Wow, the experience we had with Daisy, the internet sales representative, and Ryan, the general manager, was truly 5 stars! We had been looking for a car for a while and had visited several local dealerships and private parties as well. My husband found this used Honda, which met all of our criteria, on their website and started corresponding with them online. We live 2 hours south (without traffic) and could not arrange an in person test drive/inspection for over a week. Not only did they continuously, answer questions and assist us from afar, but they went as far as putting a sold sign in the car until we could coordinate our schedules. Once we made it to the dealership, the service got even BETTER! From the moment we walked into the dealership, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, along with hospitality as if we were checking into a 5 star resort on vacation! The car is great, but the customer service was beyond phenomenal and so rare in todays business environment. They made the whole process extremely easy and actually ENJOYABLE! I have NEVER had a better car buying experience in my life. I cant recommend them enough!

The salesmen Celica was very educated about the stock and studies the vehicles near constantly even when she is off. One look at the owners manual THICK you do need to know a bit and she knows a lot. They were very aggressive about making a fair deal and that is just what they did. Was surprised compared to other dealerships how hard they tried and crunched the numbers. All in all a very hard working crew from everyone we met there.
My intention was to look at 5 similar cars before making any purchase. Nissan was the 2nd dealershipvisited, and a deal was made. I would like to recognize a remarkable car salesman, Michael Rayas of Santa Maria Nissan. After filling out an online loan application last week I was promptly contacted by Michael, who was able to set me up with an appointment within the hour. I found Michael to be highly interested in helping me find the best car to meet my needs and negotiate the best price. I would also like to commend Michael for his excellent knowledge of the vehicles I was interested in. I found him to be competent as he explained and demonstrated the many mechanical and electronic features of the cars. He explained them so that this, not so tech-savvy, older woman could understand. I highly recommend Santa Maria Nissan for your next car purchase. They went to great lengths to satisfy me, far exceeding my expectations, and negotiated a great deal for me. I suggest you ask for Michael of course, but I also found the sales managers and owner to be genuine people too, who were not just interested in a sale, but in making sure that I was satisfied.
Sales was good, manager was good, the only thing, was they rushed to deliver the new car, and it was not as clean as I would have expected for a new car delivery. I understand they were busy, things happen, I would have preferred they tell me it was going to take a day to properly prep it for delivery, before releasing the car to me. But I defiantly appreciated that they wanted me to have the car as soon as possible. Its nothing I cant handle, Ill clean the inside windows myself, and run it thru a car wash.

I bought a 2020 Rogue today, and my experience could not have been more positive. Celica was an amazing salesperson. She was honest, caring, friendly, and very knowledgable. She genuinely wanted me to get the car of my dreams. Ryan, the GM, was also very amicable and genuine. The amount I paid for my car was less than I had expected, as I got both a AAA discount and $2,000 rebate. I had done my research, and was pleasantly surprised at the final purchase price. Overall, the climate in the office was positive, and it was obvious employees enjoyed their jobs. Yet, there was a notable work ethic and level of professional. If I could give Nissan/Mazda Santa Maria 12 stars, I would! I really was impressed and I highly recommend them.
I have a 2012 Nissan Quest. My transmission blew at 92,000 miles. Nissan Corp wouldn’t do anything for me so I had to fix it on my own. It was there for a week and nobody touched it. When I finally called to see what was going on they said I never authorized repairs. I told them I wanted it fixed and no one ever called me to have the repairs authorized. My service writers name was Rocky and I couldn’t ever get a hold of him. I would call several times and leave messages and wouldn’t ever get a call back. Finally after two weeks my car was done and I wanted a smog. They asked if I could leave it there over the weekend so they can drive it to reset it. Once Monday came and I went to pick it up the smog wasn’t done. They never drove the car to have it reset and then wanted to keep it longer. I told them no and took it. Then they told me they needed to get my paperwork closed out. It took over 30 minutes for this to happen and I watched the guy continue to get other people’s cars before mine. I was there first and should have been taken care of. I spent $5,250 at your dealership and wasn’t valued as a customer. I will never buy another Nissan again and will never use your dealership for any further repairs to my Altima and Quest.
Went in for a recall on my LEAF. Due to Covid19 I expected it would not be EASY.WRONG. I got an appointment slot within days, was greeted promptly upon arrival, and given a shuttle ride back home, and again when it was ready. And it was ready just about when they said it would be.What a different experience from what I got years ago at Stanford Nissan (was in Palo Alto).

The work was done within 1 hour as he said it would be. Daniel even had someone bring my truck to me. I have never been treated this well at a dealership and I am 70 years old ! Everyone is very professional.My only complaint is that it had taken my car through a car wash the day before, and they washed it with the oil change and left the windows all watermarked and smeary. I had to wash them again.

Check in relatively fast, a bit of confusion about the appointment (parts dept said to just come in, service said I should have an appointment), okd leaving car over night, didnt get confirmation call at 5:00, did get call in morning that car was finished. Exactly as promised and estimate spot on!

I had a great all around experience from start to finish with Gustavo he explained the vehicle very well. When I was doing my paperwork with Daniel he was also very detailed in his paperwork. Showed us a few options to protect our vehicle and took the time to explain each package. These guys went above and beyond what I expected.
Well I used the shuttle to wait for my car while being serviced and was dropped off half a mile from the dealer at Cosco the dealer called me that my car was ready so i called to be picked up 10 min. later when I was out but they did picked me up 2 hours later after my call.

Service manager, Juan, greeted me when I arrived for my appointment. He is always ready to serve and help. He called back within 45 min to inform me regarding the brakes - and the need to replace the brake pads on the rear wheels - which I was suspecting might be the case. Daniel called a few hours later when the car was ready. Again, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, Juan, happen to be available and took are of getting me to the cashier and bringing my car out. It is a unique time with the Covid-19 issues - but the gang at Santa Maria Nissan took care of my needs seemlessly. Thanks for their attitude and service.
I am very disappointed with Nissan. There is a lawsuit going on where they extended their warranty on the cvt transmission from 84000 miles or 7 years which ever comes first. We have a 2016 Nissan Sentra and we fall in that category. We feel the transmission slipping and when were driving up hill the rpm goes up and down and weve had two mechanics say we need a new transmission. We took it into Nissan because of the letter we got about the extend warranty and Nissan is saying there is nothing wrong with it. I drove it to Guadalupe and I can still feel the slip and Nissan said they drove it to Nipomo and Orcutt and didnt feel nothing, but there is something wrong with the transmission and I feel that Nissan just does not want to fix and cover it and thats a disappointment.

Needed one simple part replaced and through some miscommunication a different part was replaced. The mechanic should have known the part they replaced was incorrect by the error code. Nissan offered to replace the correct part for just the part price and labor for free. Tried to originally charge me $260 for just the part until I called around and found the part was $149 at Nissan Santa Barbara and Slo. Nissan SM ended up bringing the price down to $149 after I complained and the work was done. Wont be ever coming back or recommending anyone go there. They are definitely fine with scamming customers and doing unnecessary work for profit...
My vehicle was overfilled with oil by 1/2 inch above the full mark. Ive noticed when my vehicle was under-performing so I decided to check. When I contacted the service supervisor Juan, he stated that it would not harm my vehicle. In my experience servicing a vehicle with oil above the recommended limit would damage the engine internally. I had to personally drain the excess oil, about. over 1 qt. to prevent further damage to my engine and I drove back to the dealer for one and one half hours. I insisted that the conventional oil be replaced with synthetic oil, as they indicated they have serviced my vehicle with on their invoice. I have no confidence on the mechanics from this dealer, they appear not to be certified. The service Department is poorly managed. Consumers beware.
Went in for an oil change and inspection. Multi-point inspection was never discussed at completion and check list showed items needing immediate attention. I went home and checked items myself and completed the service on my own. Usually the service department has been very thorough in the past about discussing issues, so not sure what happened this time. rating is based on this experience only. The past service experiences would be 4 or 5 stars.

The employee was friendly, patient and courteous. This encouraged me to stop by and meet others who were involved in educating me on the Nissan vehicles. There was absolutely no sales pressure and all my questions and concerns were addressed by knowledgeable and accommodating staff, shifting the car-buying experience from one which I had come to dread to one that was most enjoyable. I came in not knowing what I wanted. The sales people were all very patient and knowledgeable. My husband and I are both very pleased.
I had scheduled an appointment online thinking that my appointment would take less than an hour, since it was not a walk in. I left my vehicle at 11:20 am and I never received a call that my vehicle was ready. In fact, I had to call the dealership multiple times to try and verify that my vehicle was ready for pick up, but the service department never answered. I then left a message with the operator that answers the calls, left my name and my number, but still then no one called me back. I finally decided to just go into the office around almost 4:00 pm. Im disappointed in the communication factor of my visit. I would have liked to at least get an e-mail saying that my vehicle was ready.The service provided seemed to be complete and well done.
