The customer service is amazing. The place is well Maintained and secured. If you can, ask for the original key lock, some of the units have the smart app, and sometimes the app doesn’t work at the gate.. causing a bit of frustrations but it always eventually works.

My storage unit in Santa Ana on 4th Street is a perfect size for my needs. James and Juan were very helpful. The spaces are kept neat and clean.

Clean, affordable and the on-site guy named James is super awesome. Had a problem with the lock system when they first switched over and he was very attentive and responded promptly to remedy the problem. Which reminds me, the app based lock system is very very convenient.

James was super helpful. I’ve used Extra storage one before and it is a smooth process with great amenities for a good price.

Im very pleased with the rental unit that I have yeah only criticism that I would give this place is the speed bumps that you must cross when the gate opens. Im always afraid its going to cause my car to break. But the rental price every month is on a par with the other places locally and theres no stairs theres all ground floor rental units.

When I arrived at the property Juan was preparing to close the office for the evening. I wasnt sure what size unit I would need so, he showed me three before making my decision. We had a nice conversation about the property and why I chose Extra Space Storage and this particular location before going back to the office to do the paperwork. Juan was very thorough, explaining the price options available, and I was very satisfied with the final agreement. As, sometimes, mistakes do happen, when I arrived home I realized Juan had, inadvertently, stapled another clients receipt to my paperwork. When I returned to the office this morning I was introduced to the on-site manager and we all had a good laugh about what happened, as Juan gave me the correct receipt. The personnel are very personable and I was on my way home within a few minutes. I am very satisfied with the service I have received and am looking forward to utilizing the property for storing my belongings. :)

We’ve had a small 5x5 unit at Extra Space Storage for a year and recently moved up to a 10x20. We’ve never had a problem with rodents or theft. Joaquin in the office was so helpful and accommodating to work with both with our initial leasing and now with our transfer. Everything was so easy and we feel like our property is secure.

10/30/2019I was reminded today of why I store my things with extra space. Everything about the place, the rates are decent enough, the hours to access my unit, awesome....Most important though, great job shout out to Joaquin and Juan for the ease of everything. Always extra relaxed knowing he and Juan look after that property. My stuff is there, who else would I pay to keep it safe. No other.....Professionals in their field for sure.

He switched me from one unit to another and replaced my lock at no extra charge. I got a good deal and a great customer service. The older negative postings seem to be from a time of different management. Things seems to have changed for the better since then.

What a clean storage facility, and wonderful people to deal with! Polite and ready to help, the young manager is quite an asset to the company, well spoken and informative as well. I have been there well over a year and would hate to have to move to another! So here I am staying!

Very quick and simple customer service. Prices are fair and location was very convenient. Most importantly, super organized and extremely well kept facility. Of course a storage unit can get dusty, but the units and the environment are very well maintained. Also, I’ve had previous storage experiences where I’ve been hassled when leaving, bombarded with questions about why I was leaving, and treated unfairly, but Joaquin was extremely kind and quick to get me out of the system. Seriously, like less than 3 minutes in and out. All of the employees there were very helpful and friendly my entire stay. Will be coming back here when in need of a storage unit again.

Great Technology and great services

Had a very pleasant experience renting out a storage unit from these guys. When I moved in the manager Eric was really patient and went through the different size storage units with me trying to find the best option for me. Every time I called through my 3 months there about questions or concerns Eric was extremely helpful. Best customer service Ive had. The unit itself was clean and really easy to load and unload everything since I got a side unit where you park next to it. Super easy move in and move out. Thanks again ESS and Eric!

Thank god i didnt get bothered today, even thoe i have to find a new storage place cuz st...! Kid said they wont take my next payment, got to leave by the 11th of july. Bummer!!

The experience we had when we were trying to get a unit was super. The gentleman working there was quite nice, and very informative. We were able to go in rent out of unit and get out within 25 minutes, and we never thought Rush. The manager was nice enough to explain everything, and even asked if we had any questions prior to us actually going into our unit. I remember renting a unit here a long time ago and it was definitely different ownership, Im glad I came back.

We needed a unit for our business and this was perfect. We got Lucky it’s down the street, but the young man was so helpful and the facility is clean and organized. We felt safe leaving our items and it was easy to get in and get out! You can access 7 days a week which is much appreciated.

The staff here so friendly and very knowledgeable. When I was first looking for unit I looked and called many places, and it seemed as the only really care when youre in person as you have a guaranteed sale. I called and was given all of the information needed prior to actually driving there. Awful privacy settings. I receive monthly emails from this Extra Storage regarding an upcoming due date and thank you payment emails for one of their customers there, even though I have never held a unit there before or know the individual. I have called and emailed them on several occasions to inform them of the mistake, to which they promise to fix but within a few weeks I get a new email.
