This store is typical of all Whole Foods stores, busy, expensive, good quality food and lots of variety. Not my go-to store but it was convenient in location.
Everyone I asked to help me find something did.Very friendly.I dont know my way around the store so I was grateful for the help!
One of the worst whole foods in LA. Consistently out of everything you want. Consistently removing stock that used to be standard at all whole foods. Either its Amazon which has ruined this chain or the buyer for this store doesnt have a clue.
Im so glad I came into this location and decided to start shopping at whole foods. This location has amazing much bigger selection of food and toiletries than other locations. The service was outstanding, the lady who works there helped with a price check and showed us where the we parked and what level. The cosmetic section is neat and hygenic, thats very important, they also had the concealer tips cut off, so you would use the disposable tips. A big selection of skincare and protein powders. Very clean corner to sample coffee too.
Well presented merchandise, yet mark up on prices too high.
Become relatively reasonably priced lately especially compared to neighbor Erewhon. Love the selection.
Yummy!Look at this buffet, self serve! Something for everyone. A favorite stop by the beach
Everyone loves Whole Foods that’s a fact my issue was in the plant department where I picked a beautiful orchid and purchased, then I asked for the leaves to be wiped for plant presentation and I asked for the little card, normally comes with a plant but neither of the services were availableI returned this plant because it was not in a condition worthy of giving as a gift
Large size store, big variety of items, excellent food and salad bar, always full and busy
I live in Westwood (the Westwood Whole Foods is two blocks from my apt), but Id rather drive to this WF because of the quality and variety of their products, AND the workers at the meat counter are professional and friendly (much better service than at the Westwood WF).
Was nice place with a small slection
Was it (ha! Ha! And a Baggins hehehMeow) West Hollywood or 3rd St. & Fairfax? Totally different Whole Foodses. I have gone to both since they were born; both are on Fairfax, but at worlds apart intersections. The northerner one is un peu wacky; a trifle like the market in Hot Fuzz without the danger & violence; more punk, more likely to break into a musical routine from Chess or the newer Cats. More edgy.Μεν δε, the WFM on W. 3rd St. is grounded. I am always at ease there; I may be twitchy, but the staff are stable : I feel protected inside this market. The food selection leads me to buy more than I can carry (this happens at W. Hllywd & Arroyo Paz, too) ; I stagger to my bus. I wish they stocked Rind dried fruits. Erewhon does. WFMs do carry Solely dried fruit, which is also a feast of dried chew-chew fruit. I have a craving for dried fruit. Rind is bittersweet. Yummo!! Szinpömpå.
Prices are too high for the quality - quality is more hype then real. They could do way better - healthy food 4 all
Love the quality available at Whole Foods. But, there is something not quite right when you reach for fresh baked bread and instead of being squishy....its, frozen! Too many times the Food for Life Ezekiel bread is hard and cold. If thats how its done, cant you manage to thaw it out before putting on the shelf? Small things make a difference these days.
My usual place to.shop. For my dietary preferences, they carry everything i enjoy.
Cool app. I saved money. Great food and great staff. Healthy products.
Overpriced and for wealthy and trendy not affordable or worth it
The store has better selection than most WFs. Although Google lists otherwise, there is NO Curbside pick up. I had store pick up multiple times, everything was always great and I was met with at the cashier area minutes after I checked in. Still, it would be nice to have Curbside. Most employees I came across with were super nice and helpful.
Customer service in the juice bar could be better
I gave this rating, b/c it is too small. Will not find everything you can find at other locations. It is just convenient to have around the block.
Great street organized and interesting store
Extremely filthy and smelly garage. Should be steam cleaned.
I love wholefood market. I love how big it is i love how clean it is i love how organized it is i love how friendly the staff is i love their selection of organic produce, their meet is fresh. Probably my favorite grocery store
Not a great experience at this Whole Foods compared to the other stores the Whole Foods has. Its small and crowded, you might not find as many of the specialty items is the larger ones. Expect to be greeted by a sewage smell if you park on the very bottom level of the parking garage. I also felt humiliated when the checker told me to stand 6 feet away when I was already standing on the sticker. And no restroom.
Only gave 4 Stars because the checker personal are not always friendly. They have some hard to find foods.I like their fresh made breads. The deserts are very good.
The food from here actually looks fresh
This location by far has the worst customer experience, some of the cashier are rude and none friendly, i had continuously made complaints to their upper management but it doesnt seem to make a difference, i used to go regularly to this location but not anymore...only when i have no choice do i go there. This location is poorly run, and the energy is just uninviting....these employees look miserable maybe should find different job....
Store is very nice staff is friendly
They had just what I needed low cost snacks ate some potatoes wedges and a chicken strip for 2.50
This was the Wilshire store. For the first time it was not crowded enough for me to go in. By the time I got to check out it was a little crowded. Id be careful.
Let me start by saying the regular grocery store part of this location is the same as anywhere else, no particular complaints.my review isspecifically about the deli area wherethey make the sandwich. i’m annoyed with the lack of consistency. every time i go there i get the same chipotle chicken sandwich. why is it different every time? depending on who makes it i can either have an amazing sandwich, or i can have a flavorless, dry mess. the two factors that seem to affect it are the amount of sauce used, and how they cook the chicken. at this point i now realize i have to always ask for extra sauce probably, but this is a training issue.i feel bad writing this review because the staff has always been really nice and helpful, but my friends and family also have had similar issues with this location.
Was treated rudely by two managers. Acted like they wanted know what I wanted and dismissed me and tried to say I was rude. Phoned in an order for a juice was hung up on and was over charged. I ordered an all base juice which I have had here and numerous other Whole Foods consistently for the base price. They charged me for a custom. I said they should have told me on the phone that I would be charged that way. Waited in line outside because of social distancing for a half an hour when I could of just came in and picked up my order. Will not patronize a store that doesn’t value me when they charge such high prices. The even told me not to come back 5/15/20 at 4:30pm. Very rude discourteous and no care for my request or complaint and insult added to injury. If you don’t fix this problem with your procedure with management and courtesy I will not return and spend my hard earned money. I will further tell other healthy minded food shoppers of my experience and encourage them not to shop with you.
My favorite location. The staff is genuinely friendly and Im a personal shopper and use this store a lot. The butchers are especially helpful and I love the vegan/ vegetarian hot/ cold food case😍
Walking distance from UCLA hospital.
Probably my favorite whole foods so far, and a lot of that credit goes to the bakery. After being disappointed to not find the fruit tart at a nearby whole foods, we called this location. They not only had 1, but a few that were just looking so fresh and mouthwatering. The customer service was excellent and the fruit tart was most definitely fresh and beautiful even after close inspection at home. The perfect birthday cake! They make the best looking pastries at this whole foods and should be rewarded for that!
Definitely a foodie destination. But not one of those menus where you struggle to find something you like. Lots of great options for the simple to and more creative diner alike.
Friendly staff I like to go in there for a quick snack or maybe a lunch they have very nice organic products I went into purchase some body wash because it was on sale Jasons for $8.99 try it its nice
I come to this WF thanks to a convenient location. But the female security was following me, checking in my cart, questioning me why I left my cart by meat section. What the hell is this place?!! I was considerate of others that’s why I pulled my cart and left six feet away so I don’t block this tiny hallways. And third time, she was again following me told me my mask is falling if my nose. I want to know why this security was following me? I will never go back to this WF.. it was humiliating and very uncomfortable.
Parking isnt ideal, and the store is always busy (pre-Covid), but the staff is always so friendly and they have a great selection. Prime Now pick-ups during Covid times are super efficient and easy.
Delicious fresh fruits & veggies & all fresh fish...
Happy to see theyre back up and running at 100%... With only a few changes. Theyre my favorite store. I missed going there.
No almond nog, no gingerbread, but lots of great stuff for vegan-uary
This Whole Foods location is convenient and usually not too crazy, but offers little in the way of staff to help to answer questions, its like this place has turned into the Home Depot customer service equivalent of grocery stores after Amazon took over...really a shame. Plenty of underground parking and usually someone directing traffic. The store itself is on the smaller size, but make no mistake, they pack all the essentials and much more into the space. Stop by and do check out their flower selection, its usually fantastic and the wife would definitely appreciate it fellas!
Everything was great, especially the creme brulee we got from bakery. Also got a great breakfast quiche. Only thing I didnt like was the lines and the in and out. The elevator crammed with people and their reusable bags was a little off putting.. It was crammed. The store itself was awesome though. Just dont expect much for soda.. I dont know what I was thinking but they only have their own brand cola and its salt free which makes the soda taste less potent or something.. And a six pack of it cost like 5 dollars.
One of the bigger Whole Foods in the area. Pretty well stocked even in the time of COVID-19.That said feels a little older inside, clearly been a few years since the last refresh-- but not ready for one yet...
Poor use of space. Very narrow shopping aisles on one side of store. Very good prepared foods section.
JennieO Turkey bratwurst isnt sold within a hundred miles from here but WF has organic Chicken Bratwurst, its a bit to peppery for my taste but but still great bratwurst and as a Amazon prime member I get an extra discount on some items.Unfortunately this WF doesnt carry Clean Well products.
One of the better whole foods, too bad staff still have attitudes...
Close to home, great staff, but less selection than other Whole Foods locations.
Always very good.
It seems as though half of them love being there while enjoying themselves whereas the other half is the polar opposite. Some seem to know where everything is and others will tell you a general direction where to find what it is Im looking for but thats what the different sections and aisles are there for... the awesome people here make up for the ones that arent. I wouldnt even accept the excuse that it could have been just that one day but it seems like theres a select amount of people just make no effort than minimally necessary. Its even worse when their demeanor changes for someone attractive. I love the place and most of the people, but I hate the inconsistencies ...
The.Hot.Food.Bar.
Good prices! The quality and product selection is wonderful. Its orientation is appropriate, the staff are helpful hence easy to shop.
Don’t let Dora make your sandwiches. You will end up paying nine dollars for stale bread that you can’t eat. What a waste of money. It’s obvious when you try to cut through the bread that it’s not good.
I love the organic produce and other products 🤩🐱
Gotta say the service level has been declining for some time. Downside:Staff feels surly, lucky to get things bagged, etc. Upside: Always have what I need. Just funny that the service level would be so poor for somewhere that folks come back day after day . . .
In any other non-Covid time, this market would rate 5 stars because of quality of goods and personnel. But at this time, the small size and narrow aisles gives one pause for thought about using the market.
Honestly I really tired of disappointed service in Whole FoodsIt’s impossible to get anything here
A gentleman staff member rwas very helpful with what I was looking for and the store looked great. Sad to see the location near the Promenade is gone.
I love smoked white fish but they stopped stocking it and would not order some for me so I went to Fromins Deli and they took care of me. I probably wont be back to Whole Foods for quite awhile.
Absolutely Horrible set up with Coronavirus. No one was distancing, employees werent really making sure the store was spread out. Aisles were harder than normal to navigate.
They are taking distancing seriously. Not a lot of people allowed in at a time and baskets are sterilized. Appreciated.
Bad shopping experiences here in the past. The employees seem to be very rude. Would consider shopping at a different location. Also noticed a sign on the front door confirming multiple covid infections, beware.
Worst service Ive ever seen or had at any Whole Foods. ~20 minutes at the meat counter, ~15 for the cold bar, and 2 checkout lanes with a dozen people in each line. Avoid this spot if possible.
My Neighborhood location! Always my to go to store for healthy/ fresh food and veggies! The food bar is perfect for a grab and go meal.
Pick up was completely unorganized..chaos
Great place to shop for organic vegetables and fruits! Having a healthy diet is key for your overall heath. Friendly & helpful staff .
Overall the best Whole Foods in the area. Many products and very spacious. Good parking, and they are always giving samples of products for customers to try. They should try to clean the bathrooms more often however. Competitive prices for premium quality products. Overall good.
Secret Revealed: Whenever I am in a New City, I seek out Whole Foods for lunch and/or dinner. Never the same, and yet, the Quality is always on point, and I can get the vibe of the people more readily and what out any awkwardness. Price is the same wherever I am, and that is nice too!
Theres like..nothing here? Extremely small bulk section super pricy produce, miserable staff...very oppressive environment. Id rather spend at sprouts (who has an amazing bulk selection) or erewhon (who has a great environment and happy employees) and Bristol farms has good cookies. I can unequivocally say that despite wanting to enjoy and be excited by whole foods, there was absolutely nothing to glean any joy from.
Prices are high, as is known. Very good selection of vegetarian foods. Friendly staff.
I love this place and cannot recommend it enough. Its location is convenient and there are a variety of products, fairly priced and of high quality.
Parking below the store location was so much easier than finding a space on Wilshire Blvd. or in the nearby cross-streets! And this location is much larger in sq.footage than the WF that I frequent the most often (Gayley Ave., 90024).
Love this Whole Foods. It is HUGE. So glad I am closeby AND that it’s open during corona. I always get a TLT sandwich from the sandwich area they have, they make it fresh and I ask them to put it in the panini press so it’s warm. Yum. It comes with a garlic aioli that is sooo good.
This whole foods is fine but the layout is odd and aisles tend to get choked up.
I know that its been a while since they opened this location. Bit I am still grateful for having place to eat healthy on my lunch break. Nothing is better that whole foods food corner.
Impressed by the high quality of produce, but slightly disappointed by the lack of niche ingredients, specifically asian produce and ingredients.
Whole Foods is the only place we will to for birthday cakes in my office. The chocolate mousse is the group favorite by far.We laugh and call it Whole Paycheck when someone says they are going grocery shopping but we are willing to spend the money on their cakes.
Food quality is perfect.
I frequently come here to buy some grocery. I enjoy the fast service and well prepared food. 5 stars.
Whole Foods has the best produce, meat, fish. It is always fresh and I love the time they in an perfect presentation. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, making a mundane trip for groceries a more enjoyable.
The staff seems very friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are very affordable! Overall a surprisingly enjoyable experience!
I love Whole Foods they just make it so easy. Going to other grocery stores you have to look at labels vs at Whole Foods they do that. Example juice, its so hard to find all natural none concentrated juices at regular markets. Iv spent looking at other markets for 30min trying to find the healthiest juice too high in sugar even if organic. Walk into Whole Foods and less than 5min in and out. Thank you.
Every one in this store is cold not inviting.
This is definitely one of my favorite Whole Foods to humongous store always clean well-maintained huge selections of meat dairy products you can order sandwiches pizza pasta salads huge of a selection of warm foods shelves are always well-maintained store is always clean.
Love love the new lower prices since Amazon bought them! Amazon is taking over the world, but thats ok by me! Great selections and great produce. I Love the free parking garage and quick lines.
Very accessible spot to purchase grocery needs.Wider, spacious and lots of local and imported items.
Overpriced but natural products are well priced. Organic??? Asked my friends. Lots of Organic things on the market. They sell larger produce than most. If you eat it right AWAY it will stay fresh.
My favorite market. Being an Amazon Prime member is saving me a lot on my grocery bill. It keeps me coming back. Lots of great grocery prices and special deals since Amazon bought Whole Foods.
Whole Foods was socially distant and well stocked.
Always Fresh, Clean and Nice! Great customer service!!
