Came by for 5 cent popcorn and the 10 cent soda pop,They were closed down and just reopened.I hope they get back to some sort of normalcy.Overall, everything is top notch in here.Top of the line. Come on down and take a walk down memory lane.Check out all the antiques here.The candy store bags are smaller but, just as good.The ice cream is also good.So come on down and call ahead for the hours.

I have bought shoes from SAS for over 10 years. Nice shoes and good prices before pandemic...I recently went to purchase a pair and the prices had increased over 100%...I can find a better quality of shoes for a much lower price... this company is taking advantage of customers as a result of the pandemic...shop elsewhere..buyer beware..

Nice store - very large selection of shoes. The sales people are very friendly and helpful. I came to get dressy flats because I had foot surgery and can’t wear my regular shoes from the swelling. Even though it’s an outlet many shoes are still quite pricey and the styles are kind of boring but comfortable for the foot.

My father used to work for this company before the pandemic, and so when we visited this summer he politely asked if he was still in the system as an employee. One of the managers answered him very rudely saying there was no sort of system like that here. We still continued to shop though and ended up buying 4 pairs of shoes. When we checked out the young cashier was also terribly rude. Finally, a couple days later, WITHOUT my brother having worn the pair he got all, he decided he wanted to return them. When my dad went back they were very rude and said they had ware on them and was not allowed to return or exchange them. It’s safe to say we will NEVER be shopping or working with SAS again. Terrible company.

The Associates are very helpful! I love the fact that the associates sit with customers to help with the shoe fitting! I have arthritis in both my legs and they are understanding about this issue. Very clean and there are places for the disabled to park very close to the building. There are new items such as Texas themed blankets and aprons. I will go again!

Staff was extremely patient with a client that had sensory issues due to autism. Just amazing!! A true blessing. Will definitely shop here from now on.Thank you so much.

The service for shoes and the girl at the register were very helpful and polite. The only bad part of my experience was when my husband went to purchase a popcorn and soda. He was rudely told by the older lady that there wasnt any popcorn because the machine was turned off. Yet, right after that, we saw her sell two bags to another couple and she even sold one to my husbands sister. I dont know if she was having a bad day, but she was very rude and ruined my pleasant experience. My husband was really offended and stated that we will not be shopping there again. It is a shame because the other service was great.

I like their pistachio ice cream!🍦The staffs was helpful and friendly when it was my first time here. The shop was organized! I like the western buildings before entering the shop. I hope to come back another time for the factory tour!

This place has a classic feel to it. Very friendly staff. Antique items throughout store as decorative pieces of history. It is an experience, my teenage boys enjoyed it very much. The exterior has plenty of classic eye candy too!

The SAS Factory Outlet on SAS Drive here in San Antonio had a sale today. The staff was very helpful to all customers looking to find a nice bargain. And many, like myself, were looking for specific shoes. A Sales staff member named Delores helped me.She was very knowledgeable about the SAS products, showing me all the styles avail. in my size.A staff member named Albert assisted us in attempting to find the sales items today. The store was very clean with plenty of Sales Staff to assist most anyone. Look for the bargains in the middle of the store! I highly recommend this location. A bit expensive yet very good quality shoes and boots!

Vincent was great help! He obviously knows the products and inventory well and is very professional. He even checked inventory in other stores to help us find our preferred styles in our sizes. No more ”Nurse Shoes” Only here! You can still get them but they have updated styles that are beautiful! Even have kids shoes now!! As always your not walking out without dropping a few $100.00 but then your getting your weight in gold with the stylish comfortable shoes and socks you’ll now own! Your feet will thank you!From the outside your going to be treated to a fabulous display of cars dating back to the 19th Century that is unbelievable! My husband and I were blown away with the collection! Incredible. Inside is the same EVERYTHING is old fashioned style putting you back to the oldies for sure! They’ve added jewelry purses & old fashion and new candy for sale.Giving SAS 4 stars only because part of the lure to go was how cool it was you were treated with bags of popcorn and peanuts as you walked in just shucking the peanuts to the floor, which was so much fun! Well along with the times now you have to PAY for your Popcorn and Peanuts, which would be fine but they didn’t have Popcorn and the lady behind the counter sure wasn’t going to be making any more anytime soon she made that clear! We bought peanuts but it was pretty expensive for a tiny bit of peanuts. We were lucky if she gave us 10. They also serve sodas which aren’t expensive. Just a bit disappointed with this because it was a great reason to come as we sure had good times as kids and we were hoping to pass along the neat experience to our grandchildren!

6th pair of SAS shoes Ive owned. They are AMAZING! I really like the diplomats style. It is a well built, comfortable shoe. For work I wait tables and average over 7 miles a day walking and these shoes provide comfort and balance. They also help with my lower back. So all around they get 5 stars.

Not only are there some great deals here this is just a cool place! My mom was visiting from out of town she was thrilled at the opportunity to buy these high quality shoes are some great prices! We actually enjoyed some popcorn and ice cream while we were there and walked around as this entire place is like a blast from the past! Highly recommend it to all!

This is a very unique store. It has a smorgasbord of shoes for all ages. They even hand make baby shoes right in the store! There are cute & unique gifts and souvenirs too. A little soda shop too. Customer service was great.

This was my first visit to this location. The staff was very helpful and the store, beautifully designed.

Love visiting here. It has been a couple of years since I was here, a lot has been changed around. The lady that helped me was not very kind, I felt like I was being treated like I had no clue as to what I was doing.

The shoes are worth every penny spent. I will only buy these shoes now. They are so comfortable. The staff make sure you get the best fit.

Very nice place! Really calm and quiet. Plenty of leather goods and clothing. I like to bring the kids, they enjoy the popcorn and soda and look at the classic cars. :)

There use to be more things to look at, but I really go for the shoes. They may be cost a bit more, but if youre on your feet a lot, boy are they worth it.

This place is great. The selection is pretty large and they’re doing their best to catch up with modern looks. I actually came in and bought work shoes here even though they looked ancient but for pretty comfortably. All the classic style looks and the in house perks like popcorn peanuts and sodas are all nice and add to the experience.

Take the free tour of you have the time and dont forget to get Ive cream and popcorn afterwards.

Love to get my shoes from here. Whether you need a pair of formal shoes, or informal shoes. I believe they even have athletic shoes there from what I noticed. Their shoes are pricey up front. But what you pay for is quality comfort and longevity. My dress shoes are more comfortable than most tennis shoes. You can wear the same pair on your feet everyday for close to 3 years.I have a job where Im on my feet for most of the day. That just shows they manufacture a superior product.I would highly recommend you purchase a pair and give them a shot.Once you do you wont buy shoes from anywhere else.

Outstanding visit. Ive worn SAS shoes for close to 40 years and Ive never been disappointed and their workmanship, comfort and durability. This was my third visit to the factory outlet and its always great to visit there. The staff is wonderful very attentive and friendly as well as knowledgeable. I also enjoyed looking at the various antiques throughout the store and the outdoor displays. A very relaxing place to shop.

First time I visited my son was 5. He didn’t want to go. Now he is 32 and wants to take his son. Old cars & lots of antiques. Shoemaker demos, lots of great shoes at reduced prices. I usually end up buying 5 or more pairs every time we visit.

Wide selection, expert sales people, and great southwestern ambiance. They offer factory seconds at steep discounts but all their shoes are sold for less here then anywhere else in San Antonio.Im going to bring my out of town family here when they visit.

If you want a great shoe where your feet never hurt again, buy SAS shoes. Ive been wearing them everyday for 16 plus years. On average, they last two to three years. But the best prices are at the factory in San Antonio. And the best time of the year to buy are Thanksgiving weekend. Buy one, get one half off. Popcorn is a nickel and cokes are ten cents!!

From the time we entered the establishment, we were treated as if we were the only people in the store. Every employee treated us with a smile, and Phyllis introduced herself and stated I am here to help you. My wife needed shoes for work and Phyllis was most knowledgeable about the shoes and took the time to measure my wifes foot and fit the shoes to her liking. After trying on at least 4 pairs of shoes, my wife found a pair of black Free Time shoes. When I asked Phyllis if my wife and I were taking time away from other customers, she said oh no, you have me for as long as you need. Phyllis is one in a million salesperson. We will definitely be coming back to this location to purchase shoes etc.....Thank you Phyllis for your help. The manager, Joe, I think his name was, came over to shake my hand, and thanked us for coming in and on our next visit, take a tour of the factory and try some of the food.They have clean restrooms too.

Oh my goodness! Wonderful place. Only shoe MADE IN AMERICA!! HARD working people, producing a great product. Take the tour. Well worth the time. And, they have many styles in the factory store that are not available in regular SAS stores.

When the store manager panics over a register failing but still forces an 80+ year old wheelchair and wallet couple to walk all the way across the store to his other counter instead of opening the registers that are right in front of them and right beside the fir with the wheelchair ramp, thats really poor judgement. When you freak out about a register and cant move because if it Id recommend you recall that the register wont run away or leave you, but customers sure will.

We were greeted very nicely at the store. Pandemic regulations were being followed. Very clean.
