We went today for the first time and it was so much fun. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and there was no time limit. $25 for the first shooter with no membership plus 12.50 for each additional shooter. You can bring your own guns and ammo but also rent them and get ammo there. We will definitely be going back and getting f a membership there

I have been a member at Nardis for approx 5 years and have seen numerous staff members come and go...it is what it is. I shoot about 4x a month and its about time that I mentioned 2 of the exceptional staff members that I come into contact with often. When I shoot on Monday I see Bill, and when I shoot on Thursday I speak with John. Both are great sources of information. The both have wonderful customer service skills, and it is a pleasure to go into Nardis and see them behind the counter. I hope they both stay at Nardis for a long time and with their skill level and experience I hope they move up the Nardis ladder of success. They both deserve it. Thanks guys!!

My family and I had a very pleasant experience. The professionalism, the guidance, the instruction, and direction as well as the hospitality were incredible. I definitely recommend this for other individuals or families due to the instructions and safety displayed by the business.

If you want to learn how to shot...THIS IS THE PLACE .The staff Jon and Billy are terrific. Both are very knowledgeable and believe NO QUESTION IS STUPID.. I happen to ask alot of questions, NEVER did I feel I was annoying them. They have helped me tremendously. I feel confident and every time I go I shoot better. I enjoy going because of the relaxed atmosphere..and that is because of Jon and Billy. Thank you Nardis for having such great people working for you .

After a year and a half of membership and numerous visits, I have nothing but positive things to say. The range is nice, the store is well stocked, FFL transfers are made easy, and membership is well worth the price. All interactions with employees have always been positive and Alyssa has been extremely helpful with multiple membership changes.

Hands-down the best, most friendly group of people I have encountered. In particular, Jon has gone above and beyond every visit my family and I have taken there. An all-around wonderful range and staff. Go check them out.

My two year interaction with Nardis Gun Club personnel has been nothing but outstanding. Without fail they have always provided an assiduously positive demeanor, expedient service and a stalwart commitment to customer service. Specifically, the personifications of Nardis I interact (interacted) with almost weekly are Andre, Pat, Jeff, Tyler, Johnny, Dennis and both hostesses (never got the names, but they always greeted me with a bright hello and a sunny smile.).

Jonathan, Billy, Dennis and all the guys at the gun range are extremely helpful. We have learned so much since we’ve been going there for the past few months and we always enjoy our time there. This place and these guys are awesome!

The facility is fantastic and is maintained in excellent condition. The welcome desk, gun shop and range staff are all excellent and very helpful. Prices are a bit steeper with regards to FFL transfer and gunsmithing fees but if you choose to become a member, 2 visits will pretty much have this membership pay for itself and with that being said, with the the higher prices comes a more premium service. I have gone to shoot here multiple times, had gunsmith work done and taken the LTC with Bruce and have had great experiences all around. This place is also a level 3 NFA dealer and can process suppressor sales. If you couldnt tell, I highly recommend this place!

Facility is beautiful, staff was extremely professional and we had a really fun two-hour date while the sitter watched our kid. We are totally going back and doing it again. 👌😎

By far one of the best places Ive been. The office was very professional and answered all my questions. Its a little more then your average range but by far worth the extra few dollars you pay. This place is nice, clean, and very convenient with checking your targets every time you shoot. Only flaw I could think of is they dont have 100 yard shooting due to it being an indoor range. But they still allow you to shoot rifles indoors up to 60ft.

My husband and I came here looking to buy,which they had a very small selection due to current things going down in the world. However we did get to use there guns and try a few pistols out and ended up really liking. The guys at all of the counters where great and very informative and nice with great helpful tips. Definitely looking forward to going back with our own stuff to shoot again.

Completed LTC course here and really was amazed by how nice everything is. Staff is professional and very safety oriented. So, I have come back several timesnto shoot with friends and now some of my children. Great environment to learn in the safety of structured indoor lanes. When they say you get what you pay for... They were right! While Nardis is a little higher in my opinion although still competitive, the customer service & more importantly Customer Care that Drew & Jerry provided was superb! I was having issues with a pistol we bought & these guys went above and beyond to fix it & assure we were pleased with our purchase. We will be back as well as have & will continue to recommend Nardis to our friends & family!

This is an update to my original review below from yesterday. I went ahead and gave it another shot this morning. The manager recognized me and acknowledge my concerns and apologized for the miscommunication and explained government policy they have to follow. I was very appreciative of their concern to make up for my first experience, and went above and beyond to take care of me and make sure I was satisfied. I did leave with what I wanted a spring field hellcat. And will be going back for a rifle I saw that was a great price. Thank you Jason and your staff for your efforts to make it right, and reason I am changing from one star to Five star review.(Was disappoint went to purchase a new gun, hours said open till 8pm. I arrived at 6:50 pm just for them to tell me they close at 7:00pm and wouldn’t have enough time and would have to come back another day. Now I worked retail and never turned away a customer because it was too close to closing, we happily accepted the customer and stayed until customer was done. So I may go back tomorrow unless I find what I am looking for at academy. So we’ll see)

My family and I have been to the Alamo Ranch Nardis location on several occasions to shoot. The range staff are friendly and helpful. Overall our experience has been great each time. I also recently made a handgun purchase at this location and was very happy with the price and the service. For the record, I have also been to the Original location and received great service there as well. I will absolutely have a family membership at Nardis at some point 😎

This is the first time my wife has shot a firearm and shes hooked. We traded a revolver for a 9mm semi-auto. All of the staff is do very knowledgeable and very polite! Beautiful establishment. Top notch equipment. Highly recommend this company. If I could give ten stars I would.

Took the intro class yesterday (8-4) and loved it. Even though I am very new, Pat made me feel very comfortable and not awkward at all. Beautiful well run facility. I will absolutely be back soon except this time I’m bringing my wife! Ty for a great experience. I highly recommend.Edit: So comfortable, my wife also took the class (private class with Pat). We are now both members, have our own handguns and go practice several times a week. We also just took and passed the LTC class. If you’re on the fence or nervous, don’t be. The staff are great, facility is top notch. Go visit for yourself.

It was my first time ever shooting. Not knowing anything about well ...ANYTHING to do with guns,they were VERY informative. Chris is the one that helped us and he seemed to be extremely knowledgeable about guns, ammo, safety... everything. He was very patient and could answer any and all questions my husband and I had. I highly recommend Nardis gun club and speak to Chris if any questions (he definitely knows his stuff)

Staff is great and very friendly. They are more than willing to help you through your purchase. Had an issue with my firearm after purchase and they corrected the issue but it took close to month and a few phone calls to get it there.

Upon check-in at gun range counter I was asked which target I would like. I requested the T1 for LTC practice,right away was asked if I was practicing for the class. When I told them yes they handed me a sheet made out with total rounds and distance required to qualify. Tyler and other gentlemen at counter really helped out.

Employees are rude and it’s over priced. I only wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Great place to get your LTC class/training. I attended the class a couple of weeks ago and I had a great experience, the Instructor (Bruce) was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.Facility: the Alamo Ranch location was very clean, organized, and with a lot of options in stock for you to rent.Staff: great knowledgeable staff that will treat you with respect and very helpful. They will not judge you if you dont have any experience with firearms or if its just your first time at the club and have a lot of questions like I had. Stopped by a week prior to the class just to get a feel/vibe of the place and the staff was very kind, explained everything I needed to know beforehand. Overall great experience, definitely will come back.

I have really enjoyed going with my husband to Nardis Gun Club! The service has always been exceptional and most recently, I had the privilege to learn a few tips on how to handle my handgun from Johnny. Him and Andrew were also very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me choose and what would work best for me. As a novice, I took a Handgun 101 class taught by Pat. As stated everyone has been wonderful and helpful. We became members and look forward to going any chance we can!

My wife and I have always enjoyed this facility, the employees are nice and the place is well kept. However, during the COVID-19 restrictions they are only allowing members, $150 a month, to use their facility. That is very disappointing, I expected more from them and will have to consider shooting elsewhere after this.

My cousin brought me to shoot at Nardis gun club last year. Being from the UK and only 15 years old at the time, shooting a gun other than a hunting shot gun was something very different to me. Nardis gun club is a very modern, clean and a safe gun club, accompanied by very welcoming staff. The staff was very easy to talk to and very eager to answer any questions I had. They have a wide range of firearms to rent; if you wish to shoot something you have not yet shot before. I would 100% recommend this gun club to anyone who shoots regularly and for first timers. I enjoyed the gun club and shooting so much that I came back for a 2nd time before I departed home for the UK. Next summer I 100% be coming back to shoot again.

Took my wife to shoot for the first time and Chris was awesome in helping her get through the jitters and making it a great experience for us all. Knowledgeable staff and all very approachable. Great environment for all especially new shooters. Highly recommend Chris and Nardis!

My go to spot for practicing with my Pistol. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I was a little intimated at first, being new to the sport but the friendly staff took care of that quickly.

Ive been here before and like it because its indoors and air conditioned.However, after the way I was treated when I brought a friend to shoot for the first time, I wont go back. I had a Range Safety Officer come to my lane and ask if I had a stamp for my AR pistol with a BRACE and an AFG, not a VFG, but a completely legal pistol.He kept making the erroneous claim that because it could be held with both hands, it was illegal.If one is going to make this type of claim, you better be 100% sure of what the law is. I hope this employee is taught what the law is, and wont feel the need to interrupt someone firing a completely legal weapon. He kept doubling down on his assertion, and I figured it not best to get into a discussion with an RSO, so I put my pistol away.Upon leaving, I double checked with an employee at the counter, and he said, as the law states, that since its an AFG, its legal.

This place is awesome!!! The service here is always very courteous & helpful. And to top it all off you don’t pay per hour, so if you bring your own ammo and targets you can seriously shoot ALL day for under $30! Definitely worth the visit!

Lady at the front desk was awesome but did not feel welcome from ANY other staff members for some reason..After being told that my ability to actually purchase a firearm from them was next to impossible due to their inventory (even though waiting wasnt an issue for me) I decided to leave.Place is so close to my house I just knew I found my Range & Shop ... Oh well.FYI, Licenced CCW Mbr.

I dont know what more anyone could ask for from a club. Ive been a member of many clubs and this has been by far the best experience. The employees are amazing, knowledgeable, and extremely kind, plus their prices are exceptional. Oh, and the range/facility/store....good luck finding anything nicer. The only way you go wrong here is not becoming a member since it costs about as much to shoot one time as the monthly membership.

We have been to Nardis a couple times, but today we ran into the manager Doug. We had come just to look around and kill time. Doug gave us a ton of information and made it such an enjoyable experience. We will be purchasing a membership because of him and his amazing staff. Your Store Manager, Mr. Johnny Castro cared for all my queries; Your Gun Range Clerk, Mr. Geoff Whitehead, cared for all my tactical training and weapon accessories.I recently contacted the Nardis Gun Club and requested information in regards to a FFL Transfers. I spoke to Mr. Castro who kindly explained the firearm transfer procedures. Mr. Castro remained in contact with me, via email, to provide updates regarding the status of my firearm transfer.Shortly after, I received an email from Mr. Castro informing my documents were successfully process and that I was able to come to the Nardis Gun Club to obtain my firearm. When I arrived at the location, I was greeted with a warm welcome, by Mr. Castro and his staff.I also received finalization paperwork for my review and signature. I reviewed, signed, and returned all required documents to Mr. Castro. At which time, Mr. Castro THOROUGHLY reviewed the documents for accuracy to ensure compliance with the Texas State Gun Laws.After my documents were finalized, I was escorted to the gun range counter where I met with Mr. Whitehead. I explained to Mr. Whitehead that I have not visited a gun range in several weeks and that I would need assistance.Mr. Whitehead strongly reassured me that he will guide me slowly and safely through the processes. Mr. Whitehead was faithful to his word! Upscale indoor range! My boys and I went to the grand opening on Feb 24th and we had a great experience. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The facility is new, it looks amazing inside and out. Very affordable for my two boys and I to shoot. Great selection of firearms to rent or buy. We had a great time!

This is one of the nicest ranges I have ever visited. The staff was very friendly and took their time to help me find the right firearm. Their prices were extremely competitive, in fact, they were as cheap as Academy on many of the firearms that I looked at. I cant wait to come back and use the range.

I have been a member of Nardis Gun Club since their first range and store opened on I-10 nearly a decade ago. I have bought and sold guns there, I have taken classes, obtained my LTC, had guns cleaned and repaired, joined a womens shooting group that meets there and shot God knows how many rounds down range at Nardis. So, I was overjoyed to learn there was a new Nardis and it was in my own neighborhood, sparing me the 30 minute drive to enjoy the sport I love. The new Nardis features state of the art equipment and like the I-10 facility, the staff are committed to ensuring each customer receives excellent service. They have worked hard to build a shooting facility that is modern, safe, clean and professionally run. Please try the new Alamo Ranch Nardis, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Update: Got a call from Doug (I believe he was a regional manager) the day after I posted this review. He investigated a little and found that, in this instance, his staff was at fault. We talked a bit and he expressed that this was a family owned business and they pride themselves on taking care of every customer that walks in their door. He wanted to make things right and gave me a few passes along with a sincere apology. I updated to 5 stars from 1 Star. Not from the passes, or even from the apology itself, but honestly simply for the fact that someone took the time to actually give me a call and talk it out. Its a thing like this that really makes me believe they care about what happens in their stores. To whom it may concern at Nardis, Doug just saved you from losing myself and a few buddies as customers. Thanks again for the call Doug, great customer service!Just returned a Vaultek safe at this place and they charged me a 10% restocking fee, which was $32! Now I understand restocking fees and businesses CHOOSING to charge them. However, I asked 2 staff members what their return policy was when I purchased the safe, and neither of them bothered to tell me about the restocking fee. It wasnt until I returned it that the guy just pointed to the bottom of the receipt that stated the RETURN POLICY of 10% restocking fee. In all honesty the range part of this place is nice. A couple of buddies have memberships. I just caution you before you buy anything from the store. They dont tell you about the restocking fee, which from a business and customer service perspective, theyve severely failed. I dont mind the $32, especially since it told me all I need to know about their customer service and staff training. A restocking fee is usually never good for a business especially when they dont tell you about it when you specifically ask. And its usually not worth it because of negative reviews like this one. I hope they have better customer service training in the future. I felt tricked when I went to return my safe, which is never a good feeling. I wont ever be purchasing anything from their store again. SMH

Country club atmosphere and esthetic. Pricy but nice. A bit too pricy for my tastes considering the alternatives.

Used to be a member at the 410 location but the drive became too far from my home in Westover Hills. Imagine my delight when I heard Nardis was opening a location in my backyard! Went today and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Phillip was cool and very pleasant. Definitely plan to re-up my membership.

Great place to shoot. They Dont allow wild behavior. I love the instructors all have experience and know how to teach. Brian taught me how to group my shots, and hit in the black more consistently.

Yesterday was my first time shooting here in the US. I was completely amazed by the nice facility, staff and services. The indoor-shooting range area was completely secure, awesome and worth the money. The staff members are very friendly and very helpful. Even thought, you have to pay $25 for a day of shooting, its all worth it!

Great looking range, with a good amount of firearms to pick from in the shop. The prices for membership or single day shooting is a little too rich for my blood, so I will say I shoot else where. However, I have purchased my last two firearms from them because of their good selection and prices.

I recently took the License to Carry class and it was a great!! Mark the instructor was awesome. He made the information easy to understand, he had the group involved and it was fun. No one was falling asleep. I went into the class alittle freaked about the laws of carrying, but a lot of it was common sense. I came out of class feeling DEFINITELY better about it. Strongly recommend everyone to come out to Nardis and take the LTC class with Mark.

Receptionist is not customer service friendly..very unwelcoming behavior..so we left, first impression very poor

Very disappointed. I felt like I was turned away for being Hispanic. Went looking for a gun holster and was told by a gentleman that he was busy and he would be with me shortly . He told me the holsters were in a certain area . I then waited a bit and found a holster that said it was for my gun. I went to purchase it and I asked the gentleman at register if he could help me set it up and he said he was to busy and was on lunch. I then left after spending 50 for a holster only to find out it didn’t fit my gun. When I went back he said I probably had to do something to it and it would work . I asked if he could help once again and he told me he was to busy that he would rather refund me. Very rude service coming from this business location.

A new, nice atmosphere, clean, friendly staff.... oh did I mention you can shoot here....JOY! Ive been to quite a several gun ranges and I was blown away, this place is great. Became a member (platinum family) and bought another handgun there. You can actually talk to the staff and theyll even cut up with you. Thanks for opening this range close enough so that I (and others) can do some plinking.
