Ulta is a one-stop-shop for hair and facial products ... and I get my haircuts here from Jeanna -- she is great! Highly recommend Jeanna and her colleagues, as you are getting the elite quality haircut of a high-end salon for a very reasonable price. She works on men and women, and does coloring, too.

I visited the Ulta Santa Monica location on the hunt for Camille Rose products. I was not able to find the Camille Rose products, but I found a brush for natural hair. Even though I was not able to find what I was originally seeking, I found the store to be well-stocked. I also discovered that they have stylists on duty. This really is a one stop beauty shop.

Cleo at Benefit Brow Bar is incredible!! She is professional, kind, and always helping my brow look the best! I would never go to or trust anyone else with my eyebrows!

Service was very disappointing. It took very long for staff to assist as I could see staff in the store but no one on the floor assisting.Similarly there was only one cashier and a queue building up.Used to better service from other Ulta stores.

Is definitely a friendly, clean and post importantly, is always stocked. I enjoy going there, during lunch and i always find what i need. Now my only issue is that i have to always flag someone down, but for the most part, when i do get someone to help me, they are very friendly.

This store has become a new obsession for me! I feel like a little kid in a candy store when I walk through the front door. Everyone here is super helpful, but especially Habla. She has helped answer so many questions for me and even though I probably border on annoying, she is still super helpful. I just love this place.

Make up artist, Paris, was above and beyond helpful. Whole staff was in great spirits. We came in with a scheduling problem and they helped in seconds. Great place of business!!

All staff here were extremely helpful and friendly. While in the store they dealt with two very difficult customers who were quite unpleasant and the staff were all patient and dealt with the situations the best they could. Store was tidy, clean and well stocked. Highly recommend this Ulta location.

The girl who picked up the phone needs to work on customer service skills. I asked if she could check if she had something in stock and she replied with “ugggh” and then said “hold on we’re busy right now”. As busy as work can get, that’s no way to talk to a customer. Nice store, bad customer service.

I was visiting from out of town. Every sales associate was super friendly and asked if I needed help. Very clean, well stocked and organized compared to some ULTA stores Ive been in. Found everything I was out of. 😊

I love Ulta and Im so happy a new one opened up in Santa Monica not too long ago. Ive been a number of times now. The customer service is always excellent and everyone is so helpful with any questions you may have. The store is always clean and stocked well.There is metered parking throughout the streets and a small pay by space lot across the street next to the coffee shop.

I thought it odd that a large corner store has no parking. I went for OPI nail polish and the inventory at this store was pretty limited.

The check out counter is a nightmare. Too bad they arent more efficient (and nice!) They were supposed to order something they were out of and have it sent but after three tries on some little machine they use I gave up and left.Would not go back.

The management of the Salon was incredibly rude and very unprofessional the last time I had my hair cut at this location over a year ago, that Ulta Beauty lost my business. Very obnoxious in tone and voice too. Additionally, I was taken aback by the hair dresser named Sandra who caused the manager to be rude to me in an effort to save her own self after performing a careless blow dry which she said was included in the hair cut, only to charge me an additional $50 out of nowhere, leaving me to be harassed by said manager. It was very unpleasant.

I went to get my eyebrows waxed at the benefit brow bar. The lady who did it asked if I would want the upper lip and chin done. I told her to do only the areas needing it. Next thing I know shes doing my whole face! My hair is naturally light, so all Ive ever usually do are my brows and upper lip. Please see the pictures of my face after her waxing.I Calle the headquarters of the company Benefit and the said it was the stores responsibility. I called Ulta and they did nothing either. By the way, Ive been getting waxed for over 26 years and nothing like this has ever happened to be before.

Staff was little help to almost talked me out of choosing a good mascara. Came in with my heart set on one by Lancome that was reviewed by Khloe Kardashian. Guess it just wasnt the sales teams day or I better be certain myself.

I recently went to this location and compared to the usual ulta I go to it was lacking in customer service was not greeted i dont mind it much but i wasnt asked if i needed any help or if Im looking for something in particular nothing at all i spent a good hour in there walking around finding the products i wanted normally if i wander about for at least 5 min usually someone would come and ask if i needed any help or assistance not on this location if anything i felt like i was being avoided and ignored on purpose and during check out as i waited in line i noticed that only particular customers were being treated with all smiles and laughs but as soon as it was my turn it was completley different i dont know if it was a bad day or anything but i felt not welcomed this was the first and last time Im ever going to that location ill stick to my usual ultaPs only when i was leaving the store did i ask a question to an associate she was nice enough to answer a few questions also the only reason why i gave this location 2 stars

Store looks awesome! So nicely laid out. Took me a while to look around fully (so much bigger than sephora), and every so often the very friendly sales people checked to see if i needed help.

Horrible Service! Was in there literally 15 minutes NO ONE asked me for help, I had to wait in line to just get a concealer pulled out for me, the short girl gave me the dirtiest look, I asked her whats her problem, she said they have No more of the tarte concealer without checking, I was going to buy a lot of products I saw while waiting in line forever, I just walked out! Experience was HORRIBLE!!Unfortunately I live down the street location is perfect, this is the third experience Ive attempted, time to Complain big time!!!!!!

The employees at this Ulta are always really friendly. Ive been to many ultas in many states and Ive never experienced such a positive Ulta team. I was also purchasing a nutrogena sunscreen Ive been wanting to try (I work ourside,) while I was waiting in line I found a Clinique spf sample box in the travel size section, and so I thought it was just a really small travel size. It was for a Clinique mens spf 25. Im a firm believer that all spfs should sell travel sizes since there are so many and its always so hard to find a good one. So I was really excited when I saw this sample.it didnt have a price on it so I brought it to the counter and asked for the price. The cashier whos name I believe is Kelly, because that is whats on my receipt put it aside and started to finish taking my coupon she asked for my number for the rewards and I dont know if its because she saw my platnium member status, but she said, no what.. you can just have the sample. This made my last 2 weeks and was an awesome way to start my new year! I had been having a really bad couple of weeks, I dont celebrate holidays cause my family is all on the east coast and I cant afford to see them so I am always alone for Christmas and New years. Getting the free sample really cheered me up though! In the past at other ultas I would only ever get the free gift with purchase if I asked, and I would always feel bad asking cause it made me feel like a jerk, so its pretty typical that I never get my free gifts with pruchase(when there is one.) I think it might have to do with me being a guy. Im so happy I had to run to my car and write a review about how nice this Ulta is and how nice I was treated by this one employee! Thank you! This place has all the inventory style of Sephora but none of the customer service. Employees are uninformed and sparce.There is also NO PARKING so dont be deceived by the ULTA PARKING signs in the back, because u risk getting blocked in and an employee shrugging and reprimanding you for parking in the first place.

Really like this ulta but sadly never coming back. Visited ulta with a friend and once we walked in we both felt and instant hovering over my friend and I by the floor manger. We ignored it and continued to walk around test make up and eventually leaded is to ask for help on finding the best foundation for both of us and that was an amazing experience but after when we had gotten everything we needed we continued to walk around and stoped and look at lip balms I got one and put in the bag my friend and I were sharing with our items we wanted to buy and then she pointed to the one she had ( bought a month ago) and then I said we should go pay. the floor manger came up to her asking if she needed a bag for the balm she got and my friend had not gotten balm from the stand whatsoever. The floor manger probably asked us if we needed help about 4 times throughout this visit and honestly I felt she was racially profiling us since we walked in and being acussed at the end of stealing a 4 dollar lip balm after spending 140$ really just ruined the day.

Good range of products but the staff on checkout made me feel bad about myself.
