I love Ulta Beauty they have so many beautiful pallets of morph makeup.

This was my first visit to this Ulta Beauty. I went by to pick up an online order. This was a pretty smooth process. Only a couple hours from placing my order to picking up my new Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Pallet. The store is huge, well lit, and spotless. I was dazzled by the assortment of named brand products. The shelves were well stocked. I wasnt sure where to find certain brands so I easily found a staff member who walked me to the section I asked for. She then helped me find my correct foundation shade. She also told me that if it wasnt the right shade, I could return it for a different shade or refund. Ill definitely be back. I love Ulta but hated the wait for shipping, so now I will just use the easy store pick up process.

Love the staff. There is a young man who has helped me a couple times, as tall as I am, very polite and helpful. A young woman helped me with shampoo selection tonight, Ive decided to honor my gray hair and she directed me to a shampoo that will honor my well earned silver halo!!! Thank you and PLEASE pass on my compliments.. shopping experience Feb 12, 2021, around 445pm or so.

Great selection of cosmetics, under rated staff no knowledge in products. Only a hand few knew what I needed or made any recommendations that was worth attention to.

All the employees kept repeatedly passing my friend and I and asking if we needed anything, over and over. They obviously were trying to keep an eye on their customers to make sure no one was stealing. I understand that this location probably has an issue with stealing but they should really train their employees how to keep an eye out at a distance. I did not appreciate being treated as if I were some sort of criminal trying to be sneaky. Also, they did not seem very knowledgeable about their products.

Staff here are on POINT. I was able with their help, to find what I was looking for very quickly as my husband was trying to push me towards the exit before I spent any more money lol. Self care is priceless!

Good selection of beauty products, chic, and micro batch brands like Pacifica, does NOT have Sol de Janiero. More expensive than Sephora with a less rewarding rewards plan.

Sales associates are more than willing to assist with questions and/or recommendations..almost to a fault..one sales associate almost got on my nerves recently...she was too helpful..I like to ask a question and then left to my thoughts about a decision. They carry most top of the line merchandise which makes them a little more pricey than mosr

Im so glad I picked Ulta beauty to buy my colognes. Loved how i was able to use coupons on fragrances, other stores hardly ever put them on sale. Also another cool things is the gifts they give. I Will be going back very soon to use the reward points I got while shopping.

The store has wonderful associates and plenty of selections for hair styling equipment, a salon and a variety of beauty products. The aisles are on the smaller side and the checkout line winds through the aisles so getting around the store is difficult when there are many shoppers. The associates wander the store so it is easy to get help when needed.

Gift sets in regular scents would be better, than holiday scents. We were going to buy an item but, the line was way too long.

I like the fact that Ulta has a variety of brands. I like the lighting and the layout of the store. I didnt give 5 stars because there are not enough sales associates on the floor.

No service and rude employees. Open 4 days and probably will close soon. Awful experience. I waited at the Check out while the one and only cashier helped a group of people who would separately find products and walk right in front of me to be checked out. I asked the manager if anyone could help me and was told they were all on break! After 20 minutes I simply left.

I loved coming here because there was always someone to help. Most associates are very friendly. I went in at around 12 yesterday and there was no one to help me so I left and I decided to come back around 8:30pm and there was still no one to help so I got in line and the girl with short blonde hair ringing people up didn’t really help. I showed her some Kiss lashes on the Ulta App & it said there was some in stock here. She said “if it’s not out there, that’s all we have” so I asked again, “so you don’t have anymore?” She said “we put up new stock tonight, they should be there tomorrow morning, if we have any” that’s not much help I came because I wanted them that night, don’t get why she couldn’t just check in the back. I came home and ordered them online and now I have to wait till next week to get them. Very upset. Rather shop online if I’m not gonna get help in store.

Every time I come in it is a very nice and relaxing experience and the cashiers are very nice and put up with my jokes and indecisiveness. And I feel so sorry for them because if they are helping people at different stations, rude costumers gang up on them for not having all hands on the specific area that those customers are at. But I will continue to come here because the service is great, the products are great and I am not driving to San Luis for Sephora :D

I am giving Ulta Santa Maria 2 starts. The reason is i went in to purchase Redkin hair products and a sign of a free kit for any purchases over $45 was offered. But when i asked they said they just put up the sign and were then looking for said products. I came in for this deal and they had none. Also i called customer service to see if they could send it to me if i give them my info they told me that they could not. They told me they could send the district manager a email . And that it was up to the district manager if they would do anything for me. I feel as though I should have been given something to replace the value of the free gift set. I spent $80 in Redkin hair products.

Horrible customer service. I waited around for 30 minutes to talk to an employee to see if they had items in stock and still nothing. I spoke with two different employees who didn’t want to help and told me to wait around for someone else but no one came to help. I would give zero stars.

First time in the store customer service there was none!!!!! Why do people go into that type of work and they look so unfriendly!!! they have so much nice items but just didnt want to buy anything from them really need to work on human kindness

The first time I went everything went gd, 2nd time I had one of the young women talk unkind & embarrassing to me in front of other customers. They do have a great selection to choose from & the girls that help u get things r very nice so overall its a good place.

Last week went to ulta. To get my eye lashes put on I waited a half hour before I could help I actually had to find someone myself. I just went in there to get my eyelashes on in the sants Maria one the employee look at me did not say anything to me after I been there for 5 min I was getting mad. Customer service sucks needs improvement.

First its a maze. A maze with very expensive make up. If someone can afford to spend 30.00 for a lip gloss....good for them.The place is clean. Of course it is. Its brand new building. This place is for the wealthy and for the naiive makeup younger set who hasnt figured out how theyre getting ripped off yet.

I really liked the updo that the stylist, Amanda, gave my daughter, and yes she will be doing her wedding hair! Shes also a joy to have a conversation with!

I knew Id get hooked if I came close to this store so Id avoid it at all cost. Now, they just had to make one in my town, 5 minutes away from my home. Im screwed. Haha... Well, first time coming in, the store was nice, bright, and organized. The employees were very polite and approachable.

Not 1 person asked if we needed help as we looked and looked for the product i needed. I finally went up to an employee to ask her for it. She “checked” and said it was out of stock right away. Right after that, she literally snatched my almost empty foundation bottle assuming it was the sample (clearly it wasn’t!! I walked into the store with it in my hand) First and last visit at Ulta. I’ll continue shopping at Sephora.

Went for my hair and got hair products after conditioning my scalp, shampoo and conditioning my hair, and much more for my post chemo u er rhin hair.

Went with my daughter she got some makeup.

Employees were friendly and super helpful . I was so excited to see the morphe and MAC displays only to be let down immediately after realizing the the morphe display was COMPLETELY emptied out . I don’t think it’s a problem with this specific ULTA as the one in SLO is ALWAYS out of stock on everything as well . Looks like another ulta that I won’t waste my time with bothering to come in to because everything I want is already gone .

Love this company, unfortunately companies can be great but poor staff makes all the difference. This particular store has numerous ladies are uneducated on the products they sell there. I say this not from just one visit, but quite a few. A lot of poor attitude was given to me tgis first and last timw teying to return an unused item that was given to me as a gift. I went online to read their return policy and it states unused items still in box can be returned as store credit without hassle. Well that was not practiced at the Santa Maria store and was almost feeling like they were hinting it was stolen which I know my friend of 15 plus yrs. wouldnt ever steal for anyone. So that pit a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully the 2 staff membwrs wgo jandled tgis so poorly will see this and handle and conduct business more professionally in yhe future or find new jobs.
