My favorite coffee. Regardless of the location, Better Buzz delivers consistently fine coffee drinks. It easily beats the international conglomerate although Better Buzz doesnt compete. They just provide delicious coffee with friendly staff. In this Fashion Valley Mall location they are directly across from Macys.

Good pastries and drinks BUT I ordered online and the pick up service was HORRIBLE. no signs; the cashier told me to go to the other side of the counter. No one was there and my order wasnt either. I stood there waiting for assistance but order after order was placed on the counter of customers after me in line. I had to raise my voice and make them stop working inorder to receive service. (Uncomfortable for me and prolly annoying for them.)Suggestion for first time customers: be invasive, and kindly demand attention.

I don’t know why at this location quality went down. Workers don’t pay attention enough. Orders comes out wrong. For example last 2 times l got acai bowl it was all watery texture and not fresh fruits. They need to fix this location ASAP!

This horchata ice late was so good! I highly recommend it! It was the perfect thing to cool us off in this 90 degree weather!

Im so happy theres better buzz here! Always amazing coffee and great pastries. Of you are into good roasts, youll like their espresso and Americanos. Specialty drink are amazing also. Try their matcha drink if you like them, you wont be disappointed🤙🏽 the only thing is I wish there were some tables and chairs by it to chill and enjoy the cup as it is just a coffee stand.

DO NOT MOBILE ORDER!! Not only does online ordering give you a 15 mins + pick up time when you arrive they still make you wait past your pick up window. They clearly take the wake up line much faster as I observed those who we’re in line get there drink before me and others that mobile ordered . To top it off the employees are miserable as they comment to one another “welcome to hell”. WOW!! Went to Starbucks instead:)

My new favorite little coffee bar/shop. It is very modern and charming. There is always a line, however that line moves quickly...even during the very busy Fashion Valley Christmas shopping season! The drinks are made to perfection. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate. I typically order hot chocolate or green tea, and the OG Acai bowl, as well.

Witnessed a random customer named Cliff scream at a barista this morning, Apparently his drink wasn’t sweet enough. After politely apologizing the barista offered to make him a new drink with as much sugar as he wanted, he rudely declined an cursed at her. Best way to describe Cliff’s actions were that of a male version of “Karen”. I Did not get her name but I believe she was the manager on duty, the customer threatened to call corporate so I wanted to help clear the air.BETTER BUZZ COFFEE IS THE BEST !

Its not the best betterbuzz location but you can get betterbuzz while shopping so thats definitely a plus in my book

April, the manager of this location is a Super B**** and also like talking to a wall.

Staff is very unprofessional, singing and talking to each other while customers wait. Literally held my coffee at the pick up are and finished singing the end of a song before giving it to me.

A coworker kindly surprised me with an iced white mocha buzz with almond milk a month ago... OMG 🤤 was hooked every since! I love this blended/slush version better. Not coffee strong at all like other places, Starbuc... *ahem ... You can actually taste the flavors you ordered (Go figure 😳) without the overpowering taste of coffee (for those who prefer that)... !Better priced, too 😁💰. #hooked

Extremely slow service. Rude and unprofessional barista... I purchased a scone, the barista hand it it to me. She did not ask if i wanted it warmed up. The scone was rock hard and dry, i asked her if she could warm it up right away, her only response was she cant because i already have the bag. I understand covid regulations but since it was her mistake not asking prior to handing the cold hard scone to me she should have come up with a solution... i also had to wait 10 minutes for a cappuccino when they only had 4 customers... my first and last time with this company

Got the snicker doodle latte. It was tasty. I think this place is better than Starbucks. More creative options and better baristas. I still make my own mochas at home, but if I am out of fuel in Fashion Valley, this is the stop I must make.

Ive been here a couple of times coffee is good but the service today was horrible. I asked for a large passion tea sweetened without ice . they gave me a large cup filled up to the half way line. when I asked why if I purchased a large they said because the rest of it is the ICE part. they were rude about it, sarcasm to its foolist. never coming here again.

Their Best Drink Ever is truly the best drink ever, and according to my girlfriend, their Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte is the first PSL shes ever had that actually tasted like pumpkin and didnt taste like potential diabetes.

This is the first place I had Better Buzz, but certainly not the last! Better Buzz is delicious. My favorite thing is the Lavender Black Tea Buzz with that vanilla powder that is like crack.Everything Ive tried is good though and they have a bunch of locations all around the San Diego area. My favorite is this walk-up coffee bar at the mall and the new one in La Jolla is GORGEOUS. Ive been to the Point Loma one several times but its never easy to find parking so its not high on the list but itll hit the spot if youre in the area.They sell merchandise inside thats nice and usually feature some special shirts around October for breast cancer awareness month.They have a great mailing list and fan appreciation is strong. I love how they often have specials at their various locations around San Diego and have seasonal drinks flavored pumpkin and peppermint and such for holidays.

The discount for subscribing online didnt work and the coffee took 45 minutes to receive also they said I have to tell them theres an online order that we placed. Thats some BS and they offered 0 apology when I told them I was waiting this whole time. Terrible customer service. Covid is no excuse.

My wife was craving an iced coffee and I noticed quite a bit of people making line so we gave it a shot. We got the hazelnut divinity and boy o boy was it good. Well definitely get one every time were at the mall from now on.

Forget starbucks and switch to better buzz coffee. Such rich and flavorful coffee. You will appreciate and switch if you a re a real coffee lover. Just the coffee, tho. The acai bowls are not good. A mush of everything that looks like cat food. But besides that coffee is awesome!

Increasing to five stars.EDIT: for the third time this place is out of ice and can only make hot drinks. I understand once in a while, but three days in a row? At that point youre just a bad business. Oh, and let people know before they wait in the line. How lazy can you be? Never again.This place is great. A nice change from Starbucks. Only downside is there employees seem discombobulated most of the time and theres often a line to order and a line to get your drink. Partly from popularity, but also a result from the aforementioned employee confusion.

Yuck yuck. Management have you tasted your espresso beans before serving it? It is so sour and cheap! If you want to use commercial coffee beans at least mix 2 or 3 type of coffee beans so you can be able to serve some drinkable espresso shot. It sour like lemon. You know pretty well it is sour and you shouldnt serve.F for failed business.

This is the only coffee spot worth going to while youre at the mall. Dont even think about waiting in that horrendous line at Starbucks upstairs.I always get the Best Drink Ever iced with easy vanilla powder. Its way too much sugar otherwise. It is freaking amazing and worth every penny. And will get you through all the perusing of Fashion Valley Mall.

Very friendly and welcoming enviorment. The toffee nut late was a lovely recommendation. A nice balance of bitter and sweet, and that touch aromatic nuttiness that I enjoy.

Wow. So glad i was guided here by my yelp peers and skipped Starbucks.Seriously one of the best vanilla lattes Ive ever had. 1/2 power vanilla is the way to go if u dont like overly sweet. The flavor of the coffee is magnificent.Kiosk on the bottom level towards JC penny, right next to urban outfitters.

Never had such an ignorant and bad customer service at the same time. I am dairy intolerant and before I order anything I nicely asked MARIA, the cashier at the time, what options do they have that are dairy free, she responded that all of their coffees powder contain dairy but she suggested the honey latte without vanilla powder and she said Its vegan too at what I responded No, honey its not vegan. I was wondering what makes her believe that I am vegan when I just have an allergic reaction to dairy? She insisted that their drink was vegan so much that she showed me the bottle of honey syrup. I nicely responded honey is from bees and bees are insects cant be vegan because honey its considered an animal product. She got all upset and slammed the iPod and I didnt say anything at the moment until she realised that I cant sign because the iPod was facing her still. What a childish, bad and ignorant service MARIA the cashier provides to customers.

Sour underextracted espresso and they put way more milk into the cortados than they they ought to.

They were out of cold brew. Only served drinks with almond milk at the time I went. Tried the Horchata latte and it was too bitter and didnt taste at all like horchata. Place was kinda dirty.

Emily was incredibly helpful in helping to pick out a gift, even offering to grind the coffee for me, and I was satisfied overall with the level of care I received.

This location is hot garbage, maybe they should think of changing their booth to bitchy buzzy or better but not really because were terrible people buzz.Tis a shame, really, because their coffee alone is good, if youre into that frilly sort of thing. Free Garbage Coffee. After my experience here, Im convinced the only way this weird bean shack is still open is because its one of the only places to get coffee in Fashion Valley that isnt Starbucks.Once we got to the front of the line, our order was taken quickly. Thats the only positive thing I can say about the whole expierence. After this, I stood in front of the register for about five minutes while some blonde-moustached hipster mutant pushed buttons without making eye contact or ringing me up. Five minutes. I even tried talking to him and was ignored.At that point, Id tried to pay multiple times and it was apparently giveaway hour (this was around 1:30pm, worth keeping in mind). I walked to the other side of the cart and noticed a horrible smell coming from a rag that was being used on all the counters. It smelled like swamp water.Eventually our apparently free coffee showed up. No indication anyone was keeping track of the till, so these guys must be hemorrhaging lost revenue. Maybe this place is a money-laundering front for a trustfund mob collective? Who knows.Our coffee was disgusting. Burnt roast charcoal espresso and the mint infused abomination my fiancee order tasted like it had been made by soaking a bunch of expired andes mints in spoiled milk.TL;DR: Not worth it even if they for some reason dont take your money. These people are bad capitalists.
