I have been going to this location to sell now and the staff is great! Never a problem. Occasionally I feel like an item here or there was a bit undervalued but for the most part I have been very satisfied. I understand the concept and agree that because they want to pass on savings, they generally dont charge a lot. Sure there will be a few items that may be more high end and justifiably the price will go up. But overall, the prices are generally in the $15-$35 region which I consider quitereasonable. So if this is their average price, you cantexpect a premium offer for your clothes. They have to make a profitI have always been impressed with their selectionof clothes and shoes. The place is clean and cozy.I always have a nice experience when I go there. I see myself going there for a long time. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Selection is not so great - mostly similar to a lot of the kind of everyday stuff youd find at goodwill.Also quite a few items are damaged - like they were asking $40 for a pair of boots where the PU leather was already peeling, so I didnt buy them... But 2 weeks later found the exact same style of boots (same brand and color) from a different thrift store for $15 in like new condition. 😂👍Lot of the clothes that I thought were cute had holes in it too... Buyer needs to check what they are buying bc it just makes me put low trust in your store when so much is damaged

They close when they want and leave a letter taped to the door. Also, when the curly haired girl is not there.... VERY STRONG WHITES- ONLY- VIBE.

They have the smugness to turn down designer jeans Im selling, for which I would have taken just about anything, and say they are not up to their style, but yet they have Wrangler jeans on the rack, and sweat shorts...come on...If Id been offered even 5 bucks per pair of jeans, I wouldve taken it, and probably spent more than I did.Minus 2 stars for the lack of friendliness from the staff. I get it, its LA, and its clothing so theres always gonna be a little attitude...but its also Santa Monica and middle of Covid Crazies!!

Beware don’t sell your items at this store they are incredibly rude and will under value your items more than other crossroads! Me having to deal with Alexa wasn’t a pleasure either never seen someone so poorly dressed be so rude in my life at least when I shop at Gucci they have suits on with stank attitudes. This is by far the worse crossroads hands down she took 6 of my items word of advice fire everyone in here and start over ASAP!

Fair rating for a fair service. Servers seemed a little down and maybe bored, only took two items but the price seemed fair. Wait time was good. Nice selection of clothes. Im a little upset they didnt take some clothes on the basis of their quality - a lot of them were actually very good quality, just werent the servers idea of on trend, which is a subjective opinion.

Don’t understand how you expect people to buy things when there is NO fitting room available. I’m not about to buy clothes just to bring them back. bring back the fitting rooms

Ladies and Gents stop by this trendy store to find that perfect out, its prices are very good and youll save money here compared to going to a mall. You can also sell your cool pieces, just make sure there clean, in style and in very good condition. I love crossroads, friendly staff and great locations.

Not sure about selling but they definitely need to upgrade customer service.Ive been there 3 times and 3 times employees had an attitude for no reason.You can definitely find some cute items and prices are very affordable but honestly I dont want to come back to this store.So 2 stars because they do have some cute items.Minus 3 stars for unfriendly staff.

Ive found some pretty nice clothes here, including yoga shorts that are $98 retail. Ive gained a new appreciation for secondhand stores due to these guys.

I shop here periodically for over 15 years. Always can find something good. I sold some clothes, shoes, bags as well. One of the best Crossroads.

Decent selection, though every consignment store is going to be hit-and-miss for different people. Ive had decent luck there, and the staff are always friendly. Im only docking a star because Ive noticed a very considerable amount of the clothing in stock is damaged. They usually adjust the price accordingly, but it just makes me wonder whether the staff could be more attentive.

I always have a good experience at crossroads. As a seller, as well, as a buyer. I have sold there at least 10 times and every time I left with empty bags. Definitely they prefer designer things, but that’s what I in return wanna buy.Best time for selling is during the week, 30 minutes after they opened their. Because the first sellers are already wrapped. So I never had long waiting times. The prices are fair. The crew is friendly, some of them not that talkative. That’s absolutely fine with me. I personally don’t need smalltalk, so I am fine with either way of communication.5 month later between this and my last review. Today I came with 2 big bags full of clothing again. I haven’t seen the woman before who helped me today. She was very friendly and I left with empty bags and a full wallet again. Thank you! On top I found a cute dress! Always a pleasure dealing with you.

Ive come in here multiple times before and for all those times Ive always gone out empty handed. I thought, thrift shopping in Santa Monica is just downright impossible. The cheapest top Ive seen here was $16. Honestly, thats pretty cheap. But I thought, if I can buy the same piece in brand new condition for around same price in a different area, then I would most definitely go there. But today, I found a Cinq à Sept piece for $24 - originally priced at $324. I was dumbfounded for a second then immediately bought it.Of the thrift shops Ive been to, one of its pros I must say is the clothes here are the trendiest and the most up-to-fashion. Most of their brands are popular and or high end.The ladies out front greets everyone who comes in. But when I was lining up to check out, the lady who helped me was not very friendly. Maybe a little smile? She might have been ready to go home since it was already around 8 pm but still.

Standing outside, store hasnt opened yet? 15 minutes after 11. Not just That, but they also dont tell you that ya cant return things. So beware this place is shady, not sure if employees pocket the money or what. But its not a good look or a good place. Be careful

Waste of time. The girls working were rude. One of them made a snooty remark that they didnt buy a certain brand I brought in. I explained that their other location had just bought 20 of them recently & while each location is different, and that her statement was incorrect. Her immediate response was Well thank you for coming in. Well see you next time.There wont be a next time. Take you clothes to Buffalo Exchange in Santa Monica instead. Nicer staff & better return on your clothes.

Took my girlfriend shopping her for her birthday, she was still is very happy! They have a great selection of high end clothing with many different styles available. Paired with Dressing rooms and waiting for which was essential. Great place to find nice clothes for reduced costs. Super close to the Santa Monica beach, we did a mini photoshoot afterwards in her new outfits. Great day, thanks to Crossroads!

Love this second hands clothing store! Not only is it super affordable and very stylish, but also the fact that youre shopping on the reduce reuse recycle system makes you feel just great!

Please educate your employees to understand trends, brands and clothes if you are evaluating their price. The lady checking in my wardrobe kept getting advice from the other employee next to her. She rejected items from Supreme, Ganni, Gucci, and Levi’s to name a few. It took over 2hrs once I checked in for someone to look at my clothes with only x2 people in front of me in line with 2-3 small bags of clothes. There was no urgency or apologies from the staff. I have been going here for years and generally happy with the return for my clothes but won’t be back again. Very, very disappointed.

I have been selling to them for years. Sometime they buy a good amount and sometimes they dont buy any, but thats how it is and thats cool! However, today my experience was different in a bad way. The buyer started going through my first bag and found 1 piece then she asked if I want to shop around while she is going through everything. I wasnt in a shopping mood but still took a quick round and went back to the counter squickly and the buyer said she was already done going through everything and she only picked the one piece. I have done this selling thing enough times to know how much time it takes and I was weireded out that she said that. I took a look inside the bags she claimed to have checked and found the pieces exactly the way I folded them and put them in bags, so I assured she didnt look at them. It was the first time this happened to me, but I wanted to share it with other sellers and advice them to stay at the counter while selling so this wont happen to them. For buyers however it is a great place to purchase discounted and used clothing

I used to leave with at least one thing each visit. Prices were great $8 a T-shirt. Now it’s $18-22 a T-shirt. I’ve had a gift card in my pocket for there for two months and haven’t bought anything there in at least a year but visited multiple times. Used to be my favorite place but has shifted into mediocrity

I cant speak for the sellers... I probably wouldnt sell clothes here, myself, because Im guessing they dont give much for them. If I can buy Seven jeans for $25, well, Im sure the previous owner didnt get much for them. Anyway! Every since I walked in last fall Ive been addicted, and have gone in at least once a month ever since. Today Im making a day of it and hitting as many Crossroads as I can. I love that I can walk out with 5 pieces of designer clothing for $100. My closet is stuffed with clothes Ive bought at Crossroads. If I ever leave L.A. I will miss it more than almost anything else.

Honestly don’t waste your time here. I tried to sale one pair of shoes and wait for over an hour and 30 min. I was told to “keep it” Bc no one would buy them. (They were designer heels)The employees are slow and spend more time gossiping and walking aroundThey judge people, I saw many come in with 3+ bags of clothing and waited longer than me only to be told they didn’t want any of their stuff Bc it’s not what people would buyA guy got 42$ for his 170$ shoes because the shoe size was not what they wanted.Like at least offer people some bucks.I saw the employs instantly start giggling and whisper to another and look at the people who just got regected.I suggest you go somewhere else or try selling online than go here and sell your clothes or buy overpriced second hand clothes.

The buyer could be picky. I tried to sell once, she didnt like any of my stuff. If she decides to take something, she will give it a price tag and you get 1/3 of the marked price.

A week ago I dropped a duffle bag off of clothes (designer Dolce & Gabana, Lanvin, Isabel Marant and some nice J.Crew wool coats) with the 24-hour turn around service. I requested that they call me before donating anything. When coming by to pick up my things yesterday, they said they didnt take a single thing and donated all of my clothes... including the duffle bag that I brought my things in. Some of these items I could have sold on eBay for $150+ an item, but thought it might be easier than photographing each individual item and measuring. I dont reccomend anyone purchase or support such an unethical company. They completely ripped me off and donated without my consent. If I were to go back there I would more than likely see a cashier wearing my clothes or see them floating around on the racks. It was such a disappointing experience and the worst scenario could have happened.
