I took a rifle (Mosin-Nagant 7.62x54r) in to get a pawn on. Ive had the same rifle or one like it in pawn before. I was told that due to corporate reasons they could not pawn it because it was a 7.62 caliber rifle. I bet if it was a .308(7.62x51) or a .30-06(7.62x61) rifle they would have been more than glad to have it on pawn or buy it. These representatives need to learn their calibers and guns before they tell someone they wont pawn them.
I see a lot of people borrow funds from Cash America then get angry and leave negative reviews. I own a small business Pro Clean LLC and I also borrow funds from this pawn shop and fully understand the terms before hand. They are professional and they even go out of there way to notify me when payments are due. I recommend these people when you are in need of fast cash for emergencies.
Customer service is horrible call over the phone they give you prices and tell you good things when you get inside the store they don’t even want to take your product and a very rude
I was greeted nicely as soon as i entered the shop. The girls working there were friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and might I add outstanding. Thanks for the great help girls.A family came in while I was there and they too were greeted appropriately.
Not open at 9 am like they said. Its 9:23. Still no one.
The Cash America Pawn website said that they research an item in order to ensure the best deal. I wonder what else on their site is completely untrue. The lady here never got off the phone while I was I was trying to show her the items I brought in. She managed to point at my laptop and grunt, uh-uh, I guess meaning they dont deal in laptops. The second item was an aftermarket, civilian, aviators survival suit, in new, never worn condition, with the tags still on. It happened to be olive green so the lady says, we dont do military surplus, sorry, and goes back to her phone call. Not only would I not recommend this place, I would advise against it.
This place is an absolute hoax and will only try to rip you when it comes to a pawn. I brought in a full drum set (complete with cymbals and hardware) and the store manager (Melissa) looked me in the face and said I would only be able to give you $150 because of the condition. These only sell for $300 brand new this person clearly had no intelligence of what i brought in. Since the drum set sells for $600 brand new and including the hardware and cymbals would have sold for much more. All they do is low ball offer desperate people who need the money because of their situation. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
I pawned a perfect condition MacBook pro to them and when I bought it back they neglected to tell me that they had completely broken the track pad while in their custody.EDIT: After a quick call to corporate the manager attempted to make things right with me by having my laptop fixed. She paid for me to ship her the broken laptop and she took it to her repair guy. However, she was not open as to the progress of the repairs and attempted to return the laptop to me only partially repaired! Eventually she sent me a replacement Mac book but its smaller, has less RAM, and a cheaper graphics card than my original Mac.
