Clean store. Friendly clerk. They were open earlier than other markets here but be advised, this is a market lacking the market usuals. Simple items such as dog food are not offered. Its a shame because I walked a ways to get there just to be told to keep going another block, towards california produce. So the (produce store) which typically indicates it sells farm grown food, carries dog food. But the (Green Apple Market) which, markets, typically indicates they carry neighborhood necessities, has no dog food. Will return due to fresh meat selection.

Every time I come here past 9 PM theyre closed. Why say that youre open until 11PM when you clearly are not? I even CALLED at 7:30/8:00pm earlier tonight to make sure theyd be open and no one answered, indicating to me that no one was there even THEN.When you have a portion of the population that literally DEPENDS upon you for their groceries due to religious and or cultural reasons, the LEAST you can do is honor your posted hours of operation. 😕

Small store that packs a punch in a very small area. If youre looking for spices, middle eastern ingredients, baklava and other delicacies, this is a good place for you.

Nice folks. Interesting selection, halavah, spices, some produce. Halal meats. Ive never gotten meat here, but it sure looks fresh and clean. And if you need a fresh lambs head with eyeballs, for that special stew, you may want to check this place out.My impression, these folks are proud of their store and what they offer, and they are gentlemen when dealing with their clientele. A gem in the Tender-Nob.Also a go-to if you want to give a dressed lamb as a gift to your Muslim friends at Eid al Ftir.

Love this place! Always busy. Everyone is very nice and they make some of the best sandwiches! Occasionally you may find some not so fresh items (like candy bar) but for the most part no complaints.

I buy my meats and everything else from this mini market, they make sure to always give me the best quality ever, cleanest meat and chicken, I never smelled anything bad.

One of the two Halal butchers/markets in the Tenderloin area. Clean, well-stocked, and well lit. The meat is very neatly wrapped and displayed. Though the prices arent listed, it was my experience that you just pick out what you want and youll receive a reasonable price. Theres an outstanding, wide selection of spices. There are also sweets, desserts, and other Middle Eastern Goods as well as mundane, typically American sugary drinks. Communication might require a little extra attention and effort, but if youre patient and polite, it is a very pleasant shopping experience. Its also a special treat because its a favorite of the local Arab and especially Yemeni community.

For a small store, they have a great variety. The one isle is a little cramped, but the sales people are friendly and quick. They also have a great variety of fresh meats.

Mediterranean and Arab products. You can find 7 spices, cardamon, harissa, tahini, pomegranate molasses, rose water, yogurt, kefir, Bulgarian feta cheese, etc.

My place to get my fresh chivken, veal or Lamb meat for when I feel like cooking. They also have a nice selection of veggies and back corner of the store is a rather large assortment of spices. If you like fajitas they usually have pre-mixed chicken or beef fajitas that only need cooking and they taste great all of it far less expensive that Safeway or Trader Joes. I highly recommend Halal Green Apple Market and will çkntinues to do my shopping for the fixings of a home cooked meal there.

Persons are good, meat is good, fruits, vegetables are nice, drinks soda nice, spices and dry fruits also there, coffee is great, and the best thing sandwiches ohhh Turkey sandwich is my favorite, dates, Arabic sweets breads, tin pack foods, and sausages ( are good in taste )Today 08/15/2019 I go there n the best thing is both person are nice n fulfill your requirements immediately, with nice manners, cream chees is puck ( salty ) is only available here, love it

Small local neighborhood grocer that has all of your core cooking needs (onions, peppers, garlic, rice, etc..). Its not extensive but if youre looking for convenience, they have what you need. Also, they have several specialty honeys.
