We have been going here for years. Best breakfest in Pacific Beach. The owner and staff are super friendly and we are so happy they survived the Pandemic.

Stayed in the area on vacation, and I absolutely fell in love with this place! I had a perfect breakfast with my mom right out front! Not only was the french toast super yummy, but we also had a great seat to people/dog watch 10/10 cant wait to come back 🥰😎

Finally had the chance to visit The Menu. It was a great experience. From first contact to food and speed of service it was awesome. Can only recommend the breakfast tacos I had with refried beans. They were delicious!! Coffee is great as well. Well hope to make this our regular breakfast spot! Thanks for having us!

Came here this morning as a new place for breakfast. I had not been here before. It was not too busy, they have a few tables outside and more tables inside. Decorated with old pictures of San Diego. My wife ordered the chilaquiles and I had the french toast. Chilaquiles was a little spicy, but my wife enjoyed the flavor and said the spice was actually quite good especially when you got a fork full with the crema. The french toast was also quite good. Thick pieces of french toast with about 5-6 pieces of bacon and eggs.The wait staff was great, friendly and able to answer questions about the menu. First time here and will definitely come back.When we received the check I was anticipating our usual 40-50 dollar breakfast bill with tip. And it was actually much more reasonable at about 40 and that was including the 30% tip I left.We will be back here to try more menu items soon!

It was really good! I liked the pancakes alot and the other food! It was so good that it made me full very fast! 5 stars! I would recommend to come here! I will be back again next time in San Diego!

Pleasantly surprised, took a stroll down the street and stopped in for a bite. Not a great location, it’s loud, close to traffic, and plain. What they do offer is great food at prices that are hard to find in PB. Casual atmosphere, and friendly staff. We even talked to the chef. He approached us. Went there twice in 4 days. A real neighborhood restaurant.

Great cooked food but recommend making your own biscuits instead of using dry premades.

I am a long time customer. The first time I ate at this great little restaurant was a big wow experience! A casual setting for sure but the food and the service is fantastic. Servings are generous and the food is very tasty. My favorite breakfast is Chili and eggs. I am getting hungry thinking about it...They had a posted sign that caught my eye when driving by; it read, Best Breakfast in Town. With a sign like that, I will try this restaurant for sure! (I recommend restaurants and businesses make claims like this and then live up to it. If a customer says something like Best then the owner should find a way to share it with the public, just like the Menu did with a sign that everyone driving past can easily read).I am very glad I can read! I discovered that the Menu restaurant lives up to its claim and that has made it a local favorite and a destination in Pacific Beach (Crown Point). You will LOVE this restaurant. Read the reviews here and decided to give it a try. Amazing food! Everything was super fresh and tasty. Pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon was thin & crispy. Wait staff was super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Wife and I ordered the eggs Benedict which were cooked perfectly. 👌🏼 Daughter had the banana and strawberry pancakes and corned beef hash which I tasted and were excellent! My son had the breakfast burrito which I didnt get to taste because he devoured it 😂... The service was fast and friendly and I recommend this place for breakfast!

The food is awesome! Authentic Mexican burritos that you cant stop eating, with handmade tortillas! Also, a nice surprise: the best coffee we had anywhere in SD! We went back twice because I had to have another breakfast burrito!!!

Had machaca plate, it was sweeter than I thought because of the onion and peppers. Like how the country potatoes are consistent texture, not too soft or hard. Pancake was ok. Coffee is watery so I rather get coffee somewhere else.

What a way to start the day! This place was incredible - classic American breakfasts, Mexican, and somewhere in between if you cant choose a side of the border. Local crowd (you know that its a good sign when staff knows patrons by their names) but I felt very welcomed by the staff. Great service, good to bring the kids.

We decided to give this place a go because of the great reviews but after driving there on a Sunday from Oceanside to pull up at 1 oclock on the dot and they close at 2 and be told that they are closing early now at 1:00??🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ with no notice no sign no nothing Pretty much did it for me I will not be returning. To longe of a drive for nothing...😏🤦🏾‍♂️when you try to help a small business!?!🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ I dont recommend

This place is absolutely great. Independent, local business with great food, drinks, and prices. The mango mimosas are so good, as are the omelettes and potatoes!

Found this little hole in the wall while driving around, stopped by to get a bite to eat before hitting the beach. The staff here was amazing. We got there less than an hour before they closed, however they were happy to seat us with no rush at all to get us to leave. The food here was amazing! The price was affordable which is always a plus! If I could rate this restaurant a 10 star review I would!

Great breakfast/brunch spot in Crown Point area of pacific beach. Menu includes a wide variety of breakfast food, but my favorite is the açaí bowl or meat combo. The cheat code is coming during the week and getting one of the daily specials, for example the Tuesday steak and eggs special is best deal in PB. Love this place!

Ordered 2 eggs 2 pancakes with potatoes, bacon, ham, sausage for under $11.00! Eggs and bacon done to perfection, all was delicious and is local to me in PB♡Will be back♡

Its hard to mess up steak and eggs, but equally as challenging to stand out with this basic menu item - but this place has amazing steak and eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly (over easy) and the steak was super juicy and flavorful, which was unexpected. They even make their bacon extra crispy without having to ask! Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite for a good price.

Very impressive offerings, found a place for myself (Irish) and my boyfriend (Mexican), that serves machaca and eggs as well as Irish breakfast sausages. Seriously delicious.

Drove all the way down from Oceanside to try this place only to find they close at 1 and not at 2 like the website and front door advertise. Total disappointment since we got there just a few minutes passed 1. We could still smell the last order cooking. We ended up at The Broken Yolk....

To each his/her own. Friends have told me that Hash House a Go-Go would be the place to be when it came to breakfast, but for me, the Menu is the spot. I lived in Pacific Beach, right around the corner on Promontory Street, so Im probably biased having eaten here so many times, but I love the food, I love the service, I love the location. I just visited SD for a family vacation and while our itinerary did not allow for a sit-down breakfast, I made it a point to head over and grab a couple take out orders. I last ate at the Menu 7 years ago and its still one of my favorite breakfast joints. I still love everything about it and will continue stopping by on every visit until it either closes, or my doctor demands that I stop eating breakfast meats for the sake of my high blood pressure...

Great prices, great location and delicious food! I ordered the steak and eggs and it was cooked perfectly for how I asked. A bottle of champagne and a side of OJ for mimosas is 15.00! I also loved how they served pico de gallo with their breakfast plates. Whenever Im back in Cali, Ill definitely be visiting again

Great food, great service, and outstanding coffee! What else do you need. Nice little breakfast place in PB located very close to the beach and Mission Bay recreation areas. We went on a weekend and, surprisingly, we were seated almost immediately. Wife had an omelet, daughter had eggs benny, and I had the french toast. We all shared a little of each plate and thoroughly enjoyed the mix and match. Everything was excellent! Now, how many times have you had coffee at a restaurant where the stuff was so strong it would eat right through your napkin if you happened to spill a drop? Not at the Menu! Mellow, smooth, and just the way I wish I could make it at home. Well done The Menu! I’m going back for more... Pictures next time, too. I promise.

Loved the food and prices. Its a semi small place with little tables and a few cushioned booths, and we sat right next to the kitchen and bustle but the service was fast and friendly so we didnt mind. Breakfast food couldnt be better - not fancy but very plentiful and made from whole foods not little scraps. Potato sides are huge and delicious just a little crisped on the bottom and made from whole potato. We heard someone complaining about his steak being med not well done ditto with his eggs: we had six people and every plate was perfect and the place was full with a line. Dont be that guy.

Ordered the breakfast burrito and kids happy pancakes. Food and service is great! The mango habanero hot sauce made the burrito. I only wished they didn’t charge $1 for each ingredient for the burrito.

As far as breakfast goes, its up there with one of the best Ive had. This is a really chilled laid back place with great food. I got the breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausage, country potatoes and pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The portions are massive also. You wont leave hungry. The pancakes were particularly good, and the sausage. Would 100% go here again.

The Menus phenomenal. The food was amazing and they had such great selection it was hard to choose what to order. I spent a lot of time reviewing the menu at The Menu.I got the mango juice (best mango juice EVER) and an egg sandwich. Both were delish!I loved the environment and old historic pictures of San Diego, specifically Pacific Beach that were on display.The line moves quick and is worth the wait.

Food was okay, not worth the $$. Everything adds up here - I ordered 2 pancakes ($4.50) with chocolate chips ($1) and one scrambled egg on the side ($2.30) with cheese ($1). The eggs were seriously a little pathetic - no more than a 1/2 cup with more cheese than egg. A cup of tea was $3 and I didn’t get a chance to ask for a dairy alternative milk because the server walked away pretty quickly.With tip it was like $15 and I should’ve just made the food at home myself.Should have taken a photo.
