We purchased a 2018 accord hybrid. Love the car. Got the cardoc with it. Its great if you stay local. Not so much if you dont. We didnt stay local. So, that stinks. Highly recommend you consider this.The service and staff seemed about on par with what youd expect at any dealership.

We leased Honda CRV in May. We wanted automatic payment from our checking account, so  salesman took us to Seans office who is finance manager.  After some paperwork he said everythings all done it will be going out of our checking account automatically.  3 months later we found out it was not done right so we ended up paying late fees.  And we found out our credit score went down from 800 to 652.  I called Ocean Honda to talk to Sean but I talked to another finance manager and I was told Sean is sick and I should call back after one month.  I called again to talk to another finance manager and I left message on her machine.  She called back and left message saying  theres nothing she can do.  Talking about after service I am very disappointed.

This dealer advertises prices that are much lower than their intended true selling price. They REQUIRE every vehicle be sold with a dealer-installed $1700 GPS tracker and $800 paint protect, both of which are royal price gouges. (Go look on Amazon for a GPS tag for instance) The tactic is to get you in, get the deal 90% done before you notice these items, or you just dont care when you see them. But on a 25k car, thats a 10% price increase for nearly valueless items for the buyer.

Beware of Daniel Kashi. Hes a seemingly honest guy, but he ran our credit 1)without our permission 2)without having negotiated a price or monthly payment. He then acted innocent as if this were common practice among dealers. Admittedly, it is a pretty sneaky strategy to gain leverage on your customer, but it is quite a dirty one at that. Hell casually ask for your personal information while talking to you about options on the car, and next thing you know he ran your credit so if you dont buy the car youll not only leave without a car but with a lower credit score. Theres really no hard feelings, but this is simply a warning for the next person in line.

I bought a certified pre-owned Civic 2018 and as many of the other reviews stated when you go in there to buy a car they make the process smooth. The sales rep I was at the table with was Sasha, very easy to talk to. Like most dealerships they try and hit you with surplus charges such as 3m door protectors and some GPS app. But this is where my negative experience comes into play, 3 months later my battery needs replacing and they tried to sneak in payments that we agreed I did not sign off on in the same time frame. When I called they were unhelpful, rude and pushed me off the phone until I pestered them enough to speak to a finance associate. Finally, they did not submit my insurance to the DMV and legally they I am not allowed to drive off the lot without proof of insurance. Overall, my past experience at Carvana was so much easier than negotiating and dealing with these ridiculous issues I simply should not have to deal with 3 months after buying the vehicle.

We bought a pre-owned Civic for our son at Ocean Honda. Our sales associate, Vahid, was excellent. Vahid is very attentive and thorough. Really a breath of fresh air. 5 stars for Vahid.The dealership gets a generous 2 stars. Like many dealerships in this tight supply market Ocean Honda pre installed useless extras (a GPS system for $1,695 and 3M door handle and edge material for $695) totaling $2,390. Its their way of gouging the customer. I refused to pay for the GPS (they deactivated or removed it) and conceded on the 3M as time is more valuable to me than $695. My tint shop would install that little bit of 3M material for under $100.Additionally, when agreeing on the price with Vahid the price was to include the usual things like tax, title/registration, and DMV transfer fees. Well, when we got to finance we learned that the tags on the car are good through January of 2022 but they still attempted to slip that charge past us. I noticed their dishonesty, questioned it, and they removed it. If it werent for Vahid my wife and I would have walked out. When dealing with this dealer my recommendation would be to go test drive the car and then go home. Negotiate the deal from home so you dont waste a day buying a car.Lastly, if Im ever in the market for another Honda I will remember that the dealership gouges its customers and go elsewhere.

In response Karum insisted on having my phone number and get on a call to proceed. Seriously? I have no desire to talk to sales people from half a dozens postings I responded to. Amazing that these days a dealership still have no clue how to do business online. Its been decades since I had to set foot in a dealership or spent time on phones to find the car I want.

I work near ocean Honda and did an online app. My husband and I were called back within 5 minutes to come down. We came in after work and was helped by Robert Deleon. Robert was wonderful in letting us know our options. He showed us a used and new car. My husband and I thought we would only be approved for the used car but Robert was able to get us in a brand new one. Once we found out that we were approved for the new car and were doing our paperwork we were speaking with the entire staff that was there on a Saturday evening and everybody was as helpful as possible to make this purchase as painless as possible as well as a great experience for us. Even the finance guy was cracking jokes with us and making us feel at ease. The managers that were on duty were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this place to all my friends. To be completely honest I didn’t like the experience I had there. I helped my sister pease a car and everything had already been filled out for me. They already had my ID and Social Security information they obtained from my sibling without me even being present. And it showed me that the guy that helped us out was willing to do anything to get a sale.(Jorge) He also tried telling me that the person leasing and the co-signer is the exact same person. Which it really isn’t. I still went ahead and helped my sister get the car cause she was really happy with it. And in the morning Nd he pretty much asked us to leave a good review. I just hope my sister really enjoys the car. Sorry but this is how I really feel about that. I’m not saying everyone there is like that but that’s my personal experience.

We had been looking for a new Honda accord. We needed to trade our lease in (from a different honda) and wanted to make a purchase this time. We found all the staff at Ocean extremely welcoming and helpful. When we walked up someone was there to open the door for us asked us how we could help and had Aoede take care of us. I wanted a pretty specific accord only in 1 color. I was feeling a bit disappointed that I couldnt find it on the lot. Well I guess I wasnt looking hard enough cause when I told Aoede that I wanted the Sport se special edition in red told me to hold on a moment. He went away for about 5 minutes and found it. He knew he had it and wanted to be sure it would be ready for me. Sadly that day I had to leave to get to work on time but told them I would be back in the morning to finish the paper work. They held the car for me, he came in to work early to be sure everything was ready for me when I arrived. He even had the car,even tho it had 4 miles on it, fully detailed. Wow all the brand new cars I have purchased Ive never had that. They always were just washed. The whole process was so smooth. It was the easiest car purchase I have ever made. We met Irwin and Chris in the service department and I know I will be bringing my car there for service. I was met with smiles and left with the car I wanted. Went in for a recall repair on my doors on a 2019 Odyssey. When I got it back the doors wont close or latch I work as they were supposed to have it all. They worked fine when I took it in but after the recall work was done they did not work at all. Hopefully they will fix this issue

This place is horrible to deal with. They only work when selling you a car. If they are required to do anything else they will be rude and incredibly disrespectful. They will not follow through or do the job they are being paid to do.

My husband and I were very pleased in the beginning once we bought our new 2020 Honda Pilot. Now I am not very happy and wish we would of took our service to a different Honda dealership. They did not do their job properly when it came to us trading in our old car. Now they will not stop harassing us. They want us to pay for their mistake and I personally think it’s their fault because they should of asked better questions and did all their leg work before accepting the old car. Now that I look back on our experience, they aren’t there to help you find what you need like they say they are. They are only there to pick your pocket and make a sale. They have changed our contract on us because they didn’t give us the proper discounts like they should have. It has been a back and forth with these people since we bought the car. Got my 2006 Civic EX coupe serviced last month, and as usual Ocean Honda keeps me happy. I much prefer it over Norm Reeves because they are very nice and give me a loaner car when they work on my lovely Hondarita Carlita. The prices are a bit higher than your local guy but I consider it a great trade-off for the loaner car and peace of mind.Brandon was especially nice, communicative, and fair this past December when I came in. He did not pressure me, was open and honest, and was a pleasure to talk to.I also never get pressured to buy a new car when I come in, which has at happened to me at other dealerships. My 14 year old car has almost 150k miles on it, and they are very supportive of her going 100k more. Ocean Honda and Brandon are worth the extra drive and money, hands down. They also have great food- sandwiches, cookies, coffee, and fruit. Friendly people and a chill environment.Norm Reeves wouldnt even uphold my paint warranty ten years ago, but Ocean Honda goes above and beyond every time.
