This shop made too many excuses as to when my truck would be completed. This was supposed to be a V8 swap. They did everything correct until connecting all the wires. This was a ride I wanted to enjoy this summer, but they started running into issues with the wiring and said they brought an expert to work on it. They said it was good to drive. I got it and the problems they said the ‘expert’ worked on was never fixed. I doubt they even brought in an expert. I had to get it towed from them and took it to another shop to be completed as shop owner wouldn’t admit they couldn’t complete project. This shop lied to me about it being able to drive. As of now, local shop is able to work on it as everyplace in Savannah is over booked to work on projects like this. Local shop said the wiring and programming is all wrong. So this business left me with a vehicle that still doesn’t start even though they said it would. So I had to take it to a local expert to complete the project. If this place said they didn’t know what else to do, I’d be fine with that and wouldn’t be writing this review.

The staff at streets and sons exceed my expectations. The staff kept me updated regarding the status of my vehicle and efficiently diagnosed my vehicle, saving me time and money. The guys at this shop are honest, stand up guys. I highly recommend their service.

BEWARE!!!!! If you want to go into debt, definitely pay them a visit, took my car to them, they promised to fix it and they charged me for new parts and labor that didn’t fix the problem. They play guessing games with diagnosis’s of issues at your cost and refused to accept fault. Reach out if you need to see the exorbitant charges! NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY, VISIT ANY OTHER MECHANIC

Very honest and reputable company. My father took his truck there for a second opinion after being told the timing chain blew apart in the engine ($6,000+ replacement cost). Lorene and crew found the issue that afternoon, it was the valve guide. Sometimes its hard to find honest companies that give honest opinions without seeing dollar signs. Streets and Sons made me feel at home and like family. I brought my 2018 Toyota 86 for a brake job, suspension tune up, mount + balance new wheels and tires, and an alignment. When I brought the car to them, it was all over the place. It made squeaking sounds, drove rough, etc. I Installed after market coilovers and brakes on the car myself and I knew it wasn’t at its fullest potential. I’m still new and learning about the mechanics of cars. Streets and Sons took care of me and checked over everything. The car rides so much smoother, makes no sounds, and even feels like a softer ride. I feel much safer driving the car now. It’s incredible how much a proper alignment can change the car. During the process, I would receive photos and text updates which made me feel very comfortable as I care a lot about my car. I’m extremely happy with the quality of work will definitely return!

It is hard to find a great trustworthy mechanic but this place made it easy. They have straight forward pricing, great work and fast. Called on a Thursday needing a wheel bearing, I picked up my car Friday at lunch. These guys are great, polite and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone in Savannah.

Despite me walking in 45 minutes before their closing time, I was still given EXCELLENT service. Even gave me a great deal on the oil change. This is the shop Im taking my car too for all my needs.

Brought my diesel F250 to have injector changed. They where able to find other issues while inside and repair. Also had electrical charging issues (Rats chewed my main engine Harness) they where able to diagnose and repair the same day for a Fraction of the cost of buying a new harness. They repaired all my steering steering issue and changed wheel bearings. All-around very impressed with the shop and the staff.

Amazing business. Purchased a car that I noticed sounded a little loud and had issues with the power lock and windows. They diagnosed the issues quickly and were able to schedule the repairs at a time convenient for me. As a female knowing nothing about cars and going to a mechanic on my own for the first time, I found Lorne to be incredibly helpful and assuring. He didnt try to salesperson me into getting services that I didnt need. He thoroughly explained the issues and broke down the costs for me so Id know what I was paying for. This shop is a bit out of the way for me, but I will most certainly return for any future car troubles or maintenence.

Location almost gave me reason not to give five stars. However, the service here is leaps and bounds beyond that of the stand alone U-Haul on Ogeechee Rd. At the Export BLVD location (unlike the Ogeechee one), I was greeted promptly and treated with courtesy and respect. If you want U-Haul fast, go to the Export BLVD location. If you want to wait for 30 minutes before someone even acknowledges your presence, go to the Ogeechee store.
