I ordered a firepit for my clients home in Los Gatos. The firepit took a very long time to arrive due to Covid delays (at no fault of U.O.L.) and it was frustrating waiting so long for it to come in. The U.O.L. staff did their best to keep me up to date and informed on the delays that the manufacturer was having, and never made me feel like I was bothering them when I constantly asked where it was.Once it did come in, they went above and beyond to make my clients experience wonderful with this delivery. My client seemed very happy, and the unit was BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for all of your hard work Kurt and Alejandra!

Very knowledgeable staff and a wide range of products to satisfy pretty much any configuration. Were having an outdoor kitchen put together and its been a very positive experience!

Went for the tile at MAZ Saltillo, good selection, reasonable prices for Mexican hand made tiles. The selection of decorative tiles is especially good.

Bought my outdoor kitchen & bar appliances from Unique about 6 years ago. Alfresco 4 foot grill, big burner, 4 sealed cabinets & big bar sink. 3 FireMagic trash bins & an outdoor under bar refrigerator. All are great and still working. Wish I had a small second sink. Price was the best.

I found these guys terrific. Located in an out of the way location, this family operation is worth a visit before you buy a BBQ or do anything with your outdoor living space. The first time you go to Unique Outdoor Living youll feel like youre off the side of a side road on the way to Alices Restaurant . . . but its worth every turn of your steering wheel because what greets you is a complete outdoor living store set, not surprisingly, mostly outdoors.Better yet, the customer service level offered by proprietor Sean McElhone is peerless. My initial contacts with Sean resulted in a well-designed and equipped barbecue kitchen for our new home, based on a unique aluminum framing system that made it easy for our contractor to assemble and install. Everything was designed well and delivered exactly on time.But there was to be more. We had purchased a gas firepit from another vendor and had a lot of trouble making it work right. The manufacturer, the dealer, and the plumber all threw up their hands claiming no responsibility for the pits unsatisfactory performance.So I called Sean who spent the time to look up the specs and suggest some equipment changes that I could do. That helped but did not completely solve the problem, so he sent his plumber who found the problem and fixed it on a Friday afternoon. Mind you, he had to travel over 35 miles through weekend traffic to get to my place.If you are looking for any sort of outdoor living equipment or ideas, get to Unique Outdoor Living . . . dont stop anywhere else first!

Really loved the store. We did a substantial backyard kitchen project and shopped around a lot. In the end we went with Sean from Unique Outdoor Living because he was not only passionate and friendly, but also had a huge range of brands and pricepoints available.He helped us find just the right setup for our needs.Why i write this review: Everyone can sell a product, but Sean goes the extra mile. Unfortunately one of the heaters we bought had a manufacturing defect and after 6 month burned out. Shawn worked with the manufacturer and got us a free replacement.I was REALLY impressed how Shawn stands by his product, even after the sale!This showed again, going with Unique Outdoor was the right choice!

The staff I talk tho was nice and took its time to explain to me some details I needed to know. They have a good selection of grill to look at in each price category.

Went there to look at outdoor furniture. Their selection is quite limited and you have to order from a catalog. They were very friendly and open about it though.There are some items they sell for unbelievable prices. If you dont mind paying 5 times Home Depot you will get good service and quality.

Sean is great, the office person/phone answer gal is weird.

We just finished remodeling our backyard; complete with a new grill, side burner, heaters and all the appropriate drawers and access doors. Uniques access to all the top performing brands meant it was One Stop Shopping! Thoughout the process Sean was amazing to work with. We pretty much handled everything over the phone and via email. As with any construction project we had a couple of things that changed along the way, and in our case involved returning and/or exchanging a couple of items. Again, this was an extremely easy proces. Anyone looking to purchase outdoor living products should not hesitate to use Unique Outdoor Living. Thanks Sean for all the help!

Big store good selection seemed kinda pricy

Sean has been superb to work with (!) – very friendly (not pushy) and very knowledgeable with very fair prices.I had stopped into BBQ Galore in Palo Alto where we bought a 48in grill 17 years ago. It was clear that this was no longer the place it was in its heyday. So a friend, who had recently bought a Fire Magic grill from Sean, recommended that I go meet with him.We had just moved into a new home with [literally] dirt for a backyard so I had a blank slate to work from. And I wanted a full outdoor kitchen, not just a grill. My setup was to include a grill, refrigerator, sink, cabinets, drawers, and, of course, a custom island built to house all of these items.From the start Sean was great to work with. He helped me design an L-shaped island including exact dimensions I wanted so spacing between items would be perfect (btw: the Greyson aluminum frame with the backerboard product he provides is great. Even our hardscape contractor and granite stone fabricator loved it; I highly recommend it). Together we chose the grill (Alfresco 36in), refrigerator (True) and other components. The process was very efficient and smooth – Sean was very responsive with both cell phone messages and emails – whether from my questions or issues that needed to be addressed. And, as the saying goes, a picture is worth a 1000 words (see Bobs Outdoor Kitchen).I would highly recommend Sean!
