Best steaks and bacon. The whole department is fabulous with customer service, quality and display. Mario picked out 3 really nice Porterhouse and they were delicious. The store manager, Stephen is a great employee, who cares about all of his staff. When I told Stephen that I had received a thank you letter from Stater Bros., that was perfectly composed, his response was the they are a great group and know what they are doing. I agree wholeheartedly.Perhaps the store is the best because of Stephen and staff! Thank you!

Very good prices. Meat department is well stocked, very good customer service, big open parking lot ideally to park a motorhome. Good shopping center with lots of food choices. Very close to Pines Park.

As grocery stores go, you have single stores, you have small chain stores and then gigantic chain stores. Stater brothers is a small chain store that does a great job. A wide variety of items. Clean well kept and fresh smelling. You cant go wrong.

Lots of selection, very clean, and good prices. Additionally, cart returns are in convenient spots.

The store was extremely clean. The check registers workers were so sweet and helpful. My daughter forgot her mask in the car and as she ran back to get it they quickly busted out temp masks so sweetly. Ive never been greeted with so much kindness. And your restrooms are immaculate!!!!!!!!!!

The store is small and needs an update but what wasnt good was the super impatient and snotty check out clerk. I asked for 50.00 cash back and asked for small change likes fives and she gave me 2 twenties and a ten, may have well as given me a 50dollar bill. When I reminded her I had asked for change she got annoyed and til me to be more specific next time... Not recommended

First let me say I never write reviews but was so impressed by one of your employees I decided to write one. I was in your store yesterday 5/30 and needed help picking out some seafood. I don’t cook seafood very so I was a bit lost in what I should get. Luckily and I mean it in a big way I met Derek back in the seafood department. Derek didn’t make me feel rushed and was so PATIENT when I started asking him allot of questions. He was so polite, professional and so helpful. He’s amazing!!

I commend the staff for incredible efforts to work with the Viral panic buying I witnessed yesterday. The store was mobbed, but every checkout lane was open and the shelves were being refilled almost as fast as they were being emptied. Everyone was working as hard as possible under trying circumstances. Well done! Thank you all.

Been going to this Stater Bros for years, can be a great place but every year around Christmas they seem to get a group of new people... like temporary help, which some of them are, let say...inmate like. In the butcher or meat department there is a new guy with tattoos all up and down his forearms and a deep scar in his chin. He is never helpful or polite. Just stairs at customers and puts meat on the counter when you ask for it. Does not respond to questions, does not speak to the customers, just the other employees, seems friendly to co-workers but not to customers,... very unwelcoming. Not sure why this level of hostility is allowed toward customers... or what his deal is... Not good for business... Good luck going there.

Super clean, nice. A little small, lacks selection.

They are friendly helpful wonderful butcher shop and the only thing is I havent been able to get our favorite boxed Stater Bros garlic mashed potatoes since the first week of March.

We moved throughout the store easily and had less than a minute wait in line checking out. We had just walked out of Ralphs. The lines were all the way to the back of the building. Way too much time with a lot of people during the social distancing times.

Still come here sometimes even though we moved a few miles away and have a few other grocery stores nearby. Very neighborly store with some good folk who work here. And the parking lot is far easier than the other options near by. Plus its Stater Bros prices!

I live so close to Stater Bros. I could walk to the store, I have been going there for as long as its been open.I know it so well and especially the meats,The Butchers are great. Produce, very fresh,and Baked goods great...Deli needs improvement bigger variety, but I understand there going to remodel soon... A 5 star is good but Ill waited to give it another 🌟

Its Stater Bros. This is a great market. Their meat department is great and have a butcher there the entire day. Kids have noted that their prices on soda is less than others stores in San Clemente. We just like the convenience and easy access in addition to their better pricing.

I dont know why they just cant give coupons. now its digital deals. search for the website, try to remember passwords. hope you have internet and fumble all this time in the store with your phone. I love technology, but this is annoying

Lousiest Sandwich Ive ever received from a deli, not only was the sandwich lacking lettuce, I only got one slice of turkey! Making the entire sandwich just bread. Very disappointed with the deli at this location....

Top sirloin steak on sale is not good to buy unless you buy it from meat market,and can look at it.pkg steak looks good ontop.. and has alot of fathidden underneath it👎

Friendly staff, selection is great for the space that they have. Parking can get tight depending on the day. Deli is a little slow in comparison to other stater bro deli, this has been the case on multiple occasions. Location is convienent, but with other supermarkets close it doesnt provide much of a wow factor.

Where are the smaller carts?? This store has very narrow isles so those small carts were perfect. I dont care why they are gone, just bring them back. Went to Vons last week.. used their small carts, GREAT!

This is the old school market that I still visit because of good prices and great people working there.

I totally enjoy going to Stater Bros. Its the only place I shop!Im visiting in San Clementeu for a couple weeks, and wondered if the people were as friendly and helpful as this store,as the one I normally shop at in Hemet, CA. They were awesome!I find most of Stater Bros. items are priced better than stores like Ralphs.Now they will deliver your food for you! Just call and give them your grocery list, and sit back and wait for the delivery. I especially like this because I some times grab things I shouldnt eat if I go myself.I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of their stores, wherever I am. Not to mention their kindness, helpfulness and asking if I need help out to my car.They like to ask if I need ice or stamps all the time in Hemet. I like that they are community stores!
