Purchased two recliners, love seat, two end tables, and a coffee table. Tables were not constructed properly and we were not able to get the issues resolved to our satisfaction with Bassett. They were pricey tables and we ended up not getting what we paid for. Would never do purchase from Bassett again due to poor quality issues.

Bought a sofa/chase for $9,500 in Jan. By Oct one of the cushions had the stitching come apart at the edges near the welt. So much for quality. Called the store a few times to get the store manager since its under warranty. Theyre not replacing the whole cushion, just the casing that covers the foam. We have to put the old cushion into the new casing and hope it looks the same as the others. Plus it will take 4 months to get this replacement casing. Didnt take more than 4 minutes to take our money when we bought but its 4 months to wait for warranty replacements. Not exactly the experience I was going for when I plonked down 9K on what I thought would be a premium sofa with premium customer satisfaction

Beautiful, high quality furniture and doable prices. Love that they have designers at your disposal to help you navigate through colors, materials etc!My husband and I purchased a beautiful Sleigh bed. We had such a great experience with our sales associate. She was so knowledgeable with their products, and helped us select the perfect fabric/nailhead trim, and legs for the bed. The bed actually was done and delivered earlier than promised. The delivery and set-up was smooth. We love this bed that we later went back and purchased night stands and lamps. Laura the manager was incredibly helpful too. We are so happy with our purchases, and the quality is as good as it gets.

We love our dining table from Bassett. We ordered a 90” dining table, chairs and bench last November. Padraig was great. He informed me promptly about the delivery. Delivery was on time. Many of our guests also compliment on our dining table. Quality is good!

The store and designs are beautiful however the quality of the furniture is pretty regular considering the price. Bought a recliner that was supposed to be all leather and it started to peel on the armrest after 5 months...the store manager says parts are vinyl And that probably our skin oil is damaging it!! So I guess the recliner is meant to be for decorative purposes exclusively! Not to mention they didnt disclose parts were vinyl.

The store is great. Have great associates to help you to coordinate your design, and with the placement of your order. They followup with you until the product is delivered. I gave one star less, because the delivered produce was defective. The product should not have passed the quality control process of their manufacturing facility.

After enjoying a Bassett sofa that was still in excellent condition after almost 20 years, we decided we wanted a change. We purchased an Ekornes sofa and loveseat at Bassett Furniture off Almaden. Ina was very encouraging and helpful as we chose colors. She kept us updated the whole while we eagerly awaited the furniture. We just got it last week and we are thrilled! I would definitely purchase from Bassett again.

Basset’s furtinure styles and customizing fabrics are great. But be ware of making the right cushion selection. In my case, the couch I sat on in the store and the one I received was drastically harder! The store would not make them softer - even though I offered to pay the extra cost! So I’m stuck without a return policy. Also, if you buy a new mattress there, make sure you tell them to let it breath for a few weeks before delivery — it’s been about 2months and I’m still coughing from the fire retardant fumes! Their response - ‘that’s because we make them to order and wrap the up, unlike our competitors, it shouldn’t be harmful...” How about showing more concern for my worry over toxity and lack of sleep? The service and attention from my sales rep Bobby was great and fun. Wish I was happier with the result... but as she said, the cushions will soften up and the fumes will eventually evaporate...

Great American made furniture for every room. Biggest selection in solid wood furniture in the bay area. Professional and friendly.

We bought a couch from Basset and in under a year the cushions stated to pull up. Of the 6 pillows we have, at least 5 have rips and the cushion is coming out. Even the cushions are smashed and longer take the right shape. We have called and complained and Bassett will not fix this issue. They even told us we should get a fabric tool a de-pill the fabric. Dont buy anything from these guys.

Lots of great furniture, really got some good help from the designer. Store manager also took time to check on how things were going while we were finishing the purchase process.

They have a big store there, and have many selections. But most of them are d fashion, and looks just so so for the similar price furnitures. If you are looking for contemporary furnitures, they will disappoint you.

Put a refundable deposit down on a bedroom set. A few days later decided on another set from a different store. Went in to cancel my order. Rick the salesperson assured me my $800 deposit would ne returned to my credit card. Over a month later, many emails and calls to the store, and still no refund. Buyer beware!

Horrible! We had just the same experiences like Bob, put a so called refundable deposit down on a whole set of bedroom and living room stuff. After reading so many horrible reviews about Bassett furniture, we decided to stay away from them and cancel our pre-order. No surprise, the same salesguy named Rick played all kinds of tricks and refused to refund. Buyers, stay away from this hole!
