Very large mall compare to great mall and other sounding area . Lots and lots options for all kind of shops . There are multiple shop for all kind of categories like diamond, kids clothes, men clothing, womens clothing, kids accessories, makeup, you name it and you have the shop there . Very huge food court and lots of seating area. Inside decorations are also good and you will see security all over. Restrooms are clean . Best part - same category shop is put together with all possible vendors. Like one section with all makeup related shop and one with all diamonds related. Lots of parking inside and out side . Parking area has red/green light to identify as full/empty spots. You need lots of time to cover the whole mall.. surrounding area also have lots of other shops and good downtown walk for evening . Overall fun place to visit /shoping.
Very lux shops and some great restaurants. Im not a big mall shopper. Pleasantly surprised that even with the empty shops how they chose to utilize that space with murals and fun things throughout the mall.My negative was parking, the lot has colored lights supposed to indicate open parking spaces yet there were none even when there were green lights and the parking lot was just very chaotic I would use valet in the future and not try to deal with parking garage
The service was excellent. I didn’t get to try the restaurant upstairs during opening week since they were fully booked. So I recommend making reservations. By the way, to access the restaurant you have to go into the mall and it is located on the second floor. The lounge is on the ground floor and can be accessed via the streets.I did get to try the cocktail lounge, my favorite thing was the green onion pancake. The chicken entree is served cold which felt odd. I would have preferred it hot or warm in temperature.I hope they further develop the food menu in the cocktail lounge.I only tried one cocktail and I also hope they can improve their cocktail menu. Like having a lychee martini with real lychee or a passionfruit cocktail. There’s so many unique Asian flavors that they should experiment with.I’ll definitely go back to try the restaurant. Also, the restaurant closes at 9pm but the lounge closes one hour later than the restaurant. So the business hours are not accurate for the lounge.
Very upscale mall with a lot of expensive brands. The place is very nice and clean. Plenty of sitting area for you to rest. It is anchored by Macys, Nordstrom and bloomingdales. There is a food court and several restaurants scattered in the mall. The food court reflects the heritage of the area with plenty of Asian options. There is a cheesecake factory and shake shack. You can also opt for a movie at ICON theater. Worth the drive from SF or east bay. Would come again.Would give 5 stars except for the still empty stores yet to open and the need for more food options for this size mall.
Still lots of construction! However, we can see the building of the new restaurants and shops. ❤️ the outdoor areas. Beautiful! Parking is tough to find. Come early or use the valet 😁
Great, modern shopping mall in San Jose, CA. They just renovated it.I always shop here for good clothing, shoes, hangout to see nice place with glamorous modern decorations, nice food court where you can have good food and good time with friends and family. Its a little pricey but its worth your time and money.I also like their parking structure where they installed the electronic sign to show available parking spots. Its not Wynn Casino parking in Vegas but its something like that.Well if you happen to be in San Jose need a quick elegant shop and quick bites, you gotta be in Valley Fair.
I took my two daughters to the Apple store to get a few accessories. I knew the store was moving to a new location, but was surprised to find out that they moved already. The new store is big, bright and busy. Currently you need a reservation to go into the store. It is definitely the flagship store for the Bay Area. After our visit to the Apple Store, we checked out the new expansion to Westfield Mall. They did a good job. The expansion is in the front of the mall facing Stevens Creek Blvd where the parking garage used to be. Besides the addition of a lot if retail, there is a large outdoor area with restaurants and sitting areas. The outdoor area is nice with water features and a decent amount of outdoor eating. The new restaurants is a mix of mid to high end dining with a few casual options. Mastro’s Steakhouse is under construction and looks to a be a two story restaurant. It is nice that Westfield is reinvesting lots of money in this mall even though the future of malls might be rocky. Their investment will keep this mall one of the nicest and highest grossing in the nation.
A high-end mall with several designer label stores. Nice food court too. However, even after spending 5 hours there on a weekday, (it was not as crowded as it is on weekends) I could not browse through all the shops as the Mall is too big. I also got lost a few times as the layout is quite large.
Love this mall, its massive! You can tell they are doing all the small things to make people happy after Covid. The place was clean, staff was friendly, and even had portable phone chargers for rent ($1 with charge FUZE which I have used at other Westfield Malls in norcal). Plenty of parking too which is always an issue when I go to most places so it was refreshing not to worry about finding a spot!
While most malls in the country are struggling, this West Field mall keeps growing, and that too by mostly adding designer stores from all across the globe. The newly opened outdoor section is amazing, with great seating and restaurants. Bamboo Sushi for example has a great sushi selection. Last but not least the latest expansion has added two EV showrooms - Lucid Motors & Polestar.
This mall is Amazing!! I made a trip to California with my sons and ended up visiting it a handful of times. The mall has equal parts designer and middle priced stores. The ambience was very modern and chill. Too much to see in one day so if you do visit this Mall make sure you set a few days aside and look up the stores in order to visit all the ones youd like.
I really only come to this mall for three stores and the main one closes soon, so who knows if I will even be back. This mall is a bit high end for my style. I dont particularly like parking garages in earthquake country either. With the Disney Store going away soon, not much draws me to this mall. 😕 And if they follow through with charging for parking, forget about it.
Only visited this mall to walk around, a new design is confusing if your new to the area, and for local as well. For example, Valet signs are everywhere entering from the stevenscreek side. I was somewhat confused because of that long strip that has a sign valet, but at the end, it was connecting me to the parking structure. There are many new stores, and due to pandemics, many are gone. Bay area will become a ghost town sooner or later.Typically this mall is pack like sardines, and now its empty because of covid~19. Maybe people are smart enough not to socialize at this time.Good luck, a bay area with your endeavors. It was nice being a local for decades, but its time to leave.
Exquisite and beautiful! Easily the best mall in all of Bay Area.
You got to love it and they have a movie theaters inside just like back in the day
I feel good to see people and I feel safe. Shopping was fun.
This is hands down my favorite mall in the Bay Area and possibly all of the US. It was recently remodeled and the interior is beautiful. Its full of high-end businesses that cater to the Asian crowd. Ramen Nagi, Lady M, Royce, Din Tai Fung, Shihlin Street Snacks, SomiSomi, too many good food places to name! The overall vibe here is probably the closest youll get to one of the high end malls in Shanghai, Hong Kong, or Tokyo.
I love the place. The mall is flourished with luxury stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Mac etc. I went into Victoria Secret and the people were very helpful and I love the way it was set up. They had everything I needed for a good deal.
Good place to hangout and do casual shopping. However parking and getting out of the mall is a nightmare during the weekend
Perfect mall to shop around..all kinds of brands you can see here... The food court, and different kind of restaurants.mm great and huge parking space... Westfield valley fair mall...!
Mega mall, if you cant find it here then give up
There is a lot to do around in the area. A tone of stores to visit, really high end quality merchandise and they show off some new brands of cars. The mall does close at 8 pm though, but all the upscale restaurants will be open till 10. Theres also a lot of Art around the mall itself. When I went in August, theres a gallery with flowers spread out around.
Great place, very busy over the weekend, took me 20 min to find a parking on a Saturday. Good brands, restaurants and food court. I wanted to visit the LUCID motord studio, the car and the studio both were great, they didnt allow to get in the car since that was a prototype. I wish there were brands like Under Armour, sketchers. Overall a nice place to hangout and shop, even if you go alone.
Happy to see this mall revitalize. So many choices for food from sit down restaurants to court yard food. Also is good to see some security around the mall. Pet friendly!
Love this shopping mall! I go here so much! It’s also really close to Santana Row too, which is nice. It’s clean and and bright. Westfield Valley Fair has many great stores, I definitely recommend.
Like this shopping center! Many brands available. Nordstrom sales here are really nice. One star off for the parking lot. Not to many signs to guide you to different levels or getting out, I saw many times people drove into a wrong way.
Variety of Japanese and Taiwanese eateries in addition to other Asian Pacific cuisines. Will need to come back and explore. Nice distance to get walking steps!
Recently finished remodeling, looks good and has unique experiences now too!
Mall is nice and big, but very few bathrooms! And those few are hard to find, need better sigms.Put more bathrooms and add more bathroom signs in Mall.
I use to work at a shop at this mall. Great vibes everywhere. They just added a whole other half to the mall that was being built when I worked there. One of the biggest malls Ive ever been to
Very nice mall, full of trick or treaters today😁😄
Drive there early to get a parking place. Lots of bargains at Macys. Masks required. Not many fitting rooms open.Wide aisles for distance shopping. Nice clerks
Used to live in socal & frequented Century City, Glendale Galleria, Irvine Spectrum, South Coast Plaza, etc… and this is probably one of the best malls in California hands down.If anything, very comparable to century city. But with Santana Row across the street, this should be a go-to for those visiting from out of town. It has quite literally EVERYTHING you could possibly need and is massive. Its a modern masterpiece. Westfield has really put the money ($1B expansion) into this mall to cater to the Silicon Valley money in the area and it shows. They don’t have a typical AMC or Century 21, but instead a unique Showplace Icon movie theater. They’re still doing construction it seems right above Tiffany and Co, and the Eataly & Mastro’s are still in construction. The place is still not 100% finished but it will be amazing once it is. Don’t be fooled like other reviewers thinking stores shut - this isn’t the case as they just completed the massive new wing & are slowly bringing in more tenants.. it’s still not complete. The existing wing is filled to the brim.A must visit (+ santana row) if you’re in the area! Also, get here early if you’re coming on a weekend, as it gets packed super packed and parking is crazy. My suggestion is to park at the new structure thats connected to Bloomingdales, since it seems most people are still flocking to the Nordstrom and Macy’s side structures.Absolutely a top tier retail & food destination center!
Valley fair mall has all the designer stores. Families can shop, eat or go to the movies. Theres also a Dyson location within this Mall, which I just found out about. I and a JD shoe stare with all the latest sneakers. Perfect for sneakerheads. Outdoor dining and indoor dining.
A posh place to go when you want to escape from home because this days it feels like all we are doing is working and/or stay home! If you bought something nice to wear and have nowhere to go, this place is perfect for that and also you can find more thing to buy or just to enjoy a fancy meal out.
Westfield is looking good. Plenty new stores to explore. Good upgrades all around. Went to Macys for a suit, found what I was looking for in 20 minutes, great suit and great price 👍
Excellent mall with high end shopping and wonderful dining.
I love this mall. Enjoy going every week. Love, love, love the new wing. Restaurants are great. Wish they would turn on the fire in the fountains again.
Im not a mall goer but the combination of Santa Row and Valley Fair is a great place to enjoy your day. Good restaurants, people watching, and the new remodel at VF is incredibly beautiful. Plus the Nordstrom has a nice bar. Cheers
Some businesses moved from inside to outside. Buy they have no sign on the old storefront directing visitors to the new location. I thought they had just closed. Westfield is aggressively attracting restaurants from Santana Row, and it seems to be working. They dont charge for parking, yet.
Excellent shopping environment. A lot of good shops. The parking used to be a nightmare, but is no longer an issue after the new parking building was built.
Lots of shopping options. Many high end stores. Parking if a pain. Not sure how often I will go once the start charging to park. Super crowded.
I think its the worst mall ever in the whole world. How can it be so tough to design a place where you can park, shop and spend time without a hassle. Take great mall for instance. Loads of parking, easy access. Valley fair on the other hand..omg the parking..still the same issues as before the makeover..
Grew up with this mall ever since Ive been a kid. Its changed a lot, in many ways for the better. Theres not really many stores that interest me anymore however, seeing how they took out the Sony store and GameStop. I love the rewards program they added as an incentive to shop. Convenient parking at this place does suck however, since it seems the place is always packed. I still like this mall overall, its pretty okay.
As this place is so huge, its extremely difficult for a person to find the way to visit the shop what they want as the maps displayed are not practical and user friendly.
Lots of new stores and food options. Worth checking out!
The newly renovated section of the mall is very nice. The additions of new restaurants are also great.
It has changed so much since before the pandemic, its easy to get lost. For Example, the Apple store is now maybe three times bigger in a completely new section of the mall.
After recent renovations, this is truly a top-tier mall. Theres a wide range of variety for shopping selection, an excellent food court, and modern style all around. Only gripe is finding parking can be difficult, but its well worth it, and there are sensors to detect available parking spaces. So give this place a shot if youre nearby! Its easy to get distracted by Santana Row and miss this mall, but it will be well worth your time for a stop by!
A real hassle to get to the mall because the path is so convoluted but easy to find parking because the garage is nicely updated with how many empty spots in each row. The mall itself is pretty good. We went to Macys mostly and the staff was very professional and helpful.
Go by try zen space in the mall 5 PLUS STARS GREAT SERVICE BUTS YOUR PRIVACY FIRST
Recently remodeled catering towards high end shopping. If you havent seen the mall for over a year, you maybe in for a pleasant surprise (or disappointed since some familiar names are gone)
Newly renovated version of the Westfield Valley Fair is really great and an entertaining place to be!! Very upscale and the food court is a definite visit as they have renovated the place and people can spend easily up to 2 or 3 hours as the place is huge and with lots of new stores added post renovations!! Will definitely recommend a visit!! 👍🏻🙂
Top-notch mall. Very pricey. Several high-end restaurants. Great place to hang out and enjoy the beauty of the property.
Huge mall with variety of shops. some more upscale and some less. an enjoyable time. food options are pretty good too.
Bought family meal here today. Entree dishes packed not to the rim. All 3 entrees have 2 inches empty. What I meant to say is u open the boxes and u can see food sitting 2 inches down from the rim of the box. Not enough to feed 4 people 3 kids and one adult..
I’m giving it 5 stars as it’s pretty much a monopoly here in the South Bay Area. Where else could we go?
Very nice mall, great places to eat although there can be major waiting at the cheese cake factory on weekends. Great variety of stores.
This is a first-class shopping area! The cashiers were very helpful and kind. They have a range of high quality items you can purchase at a really inexpensive price. The saleswoman was also very sensitive every time I asked questions. Its a safe and very cozy spot. Its highly recommended!
With the new additions and the new outdoor walkway, Westfield has become a really good mall. Really liking the vibe.
Many shops that are worth a visit. A ton of great food places.
There are so many store and so many visitors what can I say. Nothing bad. It does take a while to see everything on both levels. I’ve gone several times so I know which stores are my favorite and the only ones I visit. I do wish they had more shade to eat outside. Due to covid social distancing is still desired so shaded area was limited. Visited 06/26/2021.
My family and I love this theater. super friendly staff. great screens, great sound. top quality experience at pocket prices. really cant be beat. thank you Icon, 😊 you truly know how to take care of your staff and customers.
Very elegant and, soon to be, bug and nice place. But at the time of my visit lots of shops were (still) closed moving and under renovation. That took away a lot from the experience. Else this is beautiful mall with lods of good food options. I will check it put later again...
Its alright it seems like its a ghost town with it being so big their are many places/spots under construction or moved. The food court seems smaller but is a good place to visit.
Love the selection of shops. Directions inside the mall could be better.
Updated with lots of new stores and restart. Reminds me of Vegas, but better weather.
Love The Location, The Surrounding Area Was Great Also... A Good Amount Of The Stores Couldve Had Better Customer Service And More Knowledgeable About The Store... The Food Selections Werent The Best, But We Found POKEATERY And Got Good Drinks And Snacks... Everything Was High End If Thats What Youre Looking For, This Is The Place To Be, I Thought It Was Great From Beginning To End... I Got Lost A Couple Times, But Didnt Get Bothered Or Annoyed Because I Kept Running Into New Stores Left And Right... Go And Tell Me How It Was For You...
This is a large mall with a great variety of stores. Wear your walking shoes.
Car parking didnt have proper exit signs. Map directory is confusing. An app with live real time map would be better.
Great but don’t come on weekends. Very hard to find parking
Very clean, and very big! The parking garage is easy to navigate and the mall inside very clean and good variety of stores and a few pop up places for good photo ops 😊
The BEST MALL PLACE IN TOWN. ..4 and half. Parking walkways in and out. not organized
Awesome upscale Mall huge I think they need cards for you to ride here have a great variety of stores very clean
Many high end stores are located here. Hopefully Chanel and Dior store will be here soon.
Its nice to see a mall that is still alive but its too bougie to appreciate.
I love that mall have all what you need, do shopping there make you feel so fancy :3
What can I say except that this is my favorite mall that continues to get bigger and better each time.
This long time shopping mall has been upgraded after Covid shutdown with lot of good name upscale stores added. Pleasure to visit and shop here
I just didnt like that Macys women sections is all devided from instared.
Great Mall with lots of luxury stores. Made a special trip here just to buy a shirt. Some remodeling happening so should be a better shopping experience with even more stores.
This mall is a shoppers paradise! So many stores. Everything you can think of is here. Good first experience!
They’ve really upped their game at valley fair. So many new eateries available m, can’t wait to try some. Lots of new ramen and poke plus tea, Donuts, noodles and everything you want. Really a destination now. Love that they now have an urban outfitters and Anthropologie close by. Can’t wait to try ichina when it opens.
Many new designer shops with excellent services. Like the new additions . Very clean& well ventilated. Can compete with Stanford Mall.
I usually park at the BoA lot but theres also plenty of parking in the structure. There are opening more luxury stores here (Louboutin, Dior), and now theres a lululemon. Can also go across the street to Santana Row. Have here recently for restaurants. (Kings Fish House and iChina). This replaces my usual spot of union square shopping.
Love the new parking. It tells you if and how many spaces are available at each row, so you dont circle on and on and on....
I have been going to valley fair for over 50 years been there as a little boy and worked there in high school and still shop at valley fair nice stores and places to eat or get a nice coffee or snack.
