They had great inventory, the sales guy Mike was extremely pleasant and made the process as painless as possible. Everyone working here is very nice and the car was a great deal! Great Dealership, bought my Car there today. Just under 2k below average listed price per JDPower and pretty much exactly at JDPowers listed average mileage. Definitely happy with my purchase so far and would recommend atleast looking at their inventory, especially for mid sized SUVs.

I got a great deal on a vehicle at this location. Michael Clark was my sales person. He was very helpful and made the whole car buying process easy. I was sad to see that Hertz shut down operations for a while. Was happy to see that they are open again. Hopefully, Michael is working again at this location. I would buy another vehicle from him .

Great experience overall. I felt like I needed a newer car after driving my salvaged 08 Nissan Versa for years but I didn’t really have the budget for something “new-new” so I browsed through their listings online and researched as much as I could on my end. When I finally decided on a 2018 Kia it was smooth sailing from there, Vincenzo answered my call and helped me with the whole process. He knew what I wanted and wanted to make sure I got it as fast as possible without any hassle, he made sure I was taking all the appropriate steps before I got there so that was extremely supportive. I was browsing on a Friday and by Monday morning we already had everything in order. When I drove over, the vehicle was in the parking lot, ready to test drive and leave with me. Even though we have masks on, I could still see the big smiles these guys had when they greeted me. Vincenzo is very knowledgeable of all the brands there is available out there and he gave me good comparisons between the model I was buying and from different makes so I felt even more confident about the transaction with that kind of input. I got passed over to their manager Julian so we could go over financing to finalize the transaction, and that process was fast, simple, and relieving as he was able to also offer me a better rate on the spot. Thank you Hertz team for making this a smooth process, and being attentive to any concerns I had. Definitely going to let anyone know that’s looking for a reliable car to check this place out! The worst experience ever!!! They have no respect of your time and do not care even if you have an appointment with them. We called them the day before and told them that we were interested in purchasing this one particular car. I even asked for the earliest appointment in the morning to ensure that we are able to purchase the vehicle. But when we got there there was another family that came at the same time and walked in the same moment as i did. Apparently they were there to purchase the same car and does not even have an appointment. They accommodated them first and while i was standing there at the front door waiting!! They confirmed if i had an appointment or not, and i told them i did at 10am. This one guy just said that since the other family was there first and had been back 3 times they are selling the car to them. I even showed the email from them confirming our inquiry the day before and an appointment at their earliest slot. And they still decided to sell the car to the other family. They did not even try to resolve it and just asked me ‘what would you like to do?’ So we decided to walk out and take our business somewhere else. Do not waste your time with these people and be in the same situation!!! Your time and money is worth somewhere else who knows how to handle business well and treat customers right!

This is our second car from Hertz, and were just as pleased as when we purchased the first one (which is still running perfectly since 2014). Anthony, Shirley and crew were fantastic, made the entire experience seamless and friendly. My daughter will be getting her car from Hertz in the future as well. So good not to have to haggle with the typical used car hype and pressure. Thanks to all at Hertz.

Scam !!Went there to buy a car, the sales men sold me a car care plan of 4 years with Pep boys. When I went to pep Boys nothing of the things the sales men told me were included.I went back to the office in San Diego and ask for a refund. They issued me a refund and told me it takes 2 weeks to receive the check. After 3 month, I still received nothing. I called them several times, sent mail...Dont trust the sales team over there, they will try to scam you.

Average experience - no regrets but will likely not return.Pros: Good prices. Finance team was friendlyCons: absolutely zero knowledge of the cars features; cars can be a bit roughed up from rentals (my truck has noticeable marks); they wont give you the second key (stating the maintenance team cant always find it - which is disappointing)Overall: go here only if you need something cheap, know exactly what you want, and dont mind some scuff marks / only getting one key.

Amazing experience buying my first car from Hertz! John Ahlberg was an absolute professional, and so fun and caring throughout the process. It was a bit chilly and I didnt have a jacket on - without asking John brought out his own Hertz branded jacket so I was warm while looking at cars. That level of care really went a long way. I was able to compare models without feeling rushed. John was very knowledgeable about each model of car and let me decide without pressuring what felt right to me.The overall financing process was very streamlined. I absolutely loved working with Shirley - the finance manager. Everyone we encountered here was super friendly and seemed like a great working environment. I would highly recommend my friends and family to purchase from here. Not to mention I absolutely LOVE my new car :)

Sit down for this. Wont take my reservation which I made through Alaska Partners due to my card ... Didnt have a chip!!!!.True story. Multimillion dollar operation and the slider on the machine doesnt take those type of cards. I can go on but I just threw up in my mouth.

Had a great experience purchasing an SUV from Hertz. Robert Buell was my salesman. He worked hard to get all of the paperwork filed quickly and painlessly, and communicated in a timely manner through phone calls and text messages. Greg helped me in finance, thoroughly explaining details regarding rates and warranties. He also put in extra work to help get my monthly payment to an amount I could afford. I also appreciated the no hassle sales model, which made this auto purchase significantly easier and painless then the last time I purchased a vehicle from a traditional dealership.

BUYER BEWARE! Can you get a cheap car here? Sure. Why? Because it has been used and abused by careless renters. Cars may be missing parts or have hidden damage covered with shoe polish (this actually happened to us).Cars are base rental models, with no frills or any modern technology.The sales commissions are low, so staff are not motivated to make a sale or to ensure your satisfaction.In addition, we sat for 2 hours while no one did anything to move along our (all cash) sale which should have taken 10 minutes.Overall, I am not happy and would not come back. I would certainly not recommend this place.

This was my first time purchasing a car on my own and Im so thankful for everyone who works here. From test driving the car and ensuring that I found what I wanted to answering all of my questions about the process, John, Shirley & Greg were incredibly patient and kind.A few reasons why I chose Hertz Car Sales, specifically this location:- Looking @ their inventory, you cant beat their prices. Yes, a 2-year old vehicle might have 80K miles (due to it being a rental car), but since its a rental location, its well maintained / serviced.- I dont know much about cars // dont have a mechanic I can bring with me, but the car I was looking at was Certified Pre-Owned. This alleviated a lot of the stress that comes from buying a used vehicle.- They have a no haggle price (seen on their website).- You have to have auto insurance // be able to add the vehicle to your policy when you purchase it in order to walk out with the vehicle.Not once did I feel pressured to purchase the vehicle I was browsing. I definitely recommend coming here!

I avoid dealerships because of the bargaining one has to do and pressure the sales people put on one. Hertz Car Sales is completely different - truly no-haggle prices which are below KBB.John helped us pick the car and was patient and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and showing all options there are. We bought our car here over 1 year ago and never had any issues. They didnt pressure us to buy, which made for a pleasant experience.

This is my initial review as my my rating is subject to change if it is rectified. 1. I bought a vehicle in April 2020 and returned it on 20th of April. The sale was painless and Ray and Felix were good despite how early on we were with COVID. 2. The vehicle was missing some parts and had minor damages but I was ok with it as the price and service were great. 3. I returned the vehicle on 20 April due to medical reasons with COVID and I had to fly back to the east coast. 4. Ray made an attempt to pay back my loan but the payoff was incorrect and the bank returned it. This was May 8th. Ive called and texted their office countless times to re-do the payback process and get silence or one word responses. I am now in the process of buying a home and transitioning careers and the loan is still unpaid as of 10 June. Can you please have someone contact me to assist before I have to reach out to government organizations for help? Once this is updated I will do the same with my review. Thank you.

They sell their cars below KBB and their cars include a 1 year warranty both a win win for me. I called Robert and said I want to see 4 more cars. He allowed me to run through the lot and see the 4 cars in 20 minutes because had to go back to work. Not once did he pressure me to purchase a car. He let me decide on a car on my own terms. Wow what can I say about this place... the moment we came in everyone was super welcoming John, Gregg and the Manager which I feel bad I forgot his name, they were all very engaging and but no way shape or form pushy to make the sale of the car happne. We went to the lot we saw the car we wanted took it for a test drive and the rest is history. Eveything was a breeze not haggling back n forth, no let me see what I can do, nothing of those sorts. Bought a car here and not only was the oil overfilled but the battery died on my in a little over a month even though their cars car thoroughly checked. But these things happen so I contacted them and they were very dismissive about it with thier response basically stating this is what you get for buying a used car. I would never recommend this place to anyone because of how I was treated after just a short while after buying the car.
