This was my first visit to Tasty Donuts. I ordered the raspberry filled donut and the blueberry cake donut. They were both delicious, and what a donut should be. The raspberry donut was soft and had plenty of fruity raspberry filling. The blueberry donut had the blueberry taste in every bite. Some of the bigger chain donut shops make their donuts with too much glaze or the glaze tastes too sweet. This was another example of a great family owned donut shop with great variety. The young lady at the counter was friendly too. Great experience overall. Eat up!

Wow I came here 2 days ago and the woman behind the counter was very nice. Not only is the iced coffee really good but also the donuts and the croissant with ham and cheese. Also I was very surprised at the ice coffee actually had “iced coffee” in it. You don’t see that everywhere. I’ll definitely be coming back here. Oh and that blueberry donut was 🔥😈

If I had a chance to try their peanut butter-filled (oh yes, I said PEANUT BUTTER) doughnut, I would have added another star. That was my stupidity. They take some real pride in their craft. The apple fritter was as close to my idea of perfection as possible, and the bear claw was flawless. From the size, to the fry, the cinnamon underneath the dough, and the right amount of good-quality apple filling. Next time I call ahead!

Was surprised to find such good donuts here but they were all super moist and tasted great. The cronuts have a nice crispy crust with a really nice flaky inside, so good. My only nitpick would be that the glaze and icings are a bit too sweet for me. Overall, really great affordable donuts. Will be going back for sure.

Always impressed by the donuts here. When I bring them in to work I get coworkers asking me where theyre from. Dont let the hole-in-the-wall appearance of this place fool you - some of the best donuts in San Diego. And the folks there are really nice as well.

I “ accidentally “ tried these donuts. Someone brought them to a potluck. Was the best donut I’ve ever had. And I’m a pastry chef. SERIOUSLY GOOD.*EDITED TO ADD: I HAVE DREAMT ABOUT THESE DONUTS. Like they’re so good I’m CRAVING another one in my sleep. Try them out today, I promise, You will NOT be disappointed!!

One of the best donut shops in San Diego. While their variety can sometimes be depleted, their quality and freshness is rarely matched. Today my donuts were still warm when I reached home. Go early for the largest selection.

They have cronuts and cronut holes (too sweet for my taste, some family members like it though) but the butter croissant was spot on. If I wasnt easting breakfast at home, and if this was on the way I would probably eat their croissant more often.

Food was so yummy. The staff was friendly and sociable.

Saw this place while getting pizza and glad we stopped. I got two diff donuts, really good. They even gave my two daughters free donut puffs.

So this donut spot serves iced caramel macchiato. Their ice is made of frozen coffee. As your ice melts your drink doesnt get gross. I love that. The cheese danish is really good. The place looked very clean. Definitely a gem in Tierra Santa.

Really great donuts! Some of the best my wife and I have found anywhere in southern California or Colorado. The staff is really friendly here too!

Great customer service

Went in early. Asked how long until the raspberry filled donuts were ready, he said 20 minutes. I waited outside. 36 minutes later, after asking politely a couple more times, and buying a cold, not fresh baked apple strudel in the meantime, that immediately made me decide to walk over to Vons and get some fresh fruit instead! No bueno!

Dropped in on tues. looking forward to returning with my friends. bring your appetite because portions are large. ambience reminds me of san diegos scene.

Got a regular chocolate glazed doughnut, and it was ok. Not bad, but not particularly good. Next time I would try the cronuts or cronuts holes.
