I purchased over $250 for an order I made online. I received an email that indicated that my order was ready for pickup. I proceeded to the store and called for curbside pickup as directed in the email. I called 2 times. No answer back to back. After the 3rd call, someone picked up after about 9 rings. I asked for curbside pickup of my order. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes. When the associate finally picked back up, she then told me that they were helping other customers inside the store and that there would be a wait. I asked if it were easier if I came inside. She said no and ended the call. I then waited 20 more minutes in my vehicle. At this point, I decided to go inside. When I walked in, the same associate asked if I was the lady calling about a pickup order and I said yes. She said they are slammed with customers and Id have to wait. Um, what am I? Oh wait, a customer who has already paid for my purchase! I told her that it doesnt seem like these customers had to wait 20+ minutes for service so I got into the checkout line that was moving quickly so that I could be considered a customer. Once I did this, it prompted the associate to finally retrieve my order. When I approached the cashier at my turn, she asked me what I needed and I said that Im a customer who would like to pick up my order. I tried to show her my phone to scan the pickup barcode and she said she didnt need that. But the email said to have an associate scan....??? I then had to wait in the line for the original associate to come back with my items and of course, they still needed to scan it so I still had to wait longer. I waited twice as long as any other customer because I waited in my car AND the checkout line. Giving one customer type precedence over another is poor service. Not only did the associates make me feel like my business was not important, I was also hugely inconvenienced for it taking almost 40 minutes to pick up an order that was already paid for and marked ready for pick up. Did I forget to mention that when the associate finally decided to help me, another cashier asked for help with someone else and the associate stopped to help them all in front of my face! I have been a long time customer of Big Lots but this experience has definitely changed that.

Great prices great people great selection big lots is just a really cool place to go to find something that you never thought somebody would sell it might interest you big lots has kind of a mix between target Walmart and the old Kmart. They really have some interesting stuff so if you got a couple hours to spend and you want to find something you never thought somebody would sell or have it in the store go to big lots they probably have it

Went in to look at furniture. No help offered whatsoever. An employee walked by and stated we dont have that one in back, referring to one I was looking at. No other assistance was offered. Lost a sale for sure. There were other customers meandering around the furniture department on no sales associate anywhere to be found. I guess this is a self serve store!!!

A BIG Big Lots in comparison to the one in Beaufort. I have visited this one before and at that time it seemed to have more items in stock; seasonal change over may have been occurring this time. Still many items at excellent prices to choose from. Thing with Big Lots you have to check back off often, if i lived in the area I would.Friendly, helpful staff.

I buy items for work from Big lots and have managed to get a few Christmas items already

Well I can say one of my most disappointing times at big lots. You could only find prices on about 1/4 of the products. not on the Shelf not on the items not on the display. And trying to get help. Ya well when you finely find help they want me to lug everything to the register stand in line to figure out which one I want to decide on so I know what the prices are. Complete garbage for service and the store messy to say the least. Very very disappointed. Easily one of my most favorite places to treasure hunt. Big lots didnt get much of my money this time!

I felt sorry for the cashier, one person with a steady stream of people in line, maybe 15 or more people deep. She did a great job but should have had more help with the amount of business they were doing.

Had a good bit of people but they wore mask. Found what I needed because they were pretty organized and clean. Only issue was the customer behind me not maintaining the 6ft. I literally kept moving forward and so did he until I said something to him.

Attempted to make a large purchase today and basically turned away.Spent over a half hour shopping through sectional couches which are displayed on the sales floor with price tags...just to be told at the very end “we don’t sell those. You’d have to choose from what’s in stock.”When I asked for it to be ordered in I was told no.

Store was a little disorganized I guess for new stuff coming in. They have a large selection of furniture and mattresses.

I see that I have been sleeping on Big Lots. They are not as big as Wal-Mart but they have alot of savings to offer. The customer service is great and they gave me a Big Lots rewards card that offers great rewards plus $5 just for joining their rewards program. Im definitely going back. Oh yeah and they also sell FURNITURE that feels like pretty good quality!!!

I was able to find what I was looking for and by signing up for their rewards program I recieved coupons for spending a certain amount. Those coupons came in handy for my future purchases.

No time for employees will not acknowledge that you are a customer that needs help. Will not be back.

I went to this location on October 19,2020 to purchase a Christmas tree Everyone was nice and knowledgeable except the manager this particular day. The sales associate notified the manager on the Walkman and ask about a item to call another store to locate and she said it wasn’t available so I picked out other items. As I checked out -the candy didn’t ring up at sales cost and another nice sales employee check and notified the manager and the manager checked and agreed and I showed my healthcare worker ID and my rewards points she said I can’t do that but I’ve been using these discounts for months after holding the line up with a negative carefree attitude from the manager she wouldn’t let me used my discount so I proceeded to leave without my merchandise. I guess she was mad because she had a job!! I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️-I called another big lots and they had the merchandise but the manager said she called and they didn’t have it!!-This BIG LOTS store need help on Abercorn,RdI can’t wait to go to Hindsville Big Lots😁 to buy!!

Good clearance

Hubby and I went here for a bed frame that we saw online priced cheap. We get there and none of the employees were sure of where to find it or if they even had it in stock. Afyer waiting for a few employees to go and search we got the bed frame, got home & put it together but it was bent. Also, before making it home, we noticed that a strong urine smell was present in our truck. The smell was coming from the darn box so we stopped and trashed the box on the way home since the strong smell was making me sick on the way home. Needless to say, this is why we decided to keep/use our new bent bed frame due to trashing the stinky pee-smelling box before assembly. Overall. Nice store though but their prices/products arent any better than walmart or Family Dollar.

This is a good place to buy a variety of things from pools to tissue. Theres a room at the back which has products which have been opened or may have one item missing and are really discounted. They have clothing, food, shoes. what nots and more. Aisles are somewhat tight but otherwise a.nice place.

Big Lots is a great store with a little bit of everything from food, decor, household products to electronics and all for a lower price than your typical grocery stores offer. Most of the typical name brands are accessible as well as quite a few even, slightly cheaper brands. This Big Lots is in the perfect spot being a well lit, safe area that is easily seen and accessible from the main road, Abercorn Street.And fyi, the crew here have always been quite helpful and friendly, so special thanks to all the Big Lots Crews!

The guy in the furniture department was very busy, but very courteous and helpful. I honestly thought I was doomed when he told me that hed have to look in the backroom to grab the bistro table set I wanted, but he found it (after a second try). I appreciated that very much!

Very helpful bought two mattresses and they got them out to me fast and helped me and my husband load them even in 100 degree weather.

This big lots is okay, they seem to be sold out of everything though. Also the store needs a once over and organizing. Aside from that the employees or at least the guy we spoke to was nice.

Good store for lower priced household and food items. They have a furniture selection as well. Its good to catch them on the 20% off sale which happens on Saturday and Sunday, but without notice. Just have to see their signs for it.

We came in to browse and ended up getting porch furniture and tables and some decor because the prices were so great! Then to top it off the amazing store manager let us use his coupon to take off even more from our tab. Super friendly and awesome people. Extremely clean and organized store. Weve already gone back for more stuff.

Store has gone completely downhill. Shelves are empty, store a mess, and the store manager extremely rude. The only good thing about this store is the assistant manager, Denise. She is always so nice and pleasant to deal with. I will only go to the store if she is there.

While big lots is a wonderful store. This one, not to much. For everyday items the prices are good but for furniture, not so much. Which saddens me because the bank that they finance with is wonderful! But 500+ for only a dresser...really?

Not sure what has happened BUT went week before Christmas and was shocked to see one whole empty. And the numerous other shelves and Isles empty as well. Lots of boxes piled up but no one emptying them. Many of those isle were for holiday items.

It was very good and I will be going back there again in future 😊

I came from a small town, where big lots was a big deal. Here in Savannah I dont know if a lot of people go here, but I do. They have amazing deals! I bought my mattress and box springs here and also my couch. They are holding up very well after two years. They sell a little bit of everything.

It hurts to see this store look this bad. Goes to show some managers should not be managers, he managed the store like a sinking ship. Leave before you take them all down. I feel for the employees due to your lack of management skills. Maybe next time you will choose your words wisely, we do have a choice in what we do.

The tall fat man at this location has terrible customer service. I used to love shopping here. So sad that after one of the good managers left the store went downhill. Shows he doesn’t know how to run a store apparently. Store is so empty.

We received a rewarding experience at Big Lots today. Customer service was impeccable! Staff in the furniture department went above and beyond to providing outstanding satisfaction.

This store looks run down. dont know if its the pandemic but store doesnt have nearly the variety of products use to have. Its been several years since my last visit.

This store is a lot better than the store on victory drive. I love it, but sadly I cannot give it more than one star. I overheard the manager belittling some of the employees in the store. I can understand reprimanding them, but dont do it in front of customers for gods sake. He was so rude. I dont know if this man is the store manager, but he shouldnt be. I dont know his name, but he was tall, kind of fat, and almost bald. He really needs to find another calling because it obviously isnt retail
