Mendoza Automotive helped me out in a pinch. And they were honest and affordable. I found my neighborhood mechanic.

I have been going to these guys since 2008. They have always been honest with me about what repairs my car needed. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a good and honest place to get your vehicle repaired.

Given the run around for weeks about fixing my oil pump,I would call and Id be told they were on lunch. Id come to the shop and they would say they were too busy. This went on for a month. Then I get it diagnosed at another place and its not even what they diagnosed as the problem.

My semi truck had a small little hole in the exhaust pipe. Those guy did a good job plus they got on it as soon I got there. Good people. I will go back for my automotive repairs.

If you looking to get muffler work choose another shop these people will do what they feel like doing and not what they where asked to do ...they cut my muffler tips so they couldnt be worked on next time and over charged me for the bad job they did... absolutely embarrassing

Not going there again. Got tires put on and the guy didnt even balance them. Claiming because they were in the back they didnt need to be balance. I worked as mechcanic for 7 years. I balanced every tire I put on a customers car

I disagree very bad service charged me for stuff that they didnt even do I came there with a check engine light on and left would a check engine light off which came back on as soon as I got home which was a minute away this is a very bad company and I would not recommend them to anyone

Ive been a customer of Mendoza for I cant even recall but its been a few years. I recently purchased a Tahoe, I took it to Mendoza today for a simple oil change upon picking it up there was mud all over the tires so I took it to the Bubble Bath Car Wash down the street to get washed as Im drying the carpet I notice my right rear passenger door panel interiorwas loose/ destroyed. I took it back so they could look at it they were not busy, all beys are open he says I will look at the camera I respond with what are the camera going to do then he says bring it back Monday Ill fix it. I suppose something wrong with today.very disappointed very upset did not expect this from Mendoza. Im sure no one will admit to it Im just exposing this because like I said Ive never experienced this from Mendoza shop maybe somebody new has been hired I dont know but I hope it gets looked into Im so upset about my panel

The earlier you get there, the better. Their mechanics are great.... and honest. With great prices.

They do exhaust systems the right way. The only place I know of that I would take my vehicle for exhaust catalytic converter work.

They do great work and pricing is great. But dont expect prompt service on Saturdays because they will have you waiting to basically open up shop. No one really knew what was going people waited outside, 1 hour later to find out the guy that does diagnosis is not comming in.Recommended dont go on saturdaya cause you will wait wait for shop to open

I took my car on because the power steering went out. Ruben explained that there was a recall with Ford, but Id already found out through Ford that my car wasnt covered. Ruben then broke down the cost for repairs, immediately looked to find the part for less (and did), and told me my car would be ready the next day. I knew this would be expensive and, having brought my car here before, I knew Mendoza Would do excellent work! I got my car the next day and Im grateful for the great work they did and feel safe knowing Mendoza did the work.

This shop has remained a family go-to for as long as I can remember. Never have had any issues or suspicions regarding the credibility of this place. Once it’s fixed, it’s fixed. If you purchase your own oil they almost always take about 30 minutes or less for your oil change-one thing I noticed. Also, there’s a restaurant across the street so if you NEED to sit it out for a few that place is pretty scrumptious. Great owners, both businesses.

I was qouted a price for mufflers on my car. Then once they started the guy wanted 10.00 Dollars more for rusted bolts removal. This was some time back. Today I had a flat Wich my tire had a small puncture. Some one had helped by adding fix a flat to air the tire up. Because of this liquid now I got charged 15 dollars instead of 8 or 9 dollars tire shops usually charge. Guy rocked the tire in front of us once to the right and left to remove this liquid out of the tire but did not even use a rag to clean the inside. Did not even put the tire in the water to check for leaks after fixed. Said it was extra work he had to do to clean the tire. It seems once your there you will get charged extra but youll find out if you go there.

These guys always handle all my auto needs. I have a Mercedes and a Saturn both of which are hard to find parts. And not just anyone can work on a mercedes. I take my car to them for anything from an oil change to tires and general mechanic work and always 100% satisfied.

Took my truck in for a misfire.. took entire day to run diagnostic.. didnt check any of the things I let them know about then put my truck aside to do other stuff and still no results.. driving home with my truck not fixed.. just a high estimate to clean fuel injectors.. wont be taking it back there again.. waste of time, gas, and money

These are honest people. I brought them a part that cost $150 and they said they didnt need the whole thing so I was able to save $50 and buy the cheaper part. Any other schiester mechanic would have put the part on and not cared about whether or not they save the customer money. But these guys care about their customers and are honest. I reccomend this place to anyone trying to find an honest mechanic. It is really reasonably priced too. Everywhere else wanted over $300 for my repair today, and I got away with under $200 here. Very very happy.

I sit here flabbergasted @ how many people can give these scam artists a good review. I went recently to get my car diagnosed with a second opinion but I was almost certain the problem beforehand. Take in mind this was my go to for any of my car needs. Took it in & was told problem was transmission when a life long mechanic I had look @ told me the catalytic converter was plugged. Life lesson learned when I trusted this place with all my needs & figured out they misdiagnosed purposely to get me in & out after I was told @ shop they sent me to get transmission fixed .....they laughed & told me it was obviously the catalytic converter & any novice mechanic would know by how it drives & falls hard without it having a pulling jerk as transmission problems do. Story gets worse, I take my backup vehicle.....before I found out the scam theyre running. .. that was sitting since insurance & tags lapsed to get looked @ & oil & filter plus a minor tuneup of what they believed needed servicing. I requested to look @ the intermediate shaft since I was told by same mechanic friend that was a probability. They decided to fix motor mounts & car still running how I arrived. I had to sit in their tiny waiting area & have their rude receptionist give everyone dirty looks the entire time. I never had this problem in past but I guess all good things can come to an end. I want them to know who wrote this since I wont ever return & highly recommend others look elsewhere before even thinking about getting air..your shop charged me 149.99 for unneeded motor mount on my gray 05 impala & misdiagnosed my white 02 Malibu & took $35 in the process. Shop you sent me to also tightened my oil plug your mechanic left loose purposely. Why I was subjected to this after staying loyal & brought repeat business I will never know. I have no reason to fabricate one piece of this & by reading it Im sure others will know someone had to be really upset to sit & type this much about an experience..HORRIBLE 😠

I live 3 blcks away. I wish this was one of those honest shops whom you could call your yo go shop or your family mechanics. But every time i go for an oil change, service ranges from $7 to $15 on the same vehicle. They dont have honest and/ir set prices. They charge you twice as much if they can. Sad

I live in DFW and accidentally left an alternator core charge up there worth 37.84 at OReillys, and Medozas called me 5 days later, and personally went and returned it for me, and I got the refund back on my card 6 hours away from there. Cant believe how they take advantage of a woman, they fix one thing and do something else to your car so you can go back to them, and then they want to charge $20 for antifreeze which i know my car didnt need. Then my ac to my car doesnt want to cool now, They were the last people to work on my car and we just found out that something was not connected for my ac to work.They are not honest, Becareful leaving your car there, so the bad reviews you read on here are true.
