We knew we were coming in for a new dishwasher and had a budget. The salesperson, Chris, showed us different models with features of each. The purchase process was easy. The delivery process went as anticipated. We installed ourselves, so cannot speak to that aspect of the services offered.Overall, happy with the experience and would go back for other appliances.
I was sent to Airport Home Appliance by a Lowes employee who told me Airport has better selection and better prices. This turned out to be true. Airport Appliance had the refrigerator model I wanted in stock at a lower price than Lowes or Home Depot, (both of which were sold out anyway). The unit was delivered to my home 3 days later--very fast. Unfortunately the unit arrived damaged from the factory, and this wasnt clear until after the delivery crew unwrapped it. I had to send the unit back to the store, but my sales representative Janelle was able to procure another one and have it delivered within 48 hours. Now THAT is excellent customer service. No-one from the big-box retailers could have done that. I will definitely be coming to Airport once I want to upgrade the rest of my appliances. Dont waste your time looking on Amazon or going to Lowes or Home Depot. Airport Home Appliance has FAR SUPERIOR customer service and competitive prices. When you get there, ask for Janelle.
I took my mom to look at refrigerators for her. When we entered the building we were acknowledged and asked what we were looking for. We then were showed where to go. Lillian Tu showed us some different ones, asked a few questions and then left us to look and discuss. She then checked back and asked if there were any questions, asked if we had measured to see if refrigerator we liked would fit and gave us a spec sheet for it. I jotted down the information of another choice. When we got back to my moms to check measurements, we found that the first choice was too tall. I called and gave Lillian the information for our second choice. It was ordered and paid for over the phone. Delivery was set up and the process was explained. All went well. My mom and I were happy with the whole process from start to finish.
Hi there, As I mentioned in a Yelp review and to two folks that I spoke to, the day of and the day after the delivery, the entire process of going to the store, speaking with two salesmen, the purchase process and the delivery and unpacking was excellent.Our only negative experience was on the day of the delivery.The lead delivery guy asked if he could borrow a tape measure. We said sure.The one we loaned him was a tape measure that had been given to my wife from her dad decades ago. The two guys finished up their business and left.Soon after that, we realized that, we forgot to ask for, and the lead guy forgot to give us the tape measure back.Thats what precipitated the two phone calls. I was told that the trucking company would be contacted and that we would, hopefully, get the tape back. The delivery was on Friday, the sixth. Were still hopeful but Im realistic as well. For the same model of refrigerator it takes Home Depot and Best Buy one month to deliver. We can get it at Airport Appliances in just a few days. Their prices are good too. The store on Bascom Ave. looks run down though.
Buying experience was good but delivery really screwed it up. We bought a Bosch 500 series dishwasher ($1150) and also paid $150 for installation. But when the delivery team arrived, they said one valve needs replacement and they will need to charge $250 for it. I refused since I didnt want to pay almost a third of the cost of the dishwasher for installation. Later I had to get my own plumber to install the valve which was a 10 min job. Airport Appliance needs to train their delivery folks better.
Every time I need to purchase a big appliance, I head to Airport Home Appliance. Theyll price match to any of the big stores but what makes them different is the personal touches at every step of the way. From them walking through the details of the appliance youre getting at purchase to the delivery and installation people being FAR more helpful (like at one of the big stores if theres a problem with a fixture or something, they take it back and are like sorry, too bad, a first hand experience I had. But at Airport, like when they installed my washer/dryer they had a plan of what to do if the fixtures had become corroded, they could send a guy out to fix it). Hence why I always buy from them. I want to know when I buy a dishwasher, Ill have a dishwasher installed at the end of it, ya know??

We visited the Bascom location in San Jose on the Thursday of Labor Day Weekend. They were short-staffed and busy. I spoke with Nathan Austin he gave me some info on a Samsung refrigerator. I emailed him the next day, Friday to finalize the purchase. By Monday, our fridge was delivered. The delivery guys were very quick and professional. I definitely recommend Airport Home Appliances.
Our friend who just bought a washer/dryer unit from Airport Appliance convinced us to try them over Home Depot for price and customer service. We are glad we went. The overall experience was excellent! It started with a breakdown of our 19 year old, built-in Viking refrigerator that was too expensive to repair. We started with researching online and determined an appliance specialty store like Airport Home Appliance would have competitive prices, deeper knowledge of appliances, and quality delivery/installation services. Linda Trang was our Customer Service Representative, who guided us through our decision. We had a built-in, so finding another refrigerator had to fit the depth and width of our cabinet. We wanted a good value for the money refrigerator. The pandemic is also causing longer lead times in the supply chain supply. However, Linda printed out our top 4 choices and wrote down the lead times and prices. After two visits with Linda, we decided on a counter depth Bosch refrigerator. It was in-stock and delivered / installed in two days. The large and heavy built-in refrigerator was removed without scratching any doorways or floors.We saved a lot of money transitioning from a built-in to a quality, counter depth refrigerator and without losing storage space. I just had to do some cabinet modifications to accommodate the Bosch refrigerators 72 inch height. We are very satisfied customers and highly recommend Airport Home Appliance (San Jose).Thanks, Linda!

Shopped for a new refrigerator. Salesman was knowledgeable. Other salespeople at other stores didnt volunteer much info. We got up to date on the status of orders from the one at Airport Home Appliance. Come to find out white refrigerators are becoming a thing of the past and are difficult if not impossible to get. Many stainless ones are backordered as well. Ordered a stainless one with the possibility of a 6 week wait. Compared prices with Lowes and Home Depot. Airport Home Appliance price was lowest.
Great service in the showroom. However, installers did not cover their shoes when entering my home. They scuffed the freshly painted wall and dirtied my brand new carpet. I expected better.
I have purchased multiple major appliances from these folks. Even with all the shortages in supply, they always have something that I can work with. Its also great that they can offer delivery, installation and removal of old appliances as well.

Sales staff was great and knowledgeable. Took 1 star off for delivery. The guys were great but their attention to detail was a little lacking. While they peeled off the protective film from the fridge, it ripped when it got close to cracks leaving small amounts that I then spent an hour tweezering out.It would have been less work it they had not removed the film at all as I would have had more to grab onto.Minor but I expect to have the unit for a long time a little plastic fringe would drive me crazy if it was left there.

We had a great experience with a very knowledgeable salesperson, Melissa, she really can compare models and options with your needs. Our only issue was not an Airport issue, but the overall slowness of chip and product availability, we ordered a washer and dryer, and the dryer arrived 8/23 and the dryer does not arrive till mid September.
I needed a refrigerator during Covid time and they were able to deliver the next day. I am very pleased with their service and plan to return for a new washer and dryer, because its about that time. Thank you Daniel for all your help.

Great customer service & great delivery & installation! We purchased a dishwasher and microwave to replace ours that both broke down recently. Went to Best Buy at Santana Row and had a great experience with their salesperson (Kim) - but their delivery and install kept cancelling appointments - so we returned everything and got a refund. We had never been to Airport Home Appliance - so we went there last week and on Monday everything was installed! Such great service at Airport and their delivery and install crew is very efficient, clean, and courteous! We highly recommend Airport and will shop there for any future appliance needs!
Just a great place to go if youre looking for a great deal on a home appliance. I was looking to buy a new refrigerator and I went to many different places which included Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot and then I came to Airport Home Appliance and they had a great inventory of refrigerators which offered a better selection from all the other stores I visited. A sales representative named Melissa came to help me while I was looking at all the different refrigerators and she was so very helpful! She made my buying experience very pleasant. Make sure to ask for her when you go this San Jose store. They also have a large selection of washer and dryers, ovens and even mattresses! The prices at this store are very competitive and I highly recommend Airport Home Appliance! The building to this store may look a little small when you first see it but you will be astonished when you see the amount of inventory Airport has as soon as you walk through the front door. If youre looking for a home appliance, dont forget to stop by this store and look to see what they have before you make any decisions!! You wont be disappointed!!
The freezer in our garage died after 20 years and we needed to replace it. I looked at the website and saw that Airport had the one I wanted. I called and spoke to the excellent Manager Rickey and he had it in stock. I received it in a week and am very happy with it. Its bigger and better than the old one :-) All ready to fill! Service was great, delivery men were wonderful. All in all, an excellent experience.
The sales associate we worked with was super helpful! He listened to what we were looking for and showed us various options. We were able to find a refrigerator based on our needs. The delivery lead time was only a couple days. They removed the old refrigerator and set up the new one without any issues. The whole process from beginning to end was positive, and definitely worth a 5-star rating.
Sales men were smooth talkers and at times seemed dishonest. We did not purchase from here because I kind of felt like I was being swindled. Instead we did go to a store where I knew the people were not paid on commission.
Avoid, avoid….Worst place to buy appliances. Worst in accountability or service. They just take orders and don’t follow on the quality of deliveries or products. We bought a full set of GE Monogram kitchen appliances from the Airport appliance on 5/1/2021 based on theirs sales guys suggestion so that they can FIT into the existing openings. Also said, it will take 4-6 weeks. We paid $23K and expected to come in the worst case in 6 weeks. They started delivering 1 piece at a time unit end of August (thats 16 weeks). Multiple times gave time windows to deliver and missed them wasting my time to wait for hours. We lined up installers to install and as they cannot wait each guy started charging us more than one bundle. Second, each item needed massive changes to cabinets and they are not a simple direct fit to old openings which was the reason we bought (mislead). So far we paid $2800 worth of installation charges and making cabinets looks ugly with cramped up new appliances. We have eaten outside for 10 weeks and stress on us. Their sales guy or manager has no emphathy towards this ordeal. They blame on factory but never tries address the issue. They continue to give wrong expectations as we don’t cancel the order. We went to the store multiple times to find out the status of the order, no one cares or even spends two min once you say you already placed order. Call your sales guy us the answer. Sales don’t want get call or text while he is out. As a customer after paying this much you need to be aware of their schedule, go figure! As they only care you making pay, afterwards they feel like you are sucker. There is no integrity, accountability for these guys other than washing off their hands. One should be accountable for misleading, wasting time for hours of the customers. These guys should be penalized. No manager is even saying sorry vs they don’t want me to text them at odd hours for the info. But they are very comfortable calling us and texting about odd hours and give delivery windows and not show up. Brand new ones has issues, service doesn’t show up for generation. Looking to find where to complain so that can even care.
New gas range that I actually got to touch and see before purchase! Salesman was super knowledgeable and helpful. Delighted with my purchase that BEAT all competitors prices. Delivery was excellent. They have a tracking system that is stellar- updates to half hour window. Couldn’t be happier!
Seriously the best home installation of appliances I’ve ever received. In and out under 45min! So professional, on time according to the text follow up letting me know they’d arrive (I appreciate that system) and all around just knew what they were doing. Excellent, couldn’t recommend them enough! Also I want to mention that I placed the order for my new fridge and washer over the phone and Linda was absolutely great - professional, super informative & knowledgeable.
Airport appliance is the worst dealer to work with that i have ever came across. There customer service is of the utmost disrespect and dis-regard for the customer. They were 3+ months late on the delivery of the fridge i paid over 10k for and didnt have the respect to call and tell me. Then when it did come in finally they wanted to charge me to install a fridge and then to make matters worse they completely dis-regarded my delivery date and they when i told them i wasnt going to be home they scheduled the delivery. This is the worst place to interact with to deal with and to buy so much as a toaster oven i truly hope you have better luck anywhere else besides Airport Appliance
There is nothing quite like having your fridge go out that makes you run to the nearest appliance store and start looking a replacement. After a disappointing experience at Home Depot and feeling quite frustrated with both their service and inventory, a friend suggested Airport Appliance which wasn’t too far. I got to the Airport Appliance store on 966 S Bascom Ave about 20 minutes before they closed. Now to be fair, I had the measurements of what I needed and a idea of what I was looking for. That being said, I walked into their store (mask on) and found myself heading directly to the showroom area that had the fridges. Behind the desk with a smile on his face and a look of total willingness to help, a customer service rep by the name of Nathan Austin greeted me and asked how he could help. Most reps know they have two ears, one mouth and ask the right questions to point their customers in the best direction, and Nathan is that kind of rep. I told him what I was looking for and the first unit he pointed out to me ended up being the one I purchased. I was out of the store five minutes before they closed with a smile on my face and within two days had the perfect fridge in my kitchen. After a long day working with any number of customers who may or may not buy anything, Nathan still came through. He was professional, personal, enjoyable and even made sure to ask if there was any other appliances that I wanted to look at while he was doing the paperwork. As it turns out, there are some more appliances I will needing in the near future and Nathan at Airport Appliance has earned my go to business. I strongly recommend this store!
We used Airport for a client’s dishwasher installation. They were fast, efficient, and performed the haul-away of the old one and installation of the new unit in less than 30 minutes. Highly-recommend this vendor.
After checking the available washing machines at several big-box retailers I went in to check what Airport had to offer. No contest, Airport won hands-down. Some of the same models were significantly less expensive, and they had models no one else offered. Free next day delivery and installation was a big bonus. Probably saved around $200 on a $650 purchase. Ill be back next time I need an appliance (saw some great deals on ranges, as well).

I was in/out in 20m and all my needs were met. I had to replace a failed refrigerator in a fixed size, so my choices were limited. They were able to immediately steer me to something that met my needs. And to top it off, it was delivered and installed the next day!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and Frigidaire freezer here. They know how to take the order. They don’t know how to deliver the order. If you buy from here, make sure you know all the parts you will need to go with your appliance and only buy if you can take it home with you that day. Good prices but horrible customer service.

They dont answer calls or questions left. Never again. Should have gone with Best Buy. I have an update. I had to cancel the order, which made me lose out on a very good 4th of July sale, because they became so untrustworthy and unprofessional. Again, never will I shop with them

Check the website to see if there is anything in stock that may not be in the showroom, if you can’t find what your looking for. I did and was in stock with next day delivery. I apparently missed the window by a few minutes to get it the next day, but I did get the refrigerator delivered and installed the day after the original delivery date. The guys were quick. I would definitely recommend!

I will never shop with Airport Appliance again, they run this business so badly and chaotically! I cannot believe the unprofessionalism. I was told the reason why no one ever communicated with me was because the salesperson in charge of my purchase is FLAKY! So I have missed out on a very good sale that I waited for (4th of July) because of their lack of care and communication. They would not give me the sale price any more once I understood what the problem had been and decided to go ahead with the order instead of cancelling it. Theyre shady. They wouldnt even send me an email to confirm the cancellation of the order, he said just wait two days youll see. LOL Who does business like this? Airport Appliance its 2021 and you need to do better. We purchased all our kitchen appliances with you in the past but never again.
I purchased a fridge from a salesperson who thought it was appropriate to share his political views with me. I brushed it off, and then the installers came.The installers brought a fridge with multiple dents and scratches and brown paint from the stair rails, and when I refused it, they offered 20 percent . I reluctantly accepted, and tried to call my sales person to confirm, but as per usual nobody answered. So I included the deal offered by the Installers on the acceptance paperwork and noted (assuming the fridge works). The installers also clumsily leaned the old fridge doors against my wall, and of course the fell and hit my Electronics.Afterwards I left a message to my Salesperson who is never available to talk, he only exchanged emails. He stated that they never offer 20 percent off, and the best he could do is 10 percent.So now, a day later, I’m sitting on hold (30 minutes) waiting for the manager to pick up, and figured this is a good time to type a review to help anyone else avoid this place.After holding 35 minutes they hung up on me

It can be very difficult to get good service during the pandemic for home appliance replacement. I had dealt with one of the big box stores earlier and had a terrible experience with several weeks of delays, missed delivery windows, and no one answering the phone. This was not the case at all with Airport Home Appliance at all. My refrigerator died this week, I called Airport Home Appliance and we were able to find a suitable replacement that was in stock and was delivered and installed in under two days, and without all the hassles I had when dealing with the big box stores. Its worth supporting a small local business and I was very happy to receive great and prompt service from Airport Home Appliance.

We visited this store for the first time to look for a home appliance. We quietly went in to the section and were looking at them trying to read the details. Ramin an associate of the store greeted us and asked us the reason for our visit,the details and features we were looking for in the refrigerator. He then explained us the different types and showed us the models according to our specifications. We will go to this place again when we look for other appliances.

I paid in full upfront for my dishwasher, but there were no updates for over a month while it was being ordered. I called weekly when I knew my salesperson was working but never got a call back. Absolutely horrendous service. Single star for the ease in scheduling delivery once the appliance finally came in.

STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE Customer Service. We bought a Bosch 800 series dishwasher from them and it stopped working within a week. When we called them, they asked us to call the installation service. When we called the installation service, there was no response and after continuous follow up, they came and told that the appliance needs to be replaced. When we asked Bosch about the faulty appliance, they did not take any responsibility on their side and they told us that they have contacted Bosch and they will get back to us more than a month later. After lot of struggle and follow ups, they replaced us with another dishwasher(but a different model/lower model). Again, we had a same issue with the replaced one also. The newer replaced one was a lower model than the one we got before. Till now, they havent refunded our money back for the faulty one. They do not take any responsibility of the product that they sold and their technicians are also not so knowledgeable and efficient and overall VERY POOR customer service. We ourselves called the plumber and everyone told that theres no issue with the plumbing or draining and its a problem with the dishwasher.Then, we called the customer care of Bosch and they helped us in resetting the dishwasher settings and about sending the technician. All this we have to do on top of paying the hefty installation and appliance price to AA. Cant AA do this or take the ownership in figuring out the root cause or helping to drive the issue resolution quickly!!! We are highly frustrated and will never ever go back to AA in future, if we need any new appliance. Such a HORRIBLE experience!... If theres anything like less than 1 star or 0 star, I wouldve rated that. Even 1 star is high for them.
Delivery and delivery updates were excellent. You did not have to wait around they told you exactly when they were coming. Really appreciated that. Install and pickup went smoothly done in about 45 min....
Did research on the washer and dryer that I wanted, and then waited for a sale at Airport Appliance. Never went into the store because of Covid, but the person I talked with on the phone was honest and thorough in answering my questions. I was able to pick the delivery date, and the drop off and installation was a breeze. The entire transaction was smooth. Ill be needing to upgrade a few more appliances in the future and I will definitely buy from them again.

Airport Home Appliance on Bascom Ave, San Jose has worked with us in obtaining a new refrigerator. We ordered/purchased a US manufactured fridge September 2020. But due to the pandemic, and the specific size we needed we had to deal with manufacturers shortages and cancellations. Meanwhile, Airport Appliance stayed in touch with us and worked at trying to get us a refrigerator. Finally, after about 5 months wait we were offered the floor model at a substantial discount and we took it since the manufacturer had cancelled future models of the size we needed. Furthermore, the delivery was excellent, and we are quite satisfied with our new refrigerator.

Lucky to get my new Miele dishwasher installed in less than a week after I phoned to find out if they have the model I was interested in in stock. Another big appliance center told me the wait was at least until September due to Covid delays. I didnt want to hand wash dishes all summer. So, I was over the moon to get the one I wanted at Airport Home Appliance. We did the whole transaction over the phone. The installation was a breeze. Very fast and courteous service techs.

Wifey and I were leaving Streetlight when I saw that Airport Appliance sold mattresses.We walked in and was immediately greeted by a sales rep (Eddie)We spent about 1/2 of his time discussing our concerns and what types of mattresses would be best for us. Eddie was more than willing to listen to our concerns and not only explain everything to us but also spent the time with us as we got comfortable laying on at least 5 different mattresses. Eddie is a 5 star employee and is NOT a high pressure salesman!So why not 5 stars...well I took 2 stars off because the pillows we used to test the beds were gross (white pillows with dirt from other people lying on them...shower time for me)Hopefully Airport Appliance reads this....just put clean pillow cases on the pillows and when the customers are done, put them in a hamper and wash them. Trust me customers will have a better perception of your business.Otherwise the service and business is aces in my book.

I was contacted by a representative of this firm after a website inquiry. He provided the name of an associate at the San Jose location who I attempt to contact but he never replied. I then contacted the original rep. with some questions about the Wolf range I was interested in but he blew me off. I ended up buying the unit from University Electric and while the experience was less than stellar I ended up having a brand new Wolf GR304 delivered within 2 days. I never envisioned paying $5k for a range but I absolutely love it!
Went in to buy a fridge and look at a oven. was there for 30 minutes, more sales people than customers, not one person asked if i needed help. oh well. on to the next spot with my CASH.
It took quite awhile for me to get the delivery scheduled. I ordered the dishwasher on Saturday and was told that I would get a call for delivery by Wed. I didnt get a call until Friday and they left a message that I could not understand. When I called the number they called from it took my to a voicemail box.On the day of delivery the dishwasher came with water inside which was bizarre, but they claimed that they tested it before bringing it in. When they installed they forgot to hook up one more hose and when we ran the dishwasher water gushed under my sink and ruined the cabinet a bit. Also when the tech was installing the dishwasher, he moved the height up and he didnt see the bracket that was already on the underside of the counter and the nut scratched the panel of the dishwasher a bit.All together I wouldnt recommend Airport Home Appliance, unfortunately. It was a bad experience all together for me personally.

I found the salesperson to be condescending with snippy remarks. I was out of there in 10 minutes. Found my appliances at a better price and professional sales personnel at University Electric in Santa Clara.
My husband and I have outfitted our kitchen with all new appliances during a recent re-model. The quality and prices were the best, and they proved it by looking for items online and if the item was a lower price somewhere else, they told us and gave us the option of purchasing it elsewhere. Our rep Martin is very knowledgeable, and we ended up coming back for a bed and also brought my mother who purchased a number of appliances and received great service as well. The most recent purchase I made was a freezer for the the school where I am employed. They gave me a break on delivery costs because it was for school and delivered very quickly, within 3 days, in time for a large lunch delivery for our students. It was a win-win! They are my go to for appliances, after searching every other major store and appliance outlet, I know I can get anything I need for the best prices and with great service at Airport Appliance.
The delivery team broke my gate .. they didnt even knock on my.front door. I have it all on camera. Then when I complained about it .. they wouldnt even return my callsAbsolute worst
