Salesman Raj is FANTASTIC! Started off looking & inquiring online for vehicles. Received an email right away inviting to come look in person! Drove over in the day and took test drives of different vehicles. Dealership is Sparkling clean. Staff is patient and Raj took great care of me. I never felt stressed or pressured. Made it right, I had my 2019 Sprinter in for a recall and when they had the seat out they may have inadvertently bumped something that made the power controller on the coach malfunction. After contacting the service manager they dispatched a RV service company to come check it all out, the problem seemed to self resolve and I am back in business. Hats off to a company that stands behind their work, Great job, highly recommend .

So I brought my sprinter in at 7:45 and was out by 12:30. A long time for a replacement hose. I was told about an hour. I sat there in the lobby for almost five hours. Would have liked to have gotten breakfast or something. But the real issue is with the fact that they didn’t put the radiator drain plug on properly after draining the fluid and it caused my to lose all fluid while on the freeway home. We were almost stranded and had to be towed. They also overfilled the oil triggering the oil indicator which caused us to have to pull over as well. And after all that they charged me over 400 bucks for maybe a 200 dollar job. Thumbs down.

Alfano Motors is the worst car dealership I have ever visited. I made an appointment in advance to view a specific car in order to be sure it was ready to be viewed. They assured me the car would be brought up front and ready for viewing.Instead when I arrived, the car had not been brought up front. A sales man went back to behind the sales lot and returned to me stating the car would be brought up front in a few minutes.Instead I saw the car being driven off the grounds. I apprised the sales person and he changed his story stating the car had been driven downtown to be fueled and washed.Observing that the car wasnt ready and that the story was changing I asked the salesman if I should come back when the car was ready for viewing. The salesman told me No, it will be back in a few minutes.When the car was not returned in a few minutes, I asked to the sales manager. The salesman became angry saying Of course you want to see the sales manager!I spoke to the sales manager and he defended everything the staff had done without talking to them. The salesperson walked in and falsely claimed that I had cursed which did not happen at any point. The sales manager then ordered me to leave.I was ordered to leave because I dared to politely complain about the poor service I received. I only wanted to buy a specific car, but instead I was verbally abused and refused service. Worst service I received at any business anywhere!

I will never give less than 5 star for any business, we all need a chance to make things better. I want the best for all businesses. But my experience with this dealership has not been good at all. Starting with financing took to long, delivery of the car took almost a month, i was promised that I will get the $1,000 delivery fee refunded several times, as of today 8 months later nothing happened. I have sent photos that the vehicle was deliver with seats damaged from some green stuff maybe they did forget the window opened, purchasing Mercedes S450 new should be a beautiful experience and new car should be in mint condition, no the car was not delivered on time, was not financed on time, was not delivered on mint condition and as of today I have not heard back from dealership, i have exchanged a lot of text, emails phone calls and Facebook messages. The biggest issue I currently have, i can not register my new car in Texas and pay the sales Tax because the dealership has not sent me the documents I will need to register the car. I got so tired with this new car in 8 months I have no temporary plates to drive the car, no registration. Please guys if someone has issues like this dealership this size should fix things very quick. I have no idea what to do now. I am trying to trade the vehicle and i can not trade because the vehicle its not register in my name. Please guys take this serious and call me back. Another optional product i wanted to cancel called XZILION I was told that i can not cancel because the product was applied to my vehicle. I have no idea how this product was applied to the vehicle or how that product works. But the most important its the registration for me. Hope someone will listen and try to fix the issue today. If not I will have to get the legal way, will cost me money but I need to take care of all this issues.

After searching well over a year for a used Sprinter I finally gave up and decided to order one new. I had two particular ‘unusual’ desires, a 4x4 and a ‘low’ roof. I need the 4x4 and the low roof is critical for my parking needs as the high roof is too tall.Since I live in the Bay Area I began my search at the local Dealerships but most had very limited stock. A Dealer across the Bay in Fremont had a ‘cargo’ version of the van I wanted (I was looking for the ‘crew’ model) so I went to look at it and inquire about ordering a van.The salesperson who took me for a test drive knew little to nothing about Sprinter vans. So little, in fact that he tried to fill it up with gasoline while we were out on the test drive…I could not believe how hard it was to find a Mercedes Dealership with a salesperson who knew anything about their own product!Moving on I started asking friends with vans where they bought theirs and if they had any recommendations. One of my buddies said that there are some dealers who specialize more in Sprinters. I remember seeing a number of Sprinters in the lot at the Dealership in San Luis Obispo on a recent drive to Santa Barbara so I decided to try calling them.I was connected to a salesperson at Alfano Motorcars Mercedes Benz Sprinter who knew far more about these vans than anyone else I had spoken to by far. Not only did he fully understand and appreciate the need for the van to be 4x4 with a low roof but he was able to describe and discuss virtually every single option and variation. He even sent a lengthy pdf that went over in detail with photos every single option that can be chosen for this van. We carefully reviewed all of these options and created an initial ‘build’. After thinking more about a few of the options we tweaked the build a little and placed the order for the van. I think I selected virtually every single available option except the headlights that turn with the steering…I was told the van was scheduled to be built in October and arrive a month or two later.This was four months ago.Two weeks ago I contacted my salesperson to ask about the schedule. He called back and said the Van was finished and on it’s way. A week ago he called to tell me it had arrived. We made a plan for me to pick up the van that Friday at 11 am and to do as much of the paperwork, etc. necessary ahead of time. I was going to pay cash so I started pulling together the roughly $80,000 I would need.I live four hours away and needed someone else to come and drive with me so I decided to make it an impromptu short vacation and took Wednesday through Friday off work. The plan was to drive down Wednesday, past the Dealership in SLO, and stay a couple of nights in Santa Barbara before heading back and collecting the van on the way.Three days off work and two nights in Santa Barbara may seem a bit over the top as a celebration for the new purchase but I was really looking forward to it. At 55 and after buying countless vehicles over the years, many new, this was going to be the very first new vehicle I ever bought for myself. I was pretty excited.On Wednesday afternoon, two days after calling to tell me the van had arrived and after I had already arrived in Santa Barbara, the salesperson called to tell me the wrong van had shown up. It had a high roof.“What do you want me to do?” he asked.What do I want you to do? Seriously? I want you to figure out what it will take to get the van I ordered here, how long it will take, and what you plan to do to make this up to me, I told him.Then he sent me a photo of the van (with the tall roof). Apparently when he called to tell me my van had arrived two days earlier he never even went to look at it… Not that day, or the next and not until the next day did he take the time to even look at my van.This was last Wednesday. We had an appointment for Friday that (obviously) I did not keep.The salesperson has not reached out to me since in any way. Not once. Not at all.

Jorge and Kevin really worked hard with the bank so that we could get approve for my camaro 2021 ss and it took a week to get a respond from the bank and which was great after 5 years im able to get one of my dream car but I its a bummer I wanted a Wild Cherry one and they didnt have it but the color that I chose was the only auto w/sunroof and I appreciate that Jorge and Kevin helped us out thank you I recommend that you go get a new car at Alfano

Jorge (Sales) and Mike (Financing) were the absolute worst! Do not do business with this slimy place.The test drive experience was fine, and I set up an appointment to come back and purchase the vehicle. When we arrived they said they had to print paperwork (shouldnt that already be done if we had an appointment?). The showroom was absolutely empty, and they had us sit and wait for over 30 mins before Mike finally came over and said oh I saw you sitting here and thought Id get you started. Its all a big song and dance to wear you down. He then started pushing us way too hard on the extended warranty. I politely declined several times and he finally moved on with the process. Then he came back to it and started telling us how much we needed this BS warranty. It was so frustrating for someone who actually knows what theyre doing, I was about to walk away at this point due to the slime-ball tactics being used. Alfano, please recognize that your customers are not idiots and accept a straightforward deal instead of wearing them down. The entire purchase process took over 2 hours because they kept stepping out of the room and making us wait and overselling add-ons we didnt want. I will never be back to this dealership and advise all to stay away.

First I want to say that the employees are all very nice and courteous. I called for a service appointment on 10/20/2020 for my 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500. I booked the appointment for 10/26/2020. Arriving at 9:00 AM, I wanted to wait while it was being diagnosed for the check engine light and was told they could give me a ride home because it Might be a long wait. I accepted the ride. It was a very nice, clean vehicle with a very friendly driver. By 5:00 PM, I hadnt heard anything, so I called. Romer returned my call and informed me they hadnt looked at it and would need to keep it overnight. Since its my only vehicle, and I live in it, I said I would pick it up and bring it back the next day. He informed me if I did that, I would have to start all over at the back of the line, and the same thing would happen the next day. I reluctantly agreed to leave it overnight. Same thing happened the next day. When he returned my call that day, he said they would need it another night. On the third day, Wednesday Oct, 28, 2020, I was told they needed to order a part that would be delivered on Thursday or Friday at the latest. We agreed that I would pick up the vehicle and bring it back when the part arrived. I asked Romer for a military discount, and he said, Yes, its 5%. When I went in to pickup the vehicle, Josh told me that their military discount is 10%. He also offered another 10% discount to make up for having to go without my vehicle for 2 days. I thought this was great, and at this point, I felt OK about Alfano. One of the issues I wanted addressed was the dashboard storage box lid was broken, and I wanted it replaced. Romer quoted me $199 for the part and a total of $500 to replace it!!! I found the part online for $155 and replaced it myself (no prior Sprinter experience and no torx bit) in 30 minutes. I never got a call saying the part was in for the blower motor. I left a message for Romer on 11/3/2020 and never received a return call. The next day, I called Josh (I think hes a service manager). He called me back saying the part was there, but it hadnt been entered into the system, so I didnt get a call. I requested a refund at that time. Since I didnt have them do further work on my vehicle, I didnt get a military discount at all! I wont be going there EVER AGAIN.

I took my car to be serviced at the dealership after waiting for over 2 months . once there I was shocked to see NOT A SINGLE PERSON WEARING A MASK OR PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. Not in the service department or the sales department . The service department work was fine and the staff helpful and cordial but the heath of customers and staff really should be addressed

I would NOT purchase a vehicle from Alfano again. There were a few detail issues on the truck we purchased but Raj was great. He fixed everything and had the truck back to us fully detailed and in mint condition in a week. However, never got my extra car payment refunded for $526 on the car we traded in that was autopayed a few weeks after trade- in. And got to drive a POS from their lot for a week while the truck was being fixed. That experience took me back to high school days. Since I already paid the money on my previous car for the month I wish I could have just driven that instead of their POS car. It’s 2 months later and enough time for Alfano to have refunded me the money.

He helped us throughout the entire process remotely and was a pleasure to deal with in person.My husband wanted a very custom build and they were the only dealership to have it! On top of that, the manager offered us specials & trade-in values that made the deal totally worth the drive!He worked hard to earn our business and was in touch with us the entire time. I was going through a rough time with some issues I was having with my vehicle. As many might know, purchasing a new vehicle can be stressful. I choose Alfano Motorcars in San Luis Obispo and I can honestly say it was the best choice I could have made. I spoke to Ali Khan who helped me find the right car, at a convenient monthly payment for me. Update: Changing from 2 stars to 1 star.Mercedes Financial called me back to let me know that Jacob and his manager refused to cover the last payment. The rep at Mercedes Financial spoke to his supervisor and Mercedes Financial is taking care of the last payment to make this right. I would highly suggest that in the future Alfano try and at least understand the perception of the customer instead of outright refusing to honor something that in my opinion was implied before I even purchased the new car. Its ridiculous that they would prefer I drive an hour and half for a $50 tank of gas (which would cost me $20 in gas round trip) rather than pay a $140 payment. Im never going up there as I have no reason to drive that far to get gas, which means they lost me, anyone I might have referred and got a bad review all over $90.Update: Changing from 5 stars to 2 stars.When I called to inquire about the new car Jacob clearly asked me when the lease on my current vehicle ended. When I said I had one payment left he responded that it would be no problem. Ive turned in many leases that only had 1 or 2 payments left and Ive always had the dealership pay off the lease since I was either leasing or buying another vehicle from them. Anyway, to make a long story short, I got a bill for the final payment, called and left a message with all the details so they could correct their oversight, then got a call back from Jacob telling me I must have misunderstood him. Why would I not have waited 3 more weeks to finish out my lease when I only had one payment left if I wasnt sure the dealership would pay the last payment? The payment was only $140...and on top of that the dealership owes me a tank of gas since my new car had less than a quarter tank when I drove off the lot. I live about an hour and half away from the dealership so there is no way Im driving up there to fill my tank. And to really get me ticked off, Jacob mentioned they did me a huge favor in letting me mail them my second key for the car I turned in...but were pretty much square on that in my eyes since they forgot to give me the second key for my new car and had to mail it to me. So for less than $100 they now have an offended and disappointed customer. I didnt want to get into an argument with Jacob so I hung up. Ive called Mercedes Benz Financial to let them deal with it._______________________________________________________________________Original review:I called to come in and turn in my leased vehicle and also purchase a CPO C250 that I had pretty much already decided on. I spoke with Jacob a few times over the phone in advance and then drove up from Santa Barbara to work with him to purchase the car shortly after. Although he was new to the dealership he was very hospitable, honest, professional and quick. Was literally the fastest vehicle transaction Ive ever experienced which is amazing considering I was also turning in a lease. Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful and went out of there way to accommodate me. I absolutely love my car and I 100% recommend them if you are in the market for a Mercedes!

I appreciate how Justin handled me throwing at him the I have no clue what I was looking for. He was relaxed, non-annoyed, no pressure & in no rush. Most of all I really appreciate Justin not dumbing down car/engine talk with me & treating me like I feel he would have treated a potential male client. You wouldnt guess by looking at me but a feminine looking woman that has been trained as both an automotive & diesel mechanic. Too many females HATE to shop for vehicles by themselves due to being taken advantage of & being treated as if we are clueless. I have a new Yukon, it was in for service Wednesday. My wife drove it home so I just saw this Saturday. When she took the paper mat cover off, the one so you dont get grease on the mat or carpet. The mat was all greasy, terrible!!! I mean sick!!! I know this car only costs $66,000.00 !! The service lady in the Chevy show room is great and very professional. Check engine light came on. Stopped in and they said I needed appointment. Went inside to wait and there was no one available to set up the appointment. Waited way to long with no assistance and left. Will handle by phone so I dont waste my time but they need to do better on staffing intake.Update. Went home called and left phone number for service to call. At 1PM gave up and called local German Auto Works. They answered the phone and set up an appointment. Well stick with them from now on.

These folks will tell you want you want to hear get the car off the lot. Later they will call you back saying you dont qualify for original terms... predatory lending. sales guy gave me the behind the scenes in text telling us the dealer must pay a fee to give us a 84 month loan. We negotiated the terms and price, everything was signed at 84mo at 0%. They called us back a few days later telling us we dont qualify for the 84 mo program and only the 72 month deal would work. The dealer would not stand behind what the sales guy said in text. The sales manager also told us over text that we could return the vehicle if we didnt like the new terms. we tried to return the vehicle but they wouldnt take it back. dont trust these guys.

I was leery about buying a car because of my credit, because I thought beforehand I would not qualify. I didnt plan on buying at all, but I was passing by and on a whim I decided to stop in. Jacob made the experience of looking at cars seamless, and he inspired me to take the plunge, Im resolving some credit issues and plan to come back as soon as thats done! I bought the best truck EVER here and the team went way over and above to give me not only the deal I wanted but to find the truck, make me happy, help me when I forgot materials (I was SO nervous! I forgot my updated insurance card!), and just make me feel like I was in great hands.And I was. I cant believe the truck I got and the deal.And I drove a long way to get to Alfano. The local dealers were jerks---Alfano was patient and represented everything in its honest form. Thats how its supposed to be.Yelp needs more stars. I wish I could give them 10.Parking is great, the team is friendly and patient, the facility feels homey, and they get you in and out as quickly as youd like. Not pushy, but it also didnt take me all day!I would love for people to ask me where to go to buy a car or truck (ALFANO!!). I have nothing but nice things to say.

Recently bought a E350 CPO convertible from these folks. We recently moved to Nipomo from Los Angeles, and are amazed how friendly people are. We worked with Leo and Justin, and they were great. I knew little of the various options in the Mercedes-Benz line of car, so my learning curve was greater than most person who walk onto the Alfano lot here in San Luis Obispo. Jacob Sotelo did an excellent job in giving me ample time and information so that I could test drive and determine which model was the right one for me. I met with Michael Escalle and it was a great experience. I was able to drive a 2017 GMC Sierra and really loved it although it was a bit out of my price range. Michael took me around to many other cars for about an hour and answered all my questions. I will try to make this short. I drive a C250 Mercedes 2014, purchased used at Alfano Motors in 2014 with 10,000 miles on it. I recently was told that it needed a new Turbo (36,000 miles). My warranty ended Nov 30 - I was at the dealership on Dec 10. Mercedes good willed the part, I was supposed to pay the labor (still expensive). Well, good news the state of California has a Vehicle and Emissions Warranty Act with specifications. They paid for the labor. Yahoo. I big shout out to Alfano Motors in San Luis Obispo and Dan Tanabe for following through with everything. A very pleasant experience and I am telling everyone.
