much better than waiting for it to be delivered.

Apple support is usually tedious and confusing but my recent experience with apple support chat with Manisha Chaubey was very helpful. I had worried of an alert saying an airpod was tracking me and she looked into it and explained very well what was happening. Ik customer support isn’t treated very well on both the customer and business end but she still was very respectful and patient with my questions, definitely the best apple customer service I’ve received yet.

Had an appointment. I had to wait.Ultimately phone was replaced by friendly and professional man ... or should I say person?Three security officials. There primary purpose? To ensure you wear a specific type of mask and ensuring that you comply to Apples so called science.Not sure where it all will end but certainly not a good sign of our future and freedom.

This store left my college student stranded with no help. She took her iPhone in and they could not fix it so the took her phone including the SIM card and shipped a nee phone. This phone had no SIM card. After a LONG time on Apple tech support they said to contact this store to see if they still had the old phone. There is NO way to contact this store the automated system continues to send to text h support. Finally I told her to go to the AT&T store and they helped her in minutes. So after being away at college for. Week with no phone she is finally set. Thank god for at&t

Be prepared to wait long periods of time. They are most likely short-staffed as there are not enough specialists there to meet the demand in the area. Walk ins are generally not ideal - try and reserve a time early so that youre prioritized over other technical issues that may come throughout the day!

I would have given it one star, but the technicians that took care of us at the end made us feel valued and had great customer service skills. She even greeted us with enthusiasm when we first arrived and thanked us as we left. The employees at the Genius Bar could have learned a thing or two. We are so used to an organized and professional Apple store that we were put off by how we were treated. When we first came in, no one greeted us and then when we went to the Genuis bar we stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge us. A lady then proceeded to skip ahead of us and jumped into the bar and forced their attention. When we finally got someone to help us, we felt rushed and they treated us like an inconvenience. Go to North Star Apple Store instead. Their customer traffic is higher, but they always provide great Customer Service.

They made my pregnant wife wait outside for over 30 minutes even though she had an appointment. They even let someone in who had an appointment scheduled after hers, and yes, she arrived on time. She went to exchange the Solo Loop watch band for Apple Watch. We made sure to contact Apple support online, who set up the appointment for us, knowing all the details: that all we wanted was to exchange the band for a size smaller. Instead, they said it wasnt the right type of appointment, and said they wont exchange it either.By all accounts this should be a quick in and out trip with no drama. Unfortunately the employees here dont know what theyre doing.If I like a manufacturers products I will stick with them. If I dont like their support, especially if they treat my wife (who was nine months pregnant when this happened) like this then I wont be buying any more products. Customer service is king over anything. Treat your customers like garbage and dont expect them to return. Apple Store employees apparently treat people like garbage.I am typing this to vent my anger and prevent myself from going over there myself and ditching work.The employees here could learn to use a little common sense and humanity. Damn your protocols and procedures, think and act like a decent human being, not an automaton. Yes, a very pregnant woman (and other exceptions) should enjoy some niceties and privilege in events like this some of us dont always deserve.

Went right before Christmas. Not too crowded. Lively music. Everyone wore masks. Was decent about social distancing. Sales were there but popular sizes gone. Beautiful setting to shop or grab a bite by the waterfalls. Gotta luv southern Texas in December.

I recently switched over to Apple after years of being with Android (specifically, Samsung). What can I say - go big or go home, eh? Apple AirPod Pro 2, Apple 6th Generation with the Aluminum Milanese Loop, Apple 12 iPhone Pro Max 512GB 5G, and 12 Pro Leather Case with MagSafe (Saddle Brown and Black).*** Pre-ordered the iPhone which arrived just on time to use The Apple App Store to purchase my second phone case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The Wallet App had my appointment scheduled for pickup with a scan barcode to show the staff which made my visit extremely convenient to drop in and right out within a matter of minutes!The six feet precaution was definitely enforced and masks were required! I managed to gear up with gloves also considering Id be touching the product. Stunned by the phone cases! Very sophisticated case, beautiful design, and stylish!This Apple Store location is most convenient to and for me. Staff is great and I am appreciative for the COVID-19 precautions that are set into place at all hours of service.

The place was nearly empty inside yesterday, Saturday May 9th. I came from out of state and decided to pick up a new iPhone. The store employee outside wouldnt let me in because I had no appointment and insisted I book an appointment for the following day. I dont mind booking an appointment but its ridiculous when youre the only one in line and they still wouldnt let you in eventhough the shop was nearly empty inside.

Apple has become too exclusive now? They have armed police guarding the doors. Came today at 5:45 and they don’t close until 6:00. They had a cop at the door not letting anyone else in. Said you must have a pickup or appointment only. I guess Apple has enough money and mine isn’t needed. Too bad the Microsoft store closed across from them. I think I will go buy a Surface instead of an iPad now. Selling my AAPL stock when the markets open on Tuesday.I know none of this will have any impact on Apple but it’s all I can do. They lost a life long custom today.

Pretentious to a fault. I came ready to buy an iphone cash with no plan, which you would think I could do in 5 minutes. But they said I needed an appointment and the earliest they could get me in was 2 hours later. Needless to say I didn’t have time for that and did not buy the phone. Do they not want to make money??

Year and a half ago took in my iPhone 7 because a forced update caused it to malfunction and essentially break. I couldn’t connect to cellular and wifi. When I bring it to the apple employee after looking at it for a bit he tells me that I should leave it there and that it would take no more than a week. So I come back in a week and he says that they decided to give me a new iPhone 7. I was excited and rushed home thinking Apple finally did something good. Month later and after messing around with the “new” phone I found out it’s the same one I’ve been using just “refurbished” and factory reset I guess. Either that or it’s just a used phone. Had lots of tiny scratches all over screen when held under light. Also the battery health was below 80% so this was for sure a dingy phone. Shame on you Apple store and Apple.Please consider buying anything else but an Apple product. They are overpriced paperweight products.

If you want to have a decent experience DO NOT choose this apple store. I recommend the one located in North start mall. I had gone to La Cabrera since I was going to be on that part of town. The employees at La Cabrera treated me as though I was a child. Never have I felt more ashamed to just go and pick up my purchased items. Always going to North Star location now, the staff are kind and treat people with respect.

I recommend scheduling an appointment in advance during COVID times right now. They’re only allowing reservations for the Genius Bar and online pick ups.Very organized and stuck pretty true to my reservation time. So incredibly helpful and everyone was kind.

We are currently in-store, and had an appointment to be helped at 2:45pm. Its currently 3:30pm, more than 40 minutes later, and I still havent been helped. I dont understand what the point of having an appointment is when people who have just walked in have been helped beforehand. Its just an absolute mess in here. Purchased 2 iPhone12 pro max and the camera is so bad. I can’t take any pictures up close because it is very blurry. I regret buying the phones cash because they look very similar to iPhone 11 Pro Max, I can’t believe I made this purchase and wish I could’ve turned back time...seriously!

It’s a nice, wide-open store. I went there to do my yearly phone upgrade. Id say that I’m a challenging customer, but if things roll out nicely, I appreciate that, and I will give praise according. FYI: I’m also heavily techie, owning an IT Company, with a twist...I also went to law school. Right, that said, nice store...however...the continued C19 restrictions meant that the store wouldn’t allow me to peruse around. Of course, not Apples fault in a C19 sense. I get that. However, I could see people in the store. I wasn’t just curious, having spent a good deal of money on these phones and watches. The plan was to providing me the phone upgrade ‘at the ropes.’ Same sort of ropes you find in front of a nightclub. A place where I’ve been spoiled having a lot of ‘love at the door,’ never having to wait in line. I was able to wiggle into the store by insisting that I needed to look over the phone case options, located at the far back right of the store. OK, got past the ropes but was followed with an employee stuck to me as I moved around. I found a little much. I was properly masked, I’ve even had my complete set of C19 vaccine shots, but that besides the point. If actually “buying,” who better to let into the store to look around. Obvious opportunity for a cross sell. Cases were, “eehh,” nothing impressive. I’m comparing them to the many options found online. Middle of the store, were the Apple Watches. I have the new 6 version. Like the phone cases, this display also struck me as a little light on features. Clean, light colored, wood case was nice but, not much going on. Sort of like a clean resume, “lots of white,” not so much detail. Beyond the store, I had an upgrade question; migrating my Microsoft Authenticator App. There were no techs available to discuss my concern that if I didn’t perform all the steps to move to a new phone properly, I might find myself locked out of my own MS apps. On a positive, the man at the rope pushed a button on his iPad, and I received a call to my phone in 2 seconds flat. The downside is the tech wasn’t able to help. Ref me to Microsoft instead. Final thought, the new iPhone 12 is “smaller” than the 11, unless you upgrade to the Pro version. Squarer sides are cool, but honestly, I like bigger. Heard the size decrease was because users wanted to be able to “slip the phone” into their shirt pockets. Not a thing for me, my shirt pocket would be pressed flat from the cleaners either way. Overall, a very nice, clean, roomie store, but lacked accessories. With the affect of C19 on shopping habits being made mostly online, people have gotten used to seeing Lots of options for Accessories, at rock bottom prices. I guess we’ll again get out to shop in stores, but a store rethink may be in order.

Sometimes requires a reservation for questions/support/Genius Bar, or you can go in to pickup online orders, but when its super busy they dont allow walk-ins. Lots of COVID measures and security measures; it felt like I was at some sort of inauguration. Definitely dont show up just to peruse or mess around on iPads to kill time. Theres always a long line and security/staff letting people in one at a time, so only go if you really need to. They seemed good about everyone wearing masks and wiping things down throughout my time there.

Due to COVID, you need an appointment to enter the store. They made the process easy and when you arrive they do a temp scan and allow you to queue for a tech. There was no wait time.Very few people were in the store. A few families were present but many visitors were party of 1.I was lead to a table where my tech maintained her distance by keep the display table between us. The tech was very helpful. I wasnt rushed but the tech was efficient with moving things forward - got in, got help, got out.

There was a mix up with my reservation and they clearly had plenty help available for my simple request, however they did not care. My Iphone 7 started getting Failure to Activate Cellular Data Update needed, Called Apple Support, and was told that the problem was covered by an Apple Support Program, and would be repaired/replaced at no cost to me, I was given a case number and scheduled to take iphone to La Cantera store for service.I took iphone to the La Cantera store and at check in was told that the iphone was out of warranty and there would be a service charge for repair.I returned home and called Apple Support to complain. I spoke to a senior Apple Care specialist. He checked case number and said that the problem was absolutely covered by a current Apple Service program and did not know why the Apple La Canter store told me that the iphone was out of warranty. I was sent a box for mail in service to Apple.Beware of misinformation/incompetence when you deal with this store.

Had an awesome experience here! I had an issue with my phone’s battery and I was able to get everything fixed, and didn’t have to wait long to get serviced. I had the opposite experience at North Star Mall.The technician was able to get everything switched to my new phone in just a matter of minutes which was amazing to me. All my apps and setting were the exact same way so I didn’t have to remember which apps I had downloaded.Everything was great from the greeters, to the technician, to the management! Would definitely recommend this store, and they will be getting more of my business in the future!

One of the worst customer service experiences! You need to know their (Apple) business model. In a nutshell....buy the latest and greatest today and Apple will forget you tomorrow. I have a MacBook Pro 15” that I purchased for $3500 in 2011. I know it’s an old computer but you would think Apple would support their older products (I’m talking about software issues). That’s not case (as you saw with the recent iPhone lawsuit) Apple will forget you. I could have bought a new PC laptop every year for the cost of this MacBook Pro that won’t allow me to upgrade to their advertised free operating system. I scheduled an appointment and went to the store for my appointment. After waiting 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, the Apple Genius Bar technician stated he could do nothing for me due to the age of the MacBook Pro. My specs are i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, 1TB hard drive. Why could you not upgrade. To the people (not gaming) who are undecided about a new computer to use MS word or database programs don’t buy Apple. Go with the PC. The PC still supports computers way older than this. Unfortunately this will be the last MacBook that I buy. By the way I own numerous iPads, IPhones and iMacs.

My wife had an appointment to pick up an IPhone from this Apple store who had our baby with her. My wife was early (30 minutes) asked if it was ok if she could pick up the phone early, which they denied and asked her to come back at the scheduled time. The place wasn’t busy and there were apparently workers “hanging out” not necessarily attending to customers. The security guard even asked my wife to ‘wait’ elsewhere. My wife comes back at the scheduled time, and receives her IPhone hoping to purchase a case/screen protector, etc. and was asked to schedule another appt at a future date/time to purchase separately. I understand the world we live in with the challenges of COVID and what not, but wow, terribly poor service for a woman with a small child. Very disappointed with the lack of awareness of the situation from this Apple store’s employees.

Im more of a Microsoft/Android guy, but this store is amazing! The layout and the devices just ooze itchiness. I love the Macbook air, it is sexy and sleek. Loved it so much got my wife one. They have a supervisor name Mark that is rude, I called in advance to purchase 2 items, I was not informed that I needed to make an appointment, I ask to check inventory and Mark answer I could wait outside in the cold to see if an appointment was cancelled. I am a 74 years old and handicap. Never Apple again!

They had no directions as to what to do when picking up repairs and then blame me for going straight to Genius Bar. Could’ve simply asked if I’ve been helped. I visited this Apple store today because my screen cracked front and back while on vacation. I can honestly say I had an excellent visit. I was a walk in and had no appointment, I walked right in spoke to gentleman didn’t catch his name, he set me up as a walk in told me it would be about 30 min. 30 min went buy and I was already being seen, Neal helped me out from start to finish smooth process. I walked out with a brand new iPhone XS Max (thank you apple care) will definitely be back to this Apple store in the future
