This is my go to spot! I’ve never had a bad experience here and their customer service… it’s really all in the name! Really kind people that are always helpful. One of the only places in SC that has really good and constant deals, not just depending on the day.

My second visit to this location, and once again, it was really pleasant and enjoyable. A clean, well-lighted place to buy cannabis. (Which, honestly, delivers on the dreams of people for many decades. :-) )The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to help out with my questions. Good social distancing, and not too crowded, so there wasnt a lot of waiting in line. Michael R. was the one who helped me check out, and he was friendly, and familiar with many of the products I had chosen. We had a nice chat while he rang things up.Would definitely recommend this location (and the other, which Ive been to one time.) Top notch crew and selection! Ill definitely be back.

Huge waste of money. Fees and taxes are a ripoff. Look through reviews to see many other people know how bad their prices are.Go to just about any other dispensary in town, buy the same brands, buy the same weed, and save 25-50% by just not going to KindPeoples.Beautiful shop, kind but annoyingly pedantic employees, and oddly withmany employees service can be surprisingly slow. On the surface it looks nice but theyre taking a lot of your money for absolutely nothing extra other than being open past 8PM and having a nice floor display (of overpriced products)Due to the floor layout its probably a good place to go look for and check out products, then purchase them elsewhere to save a significant amount of money.Id recommend Curbstone personally.

Amazing experience and service!

Wife and I came by, but unfortunately my Id was out of date, so they made me stand out side even though I am obviously of age and in pain due to a pinched nerve in my spine. The couch is just 7 feet inside the door but they would not let me even sit to wait for my wife. They would prefer to talk to each other instead of being curious to their customers.

People here are rude and make you feel very uncomfortable. The receptionists were great but the handlers and the guy at the computer were very snobbish and stuck up. If I could give a negative star review I would.

Out of the two locations, this location is my favorite because Amanda, one of the bud tenders at this location, is truly amazing. She always says hi with a friendly smile and super knowledgeable about the bud that is for sale and If I have any questions She always seems to know the answer. Thanks Amanda!!!

Large, clean, airy, well-staffed, good selection, prices and %’s are all in line with local competition. Parking is free and plentiful. This is a very safe location. No guards outside and more relaxed security inside the front door. At first few visits I felt accosted by a guard, now they just remain in sight. Discounts for Vets, Wisdom, frequent flyer customer 10% off.My preferred shop in Santa Cruz 🌊🏄🏻‍♂️.

As a caregiver I often have to purchase pain patches for my clients. After being a regular customer since they opened, I was assaulted physically and thrown out of their store by their violent manager for no reason. And yes I was wearing a mask. There was ZERO reason for being treated the way I was treated. He grabbed my phone from my hand and threw it on the ground and yanked my hand. Even two of the store employees apologized to me for his behavior. This man has no business being a manager. I was forced to call the police, just for shopping! NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE! ITS A DANGER TO YOUR HEALTH!

Absolutely rad experience. Front staff was fun, hilarious and helpful. The shop is like a candy store and you get to look at and compare product. James was absolutely knowledgeable, helpful and a really awesome, friendly person. I used to frequent the Soquel Kind, but I really found a new favourite here on Ocean. There Quality is mostly above average for the area. The prices are one of the highest in Santa Cruz. The staff are always in a hurry to get you to make a decision. They seem trained to push old products and get rude if you ask questions. No Recommendations Here!

The dude who answers the phone is probably one of the worst people in the customer service people I have ever spoke to on the phone and should be fired immediately. I will not be purchasing from your dispensary specifically because of this guy.

Second time coming into this dispensary. I am still amazed at the great customer service throughout the pandemic. My wife loves to shop here and now my mother in-law is just completely in love with this dispensary. Staff keeps the place well sanitized and clean and as always the crew is so knowledge and customer service was the best in town!!! Kudos to the management as well for serving our community during this crucial time with awesome and kind employees.

Just went in this afternoon (August 15, 2020) and there was on of the rudest budtenders I’ve ever met behind the counter. He didn’t want to give me his name, but he had on a blue shirt and was at the checkout counter. His knowledge on the products he was selling was almost completely absent as he had no idea how any of the cannabis at a lower price then the top shelf (a whopping almost $80 an eighth out the door) ... so when I asked him questions about the strains HE WAS SELLING he didn’t answer me but instead patronized me about not spending enough money. Saying he only spends his money on the most quality weed possible and has no knowledge what anything cheap could possibly be like. Would never return to this dispensary. I’ve been to hundreds across the west coast at this point and would never go out of my way to make a review unless it was actually that bad. Take your money elsewhere. It’s overpriced and set up so poorly that it makes it difficult to figure out what they actually have in stock.

Love the concept and layout of this dispensary. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, service was quick. The inventory was great and they had exactly what I needed. Prices are reasonable—just remember to bring cash. They do have an ATM though if you forget.

I used to go here a lot, and really liked the service and people there. However over the past year, especially after the Ocean street location opened, Ive noticed a steady decline in customer service, and all faces Ive gotten used to seeing slowly disappear. And when I run into those faces on the street they have nothing but bad things to say about the company. And lots of gossip about rampant drug usage and mismanagement. Weed is legal guys, not cocaine. Ive seen a few of their employees have moved to other dispensaries. You should as well.

A staple of the Santa Cruz cannabis scene! Kindpeoples traditionally has the best preroll deals in town. The indoor top shelf is usually pretty steep, but they always have amazing greenhouse selection for a great price. The most impressive part of Kindpeoples is their genetics selection. They have dark hearts and purple city genetics clones which are the best available clones in the area. These clones are so sought after in other areas of the state people camp out before drops and they are sold out the same day the are delivered, there is never a problem getting a high quality cut from here.

Best dispensary in the Peninsula. Staff knows their product. High quality fresh live resin extracts. This is NOT a chain, support local biz! Forbidden Fruit will blow your mind. So tangie with a sweet indica dom head high. If youve had the flower, you will love the extract.

Bad service. Bad products, moldy, too expensive. Terrible customer service. Would not return to this location.

Different kind of dispensary than Im used to, in Las Vegas everything is behind counters but here you can walk around and check everything out, its an open floor plan like a chevron or something.

Went to the new location to get some flower, the front desk people were nice and courteous etc. However while I was browsing around trying to figure out what I wanted to get. The budtender who was helping another customer rudely told me to go around the other counter to give the person she was helping some privacy. I was not even close to where she (the other customer) was at all, my eyesight is terrible due to my glaucoma. And it was my first time here. So I was having a hard time reading what kind of flower they had. Plus nobody who was at the counter gave me any customer service, for a good 10 minutes. Dont know if Ill be back

Today was my 4th visit. 1st was all good. 2nd and 3rd the Items were more expensive than on their website. This time, there were multiple errors on their website. When I arrived, I was told it was an entry error. No apology. No offer of a discount. No offer to throw in a preroll or anything. Just told me it was an entry error and asked if I still wanted it. Absolutely no offer of any kind of accommodation for wasting my time. If I could post this review with 0 stars, I would. I might get Weights and Measures involved. Bait and switch much?

Very expensive an very poor quality top shelf compared to other shops, worst experience for the first time going there .. I purchased 3.5 grams of pixie dust and also 3.5 of wedding cake . I was told there where the two, best buds an that they were indoor .. but that was not indoor that they gave me it looked an smelled like lite dept quality .. I have never seen top shelf indoor that bad not even from a beginners grower stand point .. will not be going there ever an also would not recommend anyone to go there if you really want top shelf quality indoor buds ..
