We have been customers of B&J Transmissions for about 20 years. Alex and the crew are very knowledgeable, dependable and honest.We currently own a 2016 Toyota Tacoma that started to have a transmissions problem. The Toyota dealership said (according to computer test), the transmission need to be replaced and that the parts would be $6000. We immediately took the truck to see Alex. Alex took the time to research and communicated a different solution he wanted to try. That solution worked and was a fraction of what the dealer ($$$$) wanted.On a five star review, we give B&J Transmission and Alex 10 stars for exceeding expectations!

These guys are the best! I would highly recommend this place because I had gone to other places that said I needed a new transmission so could charge me more money. B & J did a test drive and basically let me know what needed fixing and just replaced what needed to be replaced without trying to overcharge me. They are HONEST and do a great job!

One of my worse experience with a shop ever. There is no sense of direction as the mechanics seem to do whatever kind of service they want without any instructions to do certain jobs. I went in to have my differential rebuilt on my 06 mustang. Since the begging of our original agreement I provided all the parts I wanted replaced in my differential including axle, abs ring, axle bearings and seals, and upgraded 3.73 gears with Terminator diff. In the car I also had 6 quarts of engine oil and filter as I had already made an appointment with another shop to have it done. Throughout my rearend rebuild the people I originally talked to in which they Quoted me $300 which seemed like an awesome deal as other shops quoted me up to $1200. I am on a tight budget and decided to try them out. 3 days later they gave me a call and told me additional repairs had to be done and overall got Quoted $950. They just seemed to have been adding me hidden fees to try to recover from the original price. 5 days later they gave me another call to tell me the car was done. I arrived and and began to inspect how the job came out. I noticed they did not install the rear axle and then decided to do the oil change on the car instead. I asked why they did it without my permission or even notified me and his exact words were its your fault that I shouldnt have such items in my own car . I ended up paying half of that price by bringing my own differential. This is not an honest shop by any means and would not recommend it to anyone.

Delivered my 2000 Silverado pickup truck to B & Js making very loud transmission noise & rough driving. Within a day, they accurately pinpointed the cause, a broken rear driveline yolk, and showed & explained the specific part on my driveline. They ordered a new part and the next day my truck was running like new again, smooth and quiet. Originally I thought I would need a new transmission but instead it was significantly less in cost. They are very fair and I recommend them for any transmission service.
