What was a pretty good experience buying the Genesis G90 and has turned into a very bad experience.I was told by Genesis Headquarters in California that I could get concierge service in the Tucson area. This was because there is no Genesis dealership here in Tucson.After six months, when I am due for service, I was expecting concierge pick-up for my service. Unfortunately, the policy has changed or I was given bad information, because I am now told that they will not offer concierge service to me, outside of 50 miles.Tia Battle at Genesis Headquarters in California has offered to provide me service, this via a letter, here in Tucson at any service provider and they will reimburse me. I called her this morning and have not received a return call. Great but my back-window defroster is not working and needs repair – so what should I do about that?I have called Chapman Genesis Dealership numerous times as best I can remember they have never received a return call. Once I was in sales and customer service and even if it is not what the customer does not wants to hear, you give the customer a return call.I now regret purchasing of this expensive car and will not recommend the car to anyone else. Additionally, I will not suggested Chapman Auto Sales to anyone.I would like to add, we were really interested in the new GV80 - but no longer.Final note at 73 years old, a diabetic, with excess weight, and high blood pressure travel during this Covid-19 period is not something I really do not want to do.I have offered numerous times to drop off my car at a Chapman Dealership in Tucson (Honda,Volkswagen, and Audi) and have them do the service, but have never receive either a yes or no.
I had an amazing experience at Chapman Genesis Scottsdale. Luis Torres is an excellent salesman. I cant recommend him enough.He kept in touch, but not too much. He allowed me to get into a great new car while helping to solve my other problem of a lease with mile average. These guys know how to solve problems without using pressure. Its a great dealership and I wouldnt hesitate to go again.
