Good place to get decent priced goods before you hit the pier. Clean little market that got that cold soda or beer for sunny California beach. Guy behind counter is welcoming.

I went to this business with my 10 year old son to rent a surfboard. The reason why I had a terrible experience is because I was “basically” treated like trash bag or a criminal (per say) by someone who appeared to be either the owner or the general manager - this person was also mistreating the employees by ordering them around like if they were slaves or incapacitated individuals (these guys just take the abuse because they need the job obviously)They gave me a board that had a broken leash and when I went back to return it I asked for a partial refund but instead this abusive manager or owner accused me of braking the leash because I didn’t come back to replace the board right after I rented it (I didn’t because of the hassle of walking 5 blocks back and forth) - When I asked him why was he treating me this way he simply replied:“There is the door if you don’t like it” (in front of other customers)In my 10 years living in the state of California I have never experienced such an ignorant and miserable human being like this guy behind a counter serving people - from judgement to racism I experienced everything in between - I believe this person should work at a prison abusing inmates which will fit his extreme sadness and awful existence in a more suitable way - as of now I will report this abuse to the state of California and also to the local authorities so they know who this person is incase something bad happens in the future.Thank you for reading this review!

Very relaxing, not over crowded. It can get busy, but over all its nice and people are pleasant. Upscale for the most par. Not going to break the wallet.

Great local market alway was everything I need.

FRIENDLY SERVICE ! We popped in here on Saturday to buy lottery tickets and a bottle of water. Gee a top tourist spot straight across from San Clemente Pier and I bought a bottle of mountain spring water for 99 cents. Hard to beat !

Great beer selection

Sadly to say.... My autistic son was asked to leave the front of the store while I was inside shopping... He was neatly dressed and in a happy mood but I am assuming mistaken for some homeless person, shame... I had purchased our beach needs over several days along with souvenirs and other items. Again shame on them...

Well-stocked with beach essentials, coffee, craft beers, everything you need really. Staff are all really friendly too.
