Steve has been working on my cars for over 30 years. He is the most honest and knowledgable mechanic I have ever known. He is always up front with you and never recommends unnecessary work to be performed. I can take my car in for an oil change and ask him to let me know if there is anything else he would do if it was his car. He will let me know if there is something to fix now, monitor for future repair, but usually just lets me know my oil change is completed and I can come pick up my car. I dont recommend you take that approach at the dealerships service department!!! Steve definitely gets a 10 star rating from me even though the max is a 5 star rating!!!Sincerely, James Noordyk

Took my Honda Fit 2015 in as the check engine line was on. Worked with Sna who is professional, polite and positive. He informed me what the wait time would be and also explained that the diagnostic would be free if I decided to do any work that was indicated via the diagnostic at their shop and $65 (way more budget friendly than any other place, Honda begins at around $200!) if I decided to go else where.He promptly called me back in a few hours to let me know that fuel injectors needed to be replaced and suggested I call Honda to see if there had been any recall on those parts. Since there was no recall, and that Sna gave me was reasonable, I decided to get the work done at Steves and had everything fixed within 24 hours of taking it in!I am really happy with the service and will be taking my car back there for an oil change soon!!

Steves Auto Repair gave us a smog check. It cost $32 and took 20 minutes. All the technicians were great. They gave us an accurate time quote and called us when the car was ready for pick up.

Their labor rates are cheap, and they don’t compromise on their quality of service. Great repair jobs with fantastic turnaround time. I highly recommend that you give these guys a shot!

I moved to SD 15 years ago from Maryland with a crew of 15+ friends. We have been taking our cars to Steves the entire time. He is the best and cheapest mechanic I have ever encountered. Steve is the only person whos worked on my car since I bought it in 2007. I was convinced that something was wrong with my brakes, but he checked twice and told me that they were fine. When a mechanic tells a blonde girl that theres nothing wrong with her car, even when she thinks there is, (instead of charging her an arm and a leg for imaginary work) thats an honest mechanic!No fancy frills, just good honest service.

Arranged to drop my vehicle off at Steve Auto Repair after work. Arrived and was greeted by a young man with a smile. Quickly attended too, and serviced my vehicle within a day of dropping off. Price was fair for the service and came with a guarantee.

Great place, hair prices, and seem to be honest.

Steve is the man. Took my 02 subaru in to get an overheating problem diagnosed, turns out it was a cracked thermostat housing that was causing coolant to leak out. Steve couldnt get the part thar day so I hunted around and got it, he didnt charge me for any diagnosis, just had me tip his mechanic. Obviously a smart business man, cares more about repeat customers than getting money.
