Elite Overhead Garage Doors has a hidden gem in their head tech Mike. When Mike came to install my garage door he had already been on an all day job out of town but still came and installed my door effortlessly and professionally without not one complaint, he also walked me through setting up my wireless clicker through the app. And when a small situation arose after the initial installation, Mike returned the next day after another long day and corrected the problem in a matter of minutes. Everyone that I have spoken with at the company has been great but there is no one like Mike, he takes so much pride in his work. And my garage is gorgeous!!!!!!

Lawrence was my service guy and he did an amazing job. He was very nice and went above and beyond. Very happy with this company and highly recommend them.

Our appointment was first thing in the morning, but due to some technical issues on their end, we had to be pushed back. It happens, but there was no communication of this until we started calling, which was mildly frustrating because we had other companies coming in for other work and places to be that needed rescheduled. There were communication snafus when someone came out for the estimate too. That needs some work. HOWEVER, once they got here, Mike was fabulous. The work was quick and efficient, especially considering our door issues. Everything was fixed, and Mike took me through everything I needed to do to maintain our new equipment. I would have given 5 stars if the communication wasn’t lacking both times they were out; the work itself was great.

Mike did an excellent job. As a matter of fact he came earlier than scheduled. He was very professional and courteous and most of all patient. I highly recommend him and Elite; will definitely use again. As a matter of fact, were going to use them for preventative maintenance service.

I made review and then amended it to see if Elite would make the situation right and they did not so here is the truthTechnician improperly installed our motor (I have pictures of how it was installed improperly). Garage door broke 6 days after they charged us $425 to install new motor. Our door was stuck open 5 minutes before our house showing. we called the “24 hour repairs” number and was given horrible customer service and they “couldn’t come repair it until Monday” and would have to charge us another $400. So they wanted our garage door to sit open for 5 days as there was no way for us to safely put it down...wow.Called another garage door company who was here the next day, diagnosed problem, offered solutions and a discount. They stated it was 100% an install error from Elite, I have their write up to prove it. When I stated this to owner of Elite he claimed he “couldn’t speak on the ethics of other companies” funny statement to make when the bad ethics of YOUR company is shining brightly.Owner offered no solution other than to “give discount on labor” which was the exact same price other company quoted us. Owner stated our garage door was old and broke because of that. How ironic that it magically happened 6 days after their tech did an install....hmmmmm.24 hour tech even stated “if we came out and fixed everyone’s garage door that we did work on and then had issues within a week, we would be out of business!”. I told him that wasn’t something to brag about. Technician never mentioned any other repairs needed when he was here installing.Taking our money and our business elsewhere!

Got online and requested a quote on a new construction garage door installation. Got a call back later that night to schedule the appointment (two days out, no worries there). The next day I received a call from the representative (Brett) stating that he’d be out between 8 and 10 the next morning (Thursday). No problem.The next morning came and 8-10 came and went. No brett. I received a text around 1030 from Him stating that his last appointment ran long and he’d be out to me in 42 minutes.“ I apologize! It took longer than I expected to finish up but Im in route to you now. GPS says Ill be there in 42min”I called him back and told him I had another appointment at noon that I couldn’t be late for so if he could come out tomorrow that would be great. I’d be home all day.Brett: Same time?Me: Same time!Brett: Ok I’ll see you then and again I apologize.No issues there, it happens. Friday morning rolls around. No show. No call. WTFO!The company has a lot of reviews so I am betting that they are really good and people are really satisfied with their work when they show up. After having tried twice to get a simple estimate, I cannot recommend this company and would give it 0 stars if I could.

Garage door suddenly broke on a Friday afternoon. Called Elite for service call. Came next morning on time and called to let me know when he would arrive. Mike replaced both springs within half an hour and made adustments so garage door works better than ever. Mike was not only professional and informative but a great person to work with. I consider us very fortunate that we had Mike and Shane come and replace our garage door. We have lived in this house for three years with a garage door that sounded like the opening of hell when one pushed the button. Finally, last night at six p.m., it gave up the ghost. A cable snapped and the door was jammed in a half open position. Worried as it was after hours, we called Elite and Mike and Shane showed up within the hour. They got the door down and made a plan for the next day. They showed up when they said they would and got to work replacing the door.They did really wonderful work with the only downside being that the cat can no longer hear when the garage door is opened so hes a little perplexed as to when he can access his food.I cant say enough good things about our experience with Elite and Mike and Shane.Thank you guys very much, and the cat will get over it.Tyler

We live in a small town and asked around for help with replacing our garage door. We got a referral and had the person come out. He was hammered, tried to tell me the door we had was obsolete and I know that was a lie because Im a customer order specialist and thats what I do.. He then preceded to tell me he would need 500 up front for supplies.. We went to google and found Elite. They were 100 dollars cheaper, had all the supplies and were very professional and quick. Best decision ever!!!

So I had an emergency on 6/9/19 at approximately 8 pm and I called this company with all of this high praise and almost a 5 Star rating and I actually spoke to a representative. I explained my emergency at which time the representative said he would check their availability and call me right back. Not only did they call back but the owner Josh came out and did the repair and he was on time and very professional and he explained the problem while he repaired it which I greatly appreciated. If it was possible to give this business zero stars, I would. The lack of communication amongst technicians became my problem as the customer. Ive had to call on three different occasions about my repair, but got no where until I called for the 4th time. When I called due to no one coming to repair my door, their response was You were scheduled yesterday. Well obviously Im calling because no one showed up. Please take your business elsewhere.

Brian and Dalton just left my house after installing a new garage door and opener. Not only were they on time, but called about 1/2 hour before to let me know they were on their way. Once here, they were nothing but professional and friendly. They took extra care to make sure the door was properly adjusted, and the clean up job they did was fantastic. They left the garage and driveway in better shape then when they got here. Cannot say enough about the job they did. I am also amazed at how quiet the new door is when opening and closing. I replaced both garage doors at my house in 2018. The garage doors had been occasionally malfunctioning for a while and I finally called them back for assistance (well past my one-year warranty). Not a problem for these guys though. They came right over, took care of it, and did not charge me a dime. Mark was the tech that went above and beyond. I will use elite overhead garage doors from now on.

About 8, or so, weeks ago I called Elite to install a motor in a my primary garage. At the time I was about to start building a storage building in my backyard. Anthony gave me a quote, and I told him I would give him a call when I was ready for it. Anthony asked me to do a review back then, I just never got around to it. Last Sunday on his day off he came out to collect the deposit for the new door, and he was just as knowledgeable and courteous as he was the first time. I work in the construction industry and guys like him are a rare find. I can only imagine what the rest of Elite’s employees are like. I may need to get some hiring tips from you guys. Lol Anyway, sorry it took me so long to do the review, but don’t worry I’ve been giving the company name and number out left and right. Look forward to working with Elite, and Anthony, again soon.

I really really hope people see this review and take it in consideration when looking for a garage door company!!!!!I called very frantic about my garage door not working (I use daily) and I spoke with Melinda. Before she started trying to schedule anything she started troubleshooting with me. Everything that we did at first was not working which made me even more frantic. She heard how upset I was getting and was trying to calm me down. She spoke with her husband (I’m sorry I forgot his name) and he gave several troubleshooting suggestions. While I tried one more troubleshooting option she said “I just want to make sure we are the company that you need and not another company such as electrician” Finally it worked!!! I just want to say that I really appreciate Elite overhead garage door taking the time out to troubleshoot before they tried to take money out of my pocket.Some companies may read this and say that’s foolish to troubleshoot via phone. Send a technician out charge them a fee and deducted if something is needed, if not pay the fee. Those companies will never get far and will never have returning business. Made service call to check out my broken door. I was given two different prices for the service call by two different people. When tech arrived he didnt quote a repair he quoted a conversion kit to be installed. Let him know I was only interested in fixing what was broken. I asked him to please just close the garage for me and he told my boyfriend the door couldnt be closed. Which was untrue because I closed it after he left. The technicians dishonesty, fluctuations in service call price, and quote for more than we need to repair our garage door left me questioning this companies business practice. I would definitely beware. Im very disappointed and feel like i just threw away my money for the service call. Still looking for someone to just repair my door.

Went into the garage this AM only to find a broken counterbalance spring on the garage door. The door is too heavy to lift so our cars were trapped in the garage. Worst luck because I have to pick up someone at the Savannah airport at noon..It was 7:00 am and no garage door repair businesses were answering the phone. I tried Elite Garage Door and a real person answered and told me he would send a team out right away. At 9:00 am Dalton and Zeek arrived and fixed everything by 10:00 am. They did a terrific job and the door has never worked better. Great customer service. We are sticking with Elite for our future garage door service..

Upon completion of first unit he was having a problem with with communication of it he was able to diagnose the problem of a bad eye sensor.very impressed with quality of work ethics and a great personality.You should be happy to have an employee like him.I would recommend this company as last year they installed two new doors which we are very happy with 👍

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They dont care about the quality of their work. My NEW garage door they installed hasnt worked for a MONTH!!!Tesponse to their comments: NO ONE called me or told me that it would be 2-3 weeks to replace the garage door opener!The only reason they had to keep coming back is because they SCREWED UP and had to come back to fix it!They only came on Sunday because they had to complete my job after they pulled their crew before it was done to send them to a new job.Its been nothing but a hassle dealing with them. First, they pulled their team off my job before it was completed so they could start a new job and it took days for them to come back and finish.Then the garage door opener they installed hasnt worked right since they installed it. I asked to have it replaced but instead they just kept fixing it. They came back three times and it still doesnt work! i have been waiting almost two weeks since the last fix with no communication from them at all about when my garage door is finally going to work!Then they hung up on me when I called them today upset because my garage door wont close!!
