Liars and cheaters! all they sell are broken cars that they wont fix!!! still dealing with issues from a car a bought a year ago! it blew a headgasket within the first 20 days! BUYER BEWARE! if i could i would leave 0 stars!!!

Ive purchased 5 cars for myself and family members from Carlos at Santa Barbara Car Company over the past 10 years, 2 Audis, a Volvo, a Honda, and a Pontiac Vibe. Just finalized the purchase of an SUV and have been both satisfied and impressed with Santa Barbara Car Company. Both Juan (sales) and Joan (general manager) were really great to work with and did a great job.Coming from north SLO county, we didnt know what to expect, nor did we have the luxury of living nearby and able to just check in or regularly talk in person. Joan and Juan both made that distance irrelevant.After our initial test drive and inspection, I provided Joan with a list of issues I found, which they began correcting immediately. Then after I made an appointment for an independent pre-purchase inspection (PPI), they delivered the vehicle to and from the servicing shop. The PPI found some issues, large and small, and SB Car Co set to work correcting them all within two days without any increase in our agreed-upon price.For all the stigma that sometimes goes with a used-car lot, SB Car Co never pushed us, treated us unfairly, nor gave us the runaround. No bait-and-switch, no smarmy salesmen, no up-sells. Nothing but fair, honest and easy-going, at a very fair price.Thank you, Santa Barbara Car Company!

Stopped and looked. Nothing caught my eye.

Two weeks after I got a car from that place it broke down they kept it for a month to repair the lifters....im sure they added something in my motor oil to silence the noise so not long after my car gave up.. I than called SBCC but Carlos who is the owner was on vacation so I decided to take the car to a shop that I trusted.. long story short the lifters were never changed by sbcc,,,they burned me ..ya right ill take them to court too!!! I work hard for my money!!!

We bought a truck from these ppl.. shortly after the truck started making noice I took it to a mechanic and he said it was the flexplate.. Mauricio kept giving me the runaround saying they were too busy but I told him my warranty would run out and he said not to worry they would make it right. Took it 3 times and was told the same thing.. here we are a year later and Carlos is back but Mauricio is gone and now Carlos tells me tough luck its out of warranty that the only thing he can do is check whats wrong with it WHEN I ALREADY KNOW CAUSE I TOOK IT BACK FOR THAT REASON!! Yes they have lemons In this lot! Would never recommend or buy from them again!! Really bad business plus Carlos is extremely RUDE!!
