I have never met a more detail oriented and overwhelmingly patient staff! These guys took care of me one morning in a pinch, JUST as they were opening the doors! Can’t recommend them enough! Love the small business and love that they are local.

I love Smith Hardware. Its an old-style mom-and-pop hardware store, with a broad selection. Service is courteous and knowledgeable. They also have a decent selection of plants at good prices, and are able to answer questions about their care. Smiths is a wonderful resource for the community. Whats not to love?

Mr. Smith and staff meet you as you come in with a great big hello and smile.Their very helpful whenever needed.They take the time to explain it in simple terms.Most important...You cant beat the prices!!!

Very friendly staff. Mom and pop type small store. Didnt have what I needed but the son or grand son went over and beyond 2 try 2 find it!! Very attentative and 1 on 1 personal attention 2 me! Highly recommend this business for hardware and flowers. Very caring staff, the way it should b everywhere!! Kudos 2 the Smiths!!

Convenience over price, but found a saw that was cheaper than you can find it elsewhere. Nice selection of plants and flowers out front: asparagus ferns in hanging baskets, some dogwood trees, succulents and a variety of flowers. Tight inside and sometimes not super friendly, but maybe they get busy and are tired. Glad they can keep it going for north Mobile area.

Old fashioned hardware store. You can buy radish seeds by the pound or get replacement pins for the door hinges that you lost from yourself or a thingy for the burner in the oven...and when you describe it to the people who work there they know what you mean and can get you to the right place on the shelf, politely!

Love this place, Ive shopped here for well over 25 years, I was able to buy a burner for my 1950s vintage hotpoint stove. Every year I buy products for my yard to keep fleas and other insects/bugs away...they have everything from seeds, plants, plumbing, electrical and moore!

Family owned & operated store. Friendly service. Youd be better off going here rather than Lowes & Home Depot. Small businesses like this are the backbone of our communities. Support them as frequently as you can.

Gotta love this place. Dont ever remember going there looking for something for a project, and not being able to find something that would work. They have a lot if stuff you just dont find at the chain hardware or big box stores. Friendly folks, convenient location, reasonable prices, and great selection of plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous mechanical parts, tools and supplies for home and garden. Really good selection of quality plants and bushes.

Best local mom and pop hardware store. We love shopping and visiting the Smiths. It feels like going back in time. I wish there were more places like this where the owners take time to speak to you and ask about your family. You can also get advice from people with experience. I always check there before I go to the big hardware stores. Support local first.
