A liquor store that closes at 8pm? Y’all are a disgrace.I am admittedly a little upset. This happened a few months ago, but this has been my neighborhood grocery store for a number of years.I stopped by with my girlfriend and younger sister one day with the intention of grabbing a few beers . When I came to check out, they asked for all of our IDs. When the cashier saw that I was the only person of age, they turned me away, saying we all needed valid IDs.I’m not going to go into what is fundamentally wrong with this, because any reasonable person should be able to see for themselves. It only takes one really bad experience to ruin a history.

The people who run the store are very helpful. Love the selection of gluten free items, chocolate and other hard to find items.

Somewhat pricier than other places but it feels good to support my local grocer

I really like Easy Freezy. Id much rather give them my money than somewhere like Walgreens (particularly the West Portal store.) The owner and employees are all very helpful and nice. The store is quite large and has a great selection. The prices are not bad and they never gouge anyone because each item is scanned at the register and has a fixed price.

This is easily the best place on w portal Ave to pick up wine and snacks. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Dont go anywhere else, especially not the place across the street.

Nice little mom and pops type market. They have everything from bread, to paper products, to wine and beer, to cigarettes and lighters. Very nice staff. Parking can be a bit of a problem, depending on the time of day. Parking out front on the street (metered), or just a couple of blocks to the nearest parking lot.

Very impressive craft beer selection for a large local convenience store: wide variety of California/West Coast brews & imports, including several notable Belgians. Many varieties found in singles as well as six-packs. Very friendly staff.

This place is a secret craft brew gem! Im always checking out this place when Im trying to find new beers. All the craft brew stores are mostly downtown, which is a headache. Every time I go in there I find something new. The main guy behind the counter always tells me which beers he just got and even gives me reccomendations when I cant decide (which is a lot). Last time I was there, I found a super rare (and yummy) beer thats brewed in the sunset district! If youre looking for a six pack that will impress all your friends, look no further- and forget the long trek downtown!

I used to purchase alcohol here while I was underage back in 2009. 5 stars would purchase alcohol here again.

Honestly, I never find anything I want in here unless its a bag of chips or a candy bar.Their beer selection is quite good but extremely expensive, and I would never get wine here if I could just go to SFWTC up the road. I suppose its good in a pinch, but the only time I am desperate enough to shop here is if I have the munchies.Is it me or does the person behind the counter seem to always be different?

Easily the biggest ripoff in West Portal. Most prices are not listed so they can overcharge you at the register. Food selection is awful, and the bread is often past the sell by date. organic foods, health and gourmet food what a joke. The sad thing is theres not much competition. Maybe the small place across the street or the Walgreens?

Great little convienient store. Has tons of kombucha drinks and local honey!

Great market, has a big selection. Cant find any of the imported eroupean stuff anywhere else. Always there for ice cream and eroupean goodies.
