Ive been to this business twice and have had two great experiences. They stand by the work theyve done to your vehicle and the work done is also held accountable by your mechanic. I needed air and only had quotes over $300-$500 minimums. They helped me for a very fair price and did my tune up for my trip to MN. I am very satisfied by the work done and the customer service was very welcoming and professional.
These folks are great. I highly recommend them.
Awesome professional service for all your trailer needs!!
Great trailer repair shop. They installed 2 heavy duty axles and 4 tires at a very affordable price. The owner was eager to assist and kept me in the loop to get the job done right the first time! Would use them again for sure!
I was experiencing multiple issues with my car after purchasing a car on FB Marketplace. Being upset and didnt know where to go, until a chance encounter with Frank the owner. The care, patience and determination I received until my car was fixed was impecable! I was doubtful anything could be done. The mechanics Gage, Hunter, and Robert were so polite. Bruce showed such kindness Everytime I called and Frank was the epitome of a 5 star business owner! I highly recommend this car shop to everyone!!
Great set of guys. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable
Im a little bias, but I love this place.Great people who treat you like family.
They made sure I had the right parts before I left and it was almost closing time on a Friday. They never rushed me
Stopper to see if they would hook the gauges to my ac system to tell me if there was pressure in the system. Offered to pay a diagnosis fee. This is literally a less than 5 minute procedure. There was a mechanic sitting down smoking, the lady in the office was very snappy and said I cant do it today. You can come tomorrow if you want us to look at it. I was test driving the car trying to see if it just needed a recharge or if it was going to be a costly repair. I offered $50 for a 3 minute job with a mechanic sitting down outside.
Excellent work Frank! Kind, courteous, very knowledgeable staff. My Load-Rite boat trailer supplied by Boston Whaler back in 1997 was grossly under size (to maximize profit and put safety at risk, all major components were rated for less than the expected weight of boat, trailer, and accessories) and was not assembled correctly... the springs failed and I replaced them as well as the bearing hubs after purchasing the package last November... then the axle broke on the Truman Parkway August 20, luck that the axle only split at both ends and did not fail completely... never trust even the most reputable OEMs! Based on the original specifications of the trailer and boat, failure was just a matter of time.I had the boat towed on a flat bed over to New Era and they manufactured a new 3500# rated axle and new hubs installed in just a few days.Thank you Frank, it is a pleasure doing business with you and your trained staff... I highly recommend your business to anyone needing good service work completed.
We went to this auto repair shop a few months back hands down this was the worst experience, they kept my car for a very prolonged period of time (of which I had planned on needing the car the day they promised it back to me and then they pushed back the date.) to replace the axel on the left side of my car and after they replaced it the car began to make a terrible grinding sound. I recorded the sound to show them because I figured they would try and blame the noise on another source (which they tried to pin the grinding on my power steering pump which was a noise I was already fully aware of.) Luckily because of my recording they had no choice but to fix the problem (Which in the end they tried to say was wire wrapped around the axel from the highway, I never saw the wire.) The management at this place is astonishingly awful the owner and the woman behind the phone are incredibly rude, their card readers barely worked so they overcharged me by 2-3 times one charge got removed and when we spoke about removing the other charge they went in the back and said we didnt deserve a refund for the improper service they provided. Not to mention the refund they were discussing was the overcharge, and on top of all this they said they tightened my motor mounts, I came back from a new mechanic today to find that one motor mount is broken, one is cracked, and the others are failing. Either they broke my mounts or they just didnt tell me that my car was riding on dangerous mounts. I would never recommend this auto shop to anyone looking for a decent and properly timed repair.
I bring my vehicles here and have always been satisfied. As long as I continue to get old clapped out vehicles, I know I have a mechanic I can trust!
He worked on my truck last week, great job . Everything working great!!
Very honest and reliable I would recommend New Era to anyone needing help.
I am former auto tech, but was intimidated when I was ready to install a new limited slip differential. I have been out of the buisness for well over a decade and conduct all services and repairs to myself. Being very picky as I do not have the special tools or time to do it myself I was eventually referred to New Era. I went to two different shops before coming here and both gave me bad information about vehicle repairs. And this was from the owners. (BTW, if anyone goes to the South East Auto Service please let them know the difference between an open, LSD, and posi-track rear end.)The guys at New Era were great. I was stranded from my partner picking me up and I hung out and chatted with the shop owner and various techs for about 2 hours. The owner, Frank (I think) immediately lifted my truck and we discussed what I wanted. He gave VERY sound advise and a reasonable quote. I was sold. Even after he tried to put me to work in the shop and taught me a little about F350 van injector problems I was on my way. I also knew they were not replacing the output seals (strange design and very expensive to replace.) and there was a possibility they would leak, to no fault of theirs. I was actually ready for them to leak. They subd my exhaust out for welding, great job on stainless, and installed my rear end in a timely manner. They returned my old part with no questions and I was on my way. Frank (sp?) cautioned me to watch for axle leaks. I did.I got home and both sides were leaking. I knew this was no fault to them, hopefully washed them off, and drove for a few days. They were still leaking. I called and they gave me preventive mesures so I didnt cause any damage and said to bring it back.I brought it back and Frank put it on the lift. I showed him the leaks and he said no problem. I told them to let me know how much it would cost as I ws prepared to pay because of our previous agreements. I was expecting another bill of about 1k for these special Nissan rear sealed axle seals. They called me up and said my truck was fixed. I got to the point I pled with them to pay them something because I strongly feel the leak was not their fault as we previously discussed. They REFUSED to take money. It makes me feel a little bad because I know they lost money on this job. I can only repay them by posting the best review I have ever written.TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! It is worth the time, they are honest, and you will save money. I wish they would have taken some money. They even touched up some of the welding because I am a little anal about those things and they wouldnt let me pay for the re-sublet for welding. I would like to formally thank everyone at New Era for everything. I left a couple dual skid marks as thanks in your driveway. Love the differential. You guys seriously Rock!
Honest, Good Work & Fair Prices!
Best shop in town.
