Was greeted from the moment we walked in the door and directed to Alan where from there he welcomed us like like we are his own friends and was courteous with all our questions and mentioned many more things regarding the car we were interested in. Even when we sat down he immediately went to bring us water and snacks and was talking about not just the car sale but like a friend talking about work and other topics while at the same time explaining the purchase process. First of all, was told incorrect information when asking about putting a hitch on the car I bought. Was told a hitch was not a problem. Well, wrong! only hitch that could work with my new car, had to come from Brinks, a European company. Secondly, when asking about the $1,500 credit that would go towards installing a power station, was again given incorrect information. I asked if I could chose the installer myself & was told yes! Wrong, AND, with this info, I went out and bought a power station, not knowing the the manufacture would be sending me one, which had to be installed by their own installers. Very, very poor lack of knowledge for important issues that the dealership should know! When I finally received the promised email from the company; Qmerit, was told must use their own installers & they would send me the power station, (which is back order). Qmerit will not reimburse me for either the power station nor the installer that I used. So this deal ship has already cost me $1,500 dollars our of pocket! And last but not least, the car was not even fully charged when I got to bring it home.

I heard a slight squeal on my brake when applied and was thinking I may have to replace the brake pads. I not only wanted to find out about my brakes, I also wanted to get a quote from Jaguar service for comparative shopping. It turned out that it was just some dirt in the brakes and the pads were fine. Happy is too light of a word to express how I truly felt when I found out that I didnt have to spend hundreds of dollars on something that is needed, but I felt mostly impressed that the dealer service didnt try to take advantage of the situation, and instead continued to earn my respect that their word is their bond and that means a lot to a career military man like myself.
Noel Kapela was excellent during the entire sales process. I special order the vehicle thru him and his performance was above expectations.
I did my research and knew exactly which pre-owned SUV I was looking for. David greeted me and was able to assist showing me SUV I wanted. Negotiations and fees went as expected, the vehicle was a bit overpriced according to KBB and CarGurus but not overly unreasonable considering. I was a bit disappointed how long I had to wait though to sign the final documents and which was close to an hour and a half. David did his best to get me out the door and complete the sale but the day I was there the dealership was understaffed.
Before my scheduled appointment Dustin had me send pictures of the issue at hand. Following an appointment was made where Dustin met me and indicated that it would take an hour and a half. One hour later I got a text with the technicians video of the work performed. Dustin called 2 minutes later and said my car was fixed washed and ready to go. I call that Super Service.

The initial vehicle walkthrough have not identified the issue that the vehicle had until I asked them to recheck and only after 2 times reiterating that thermostat is the issue from my end, it was found. This is not something that I expect from a Jaguar service. I had my vehicle checked before with Jaguar and last time it was all good.

Very disappointed purchased a 2019 Jaguar F Pace in April on 2020. Had to bring it in July 2020 check engine light. Check engine light returns February 20, 21. After making about 15 calls to get a loaner and have the car service by this time my blood pressure is up. Service says it a re-call, now in the past when there has been a recall on other vehicles I owned I received a letter from the Maker (Dodge) to inform me of the recall and to call the dealership to make an appointment to have it repaired. Never received an such letter. After I ask for a copy the service guy Gabriel says it a service recall, still no letter nothing from Jaguar or Jaguar of San Diego. I brought the car in at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and was call on Monday at 11:59 that my car was ready for pickup. So my thoughts they just re-set the car which would make the check engine light go off. Never thought that purchasing a Jaguar would be this crazy, I could have brought a KIA! Then I was just shifted to some one other than the person I was initially supposed to meet with. And then the AUDACITY to ask me to write a good review NOT! This is DEFINETELY a NON-STAR REVIEW but I cant post unless I choose a star!

Set improper expectations on how long the service was going to take. Told me one thing halfway through only to have it completely change by the end and cost 7x what they told me it was originally going to cost. Only reason this isn’t one star is because the staff was polite.

Avoid this Jaguar dealer. There are many more in southern California to choose from, and this should only be your option of last resort.I emailed the dealership (through their website) regarding a car advertised on their website. The car is brand new with a heavy discount, which I approached with questions and apprehension although it ultimately took a few emails in order to get a reply and speak to a sales advisor. Once I finally did manage to speak to a salesperson, the experience was so far below what I would expect for a luxury business, especially one as storied as Jaguar.Dismissive and uninterested in why this car, what is my budget, what do I do for a living, how familiar am I with Jaguar, etc...all the questions you ask if youre trying to make a sale or build a client. It felt like they did not want to help, despite pricing a car to sell during a pandemic, because I wasnt ready to drive it home the day of the test drive. He even tried to tell me the car would APPRECIATE in value and would be great as a trade-in five years from now. What a joke!As a former jaguar owner looking to reengage with the brand, I would never recommend a client feel sidelined like my experience at this place. Highly recommend the team at Mission Viejo as they are much more eager to retain clients, match prices, and speak to you like a human. All the things this dealership refuses to do.

I left my sunglass in a sunglass holder, the next morning I check back, and its gone...if they said they wash the car before hand it to the new customer how could they not seeing my glasses. It is a designer glasses.

Starting with the appointment, Jessica who initially contacted me to set a time and date did not even put it on the service calendar. If you are going to contact a customer regarding service, you should at least add it to the calendar after a date and time has been confirmed. Poor attention to detail resulting in frustration for the customer. When arrived, was informed that annual service could not be completed due to some weird rule about timing after purchase date. Service Manager and advisor blamed everyone for the rule including me the customer and said that nothing could be done to fix the issue. After owning many cars, this it the worst experience that I have ever endured. Will not recommend dealership for either purchase of a vehicle or service for a vehicle. It is clear your dealership and those that work there do not stand behind the cars you sell or the customer experience after purchase. It is just a job to them and none of them seem to like either the cars or the people that buy them. A truly nasty experience.

I am not sure the Parts Department gets many shout outs but Marc Fetter (sp?) went above and beyond yesterday. Like most other people, I am on lock down and decided to get a key fixed for my car. I called in two days earlier and must have spoken with Marc.He only asked my name at the time and my question was straight forward and simple regarding a battery and fab kit replacement.When I showed up, he asked if I was Shaun. I said yes and he had everything waiting for me. Truly a simple yet impressive act which is why I am writing this review. Excellent service and foresight. Thanks Marc, keep us the excellent work!

I was very disappointed that we bought our car from Jaguar of San Diego. We also purchased an extended warranty at the time from the finance department for coverage of ay damage to the wheels. I let them know at the time of the scheduling that I would need to have it exercised as there was a little damage to one of the wheels. When I got there I was told that was a 3rd party vendor and if I didnt have the contract it was not on their database nor in their files as it was a different ownership. I was unable to locate the contract due to a house remodel and files inaccessible so I went without the repair after purchasing it for $1000. I would think Jaguar San Diego would do something to take care of this since it is their responsibility not mine. I have a 2019 Ftype and sadly it will be the last Jaguar I purchase.
I just leased an E-pace for the best deal and it was all thanks to Cary! What a great salesman. He is extremely knowledgeable about the specific car you are interested in. He isnt pushy or forceful but rather meets you where you are and provides the best recommendation at that point. Im so glad to have had Cary assist me with this lease! He is by far the best and I highly recommend him. Jaguar SD is very fortunate to have him!

I had a scheduled appointment with a request for a loaner car. When I arrived at 8:40 am, I was informed that there were no loaner cars. I was told I could wait or come back another day. I explained that I am a physician and I could not wait and I drove in from Fallbrook and driving to the dealership on a routine basis hoping for a loaner was not acceptable. After calling the dealership manager (voice mail, no return call) and Jaguar US (phone tree, no answer), a loaner finally came in. We are looking at new cars, and Jaguar is very, very low on the list. This is not how a luxury brand should treat its customers. Also, our current Jaguar is our 4th one, so a longtime customer has been totally alienated.

Dropped off our Jaguar to get service the first time and they gave it back dirty. Dropped it off for repairs and the rental vehicle was dirty with pet hair and what looks to be like pet slobber on the back seats. Terrible customer service here, weve gotten better service from less luxury dealerships. Just not the experience I was expecting next time well take our car to Carlsbad.
If I could put O stars I would. Go to Yelp and read all the other negative reviews. The service was so bad that I just sold the car. Hard to get calls returned. Hard to schedule appointments. Then, an egregious money grab when I missed the mileage interval for service. No advance notification. And nobody who could explain the policy or accept responsibility. Trying to squeeze $900 out of a customer with a hidden policy? Shameful. They told me to call a 1-800 number. They are not responsive to their customers. They hide behind bad policies. They offer no forum for complaint or feedback. Goodbye Jaguar.
Great customer service! I went there and they treated me like family. They greeted me and someone was with me super fast. I went there once and I walked away with a super beautiful jaguar 35t xe super charged. We went for a test drive and the sales person knew everything about this particular model. He made me feel super confident about my purchase. I only had to asked him a couple questions since he had already given me all the info I needed to know. Super easy deal in and out! Thanks a lot guys ! Highly appreciate the time spend there and I highly recommend this car dealer.

Worst service ever. Took my Jaguar XF in for a recall on the passenger air bag and check engine light late July last year 3 wks later got my car back only to have my trim in my car under the airbag mis aligned, A/C vent not working,lining carpet under the glovebox hanging and my glove box not opening. Brought it back waited 2 1/2 weeks again only to be give an estimate of $900.00 to fix the A/C vent and still the liner hanging down. 2 months later check engine light back on and a CRACKED DAMAGED DASH board all the way in the window crease. Only noticed while changing out the windshield wipers. Sent photos called them immediately got pushed off for an appointment by this place because the check engine light was solid and not blinking and would come off if the car sat long enough. This time they kept my car for 3 wks did nothing to render responsibility for the dash board lied and said it had be a year since I brought the vehicle in try 3 1/2 months to 4 months. Gave me a $5,000.00 YES! $5,000 REPAIR estimate for a dashboard they cracked claiming sun damage. Said they never removed the dash yet they sent a video of the complete A/C. removed out of the dash which only can be taken out if the dash is removed. Lied again stating they never had a request to fix the vent or complaint about it. Continued with another lied again and said I refused repair services I guess they forgot about the $1,400.00 service light repair I paid.Only repair I was given an estimate for sensor with the check engine light The first time. The condescending service manager Scott then compared his wifes 2009 Sun damaged Range Rover dashboard as an explanation of why I had a complaint. Yet my vehicle is garaged both home and work. Dishonest neglectful and disgusting customer service. Offered me $400.00 off for the dash board they damaged as a remedy. Oh yeah and even though they knew I was picking up my vehicle a day in advance gave it back filthy dirty because it sat there 3 wks. When Scott seen how upset and angry I was becoming having to just shut down and not speak any further. Mr.So helpful Scott then offered a car wash.. Really! Thank goodness it rained and God gave me a free wash. Before they scratched my pain and claim it wasnt them. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN ..IF IT NEEDS REPAIR I SWEAR ILL SELL IT FIRST!!!!BTW. Scott your the best......Im sorry almost didnt finish my sentence......dishonest individual ever!
I was promised a loaner and they did not have any. I had to rent a car as the service dept had my car for two days. I have only 6000 miles on my car and I have had multiple issues and am very disappointed in the car as well as the service dept. I have had 5 Lexuss prior to this Jaguar and I will most definitely be going back. There is no comparison in vehicle build or service!!

Amazing. Each member of Jaguar SD is like an extended member of my family. The service department is about addressing immediate issues and doesnt take you on a wild goose chase to repair your vehicle. I dont see my family purchasing a new or pre own vehicle anywhere else but Jaguar of San Diego.
I typically dont have the best experiences with serviced departments, but I was impressed with San Diego Jaguars service. I didnt exactly get the answers I wanted to hear with Jaguars warranty coverage, but he worked his tail off to get me the best possible outcome. He went out of his way two cover everything he could and educated me why other things werent covered. Thanks for the help.
I own a 2002 Jaguar XKr. Usually when I contact a dealership for parts info, I feel lucky if I can get the info I need. Jason in their Parts Dept. Is amazing. Took the time to help me, and even followed up to see if everything worked and was well received.These are great people to work with and when Im ready to replace mine, will definitely make the drive to San Diego Jaguar.

Ive tried calling service Dept 4 times now, different days different times. Just rings and rings and then cuts off. This is a luxury dealership? Comes across as a real low class operation.
Service Advisor David Green always goes the extra mile to deliver great service. Some dealerships are over priced, but Jaguar San Diego is reliable and does excellent work. Even though my Jag is 14 years old, they treat it and me with great care.

But no one, no answering machine, no nothing answered my call.I’m worried because the last two times I dropped of my car on a Sunday, no one at the dealership saw my keys and note and appt until I called on Monday.Tom

I drive a 2016 F-Pace which I love but the service department at the dealership is challenging. It is difficult to get your car in for repairs, they overcharge or are unable to fix what needs to be repaired, and do not communicate well. Loaner cars are not readily available. I expect more from a luxury car dealership and will not use this dealership again in the future.
