Would give 0 stars to Dayna, the store manager if possible. Steer clear of this location! Dayna is rude, disrespectful, and dishonest.The quote Dayna gave me seemed inflated so I stepped out and price-checked with another shop. Turns out the other shop could do the same thing for $200 less.When I told Dayna I didnt want them to perform work on my truck she ripped the quote out of my hand and stormed off. When they returned my truck to me (about 20 minutes later) one of my custom wheel caps was missing from the wheel. When I asked them to put it back on they said they couldnt because the piece was broken. I asked Dayna to replace or compensate me for the part they broke off my vehicle and she vehemently denied any wrong-doing. Dayna was very rude and refused to take ownership for the part that her team clearly broke. Thats just not good business practice, and its not right.

Yes. I went to brake masters located in north SCOTTSDALE on FRI. 7-16-2021 to have my brakes done and they were fine, but not my shocks! I am so glad I chose to go! They were Great! I will be going back. Anyone who owns a car, pick Brake Masters.

They did a great job and for the price they quoted us, it took them longer than they anticipated but over all they did a good job.

Made a appointment 2 days earlier then my scheduled visit, when I arrived, after waiting 10 minutes or so I was told they would not honor my price for my scheduled service! Telling me they would only do a higher priced service because thats what their computer told them. Clearly a bait and switch! Sad business are still doing this. Buyer beware alert.

They do not disclose labor costs if you change your battery here. Original invoice jumped $100 to replace a battery.

This place is very honest. Front manager told me that my brakes were 10% used, 90% life left. He said I did not need any new brakes, but gladly educated me on why my car may be making noise. Ended up getting an oil change here. I am happy with the service.

These guys have taken great care of both of my vehicles, older Toyota Highlanders. When I need multiple repairs or maintenance items taken care of, they will help prioritize repairs to accommodate my budget. Today I came in for an oil change and a pre-road trip check up. They found my battery was leaking and a terminal was corroded. They didnt charge me for the check up, found me a battery that was on sale, and gave me a coupon for the oil change. I will be hitting the road with confidence in my 2008 Highlander.

I was in to have my brakes looked at, after the inspection Dan told me that my pads are new and are in great shape but my rotors needed replacing. He said actually your back rotors are low and can get away with only doing the front rotors for now. I really appreciate his honesty, most places would have tried and sell you everything. Dan being honest will definitely have me back when the back rotors need replacing.

I continue to be amazed at the quality of care and service I receive at this location. After having to utilize a major dealership (which was unfortunately required this time), Im reminded of the value of Brake Masters. I just went in for an oil change, as I prefer Brake Masters service over the dealer - they are friendly and have extremely knowledgeable staff. Customer service is exceptional here. I would recommend this place time and time again due to my past experiences. I can drive away from this business with peace of mind that my SUV has been cared for. Great honest employees

I went in thinking I needed brakes the tire shop said they were low and they seemed high in price. I took it to Brake Master and Stan got the car right in and after taking it apart and looking at them he said they still had half of their life left, THANK YOU STAN!After the tires i didnt have the 600. the other shop wanted for breaks! I will always go to Stan for my break needs!!

Both front strut replacement and back shocks....$1115.80...labor 546.00 and parts 725.75. plus tax... I was only in town a short time and I had to get it done for my kid in college. After a bit of buyers remorse over cost I did a bit of research on the parts and labor ...took them a bit over 1 hour. Very high. They were fast and it was done quite well, but the cost was nuts. Do your cost comparative on easier jobs like this. I paid in my estimation $400 too much....

Honest people. Confirmed my suspicions that I was being lied to by an unrelated shop. Will be giving these guys my future business. Rest assured these guys will not lie to you to make a quick buck. Good people you can trust which is essential in this business.

The worst, they charged me for new brake caliper when mine was brand new and brake pads were replaced. They stated that my caliper and brake pads were bad when they were just replaced. I had to complain to corporate. They will rip you off and nickle and dime you. They want you to think that everything is bad and press you to replace good parts.

Brought my 2006 F250 work truck to get the rear rotors and breaks replaced. They quoted me over 650 dollars! Parts from Ford (which are on the higher end) are 250 out the door. Online I can get them for about 150-200. So you mean to tell me its 400 dollars in labor for a job that shouldnt take more than 30 mins a wheel??? These prices are an absolute joke. Told my boss Ill change the breaks for her.

I took my car here after having it serviced elsewhere (Sun Devil Auto) and they were able to find the problem easily and got a decent quote to fix it. WOMEN OF THE WORLD, these are your true-blue, honest mechanics!!! When my car broke down 2 months ago, these guys stood in their shop and brainstormed about a dozen different possible solutions with me that would not cost me a dime. Now, how many other mechanics do you know that would suggest solutions to a customer that wouldnt cost a dime? Twice, little devils from other shops have told me that I needed work that the guys at Brake Masters did for LITERALLY half the cost! And, the staff at Brake Masters even helped me out by giving me a ride to a rental car company when I was stranded in the pouring rain. These are the ONLY mechanics I will trust for ALL of my car needs! Frankly, if my car needs a service that these guys cant provide, I would rather just replace the car...

I brought my 2010 Ford Escape here to get a simple oil change and recharge my AC and was surprised to find out my AC condenser was broken and leaking thus my AC not working. I was so impressed when Stan actually took me back to my car and showed me where it was broken and leaking. Although it was more for me to pay, I wasnt upset because he was upfront and honest and didnt tell me it was critical and let me decide whether or not to get it fixed. Stan also showed me where my brand new transmission was leaking in two different locations (done at AAMCO) which was news to me and I was very thankful to hear about so that I can take it back. Both Al and Stan get an A+ in customer service and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs and care about helping people. I learned a ton just by chatting with them and watching them interact with other customers while I was in the waiting room. I will be bringing my car back here if any other issues arise and would recommend them to anyone!! With parts labor and including my oil change I paid $540 which after researching is very reasonable. Thanks guys!

This place is a joke. Tried to force me into putting synthetic oil in my vehicle and would not change my oil unless I bought the most expensive oil change(which I did not). DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! Bunch of scam artist. I know my car can use regular oil cause that’s what is in it now.

Complete scam. I went in and was charged for a radiator cap like 85.00. The crazy thing is the day before I physically had put a new radiator cap on and ironically it was the same one I put on. When I spoke to the manager he said I was wrong that he had put it on himself. Then I called him a liar and he started yelling at me. Then I pulled out my receipt from AutoZone for the cap. He shut up and removed it from my bill. Then kicked me out of store. They treat women like we know nothing. The worst part is my sister and mother go there and are/ were friends with the other manager. They didnt realize how there friend was really riping then off.

I have visited this location several times to have work on my cars brakes and to get my oil changed along with various other services for a couple of years now and have been very satisfied with the quality of the brake work. Despite frequent turnover of several employees each year, the shop itself pretty much manages to maintain a consistent standard of service and care. I bring 5 cars here for everything from oil changes to suspension, brakes, alignment and misc diagnostics. Theyve never taken work out of their depth and use quality parts.

I have been using Break Masters to service my fleet the plumbing vans and personal vehicles for over 12 years now.The guys Jason and Stephen do an amazing job taking care of all my vehicles in a timely manner at fair prices. Ive been meaning to write this review everytime that Ive been to this Break Masters location and never have. So today is finally the day. Ive been to many places for vehicle repairs....from corporate to mom & pop and everything in between. But no place have I ever felt more confident in a mechanics honesty. The general manager, Stan, and his team of heros at Break Masters have saved my bum countless times. No matter the problem, Ive always been back out on the road shortly knowing that I paid a fair price for the work that has been done. And knowing that the work has been done correctly. I feel a little bad leaving this because I have gotten work done here before and I’ve never really had any problems but yesterday I called to make an appointment for an oil change and ask for an estimate for a spark plug change. I was really surprised at how disrespectful the man I spoke with was. The tone he took with me was really, really rude. I don’t remember his name but he made me feel so belittled because I couldn’t tell him my engine code off the top of my head... He also argued with me about the trim of my car, saying that the trim I told him I had didn’t exist. I wish this didn’t happen because I’ve been a customer for a long time, but I’m going to start taking my car somewhere else.

My husband and I both have had GREAT experiences as this location. Recently the Infinity dealer told me I needed new brakes. Two weeks later I hear squeaking. This place is great. Took my Acura in because the brakes were squeezing. Steve called an hour later and told me that my brakes were still good and there was no need to put new pads on. He cleaned up some brake dust and sent me on my way no charge. Have been going back ever since for all mechanical work on two different cars and each time Steve tells me what needs to be done and what doesnt need to be done. These guys are honest, efficient, friendly and affordable. Its comforting knowing I have a mechanic I can trust!!

I have been using brake masters for many years...for oil changes, brake repairs, tune-ups, for my Toyota. Not once have I ever felt taken advantage of. They have actually told me, more than once, that I dont need service on something I thought was wrong with my car. When they do fix a part, if they are able to, they will bring the old part out to show me, or they will bring me into the garage to show me something on the car. And they will always explain. I trust them explicitly and wouldnt think of going elsewhere or to a dealer unless it was a service they were not capable of doing. I highly recommend them!

I have experienced only the best in customer service at this place. My wife and I will only go here from now on. I love that they provide so many services. We can drop off the car and expect these guys to provide ALL the necessary services, without having to go to separate shops for other specific car care (and without having to come back to them again and again, which we experienced in the last place we went to). They have fixed all the issues in our cars that no one else was able to fix. Best of all, they explained what was wrong in clear laymans terms and how they intended to address the issue (and how much the cost would be for each service). The guy at the front desk, Larry, is a smiling gentleman, a pleasure to work with.

5 🌟. Needed a brake job. I opted to let them do the free inspection to see what theyd say. They said the brake pads are good and i just need the rotors resurfaced. Other shops may have opted to just upsell new rotors, not these guys. This will be my new go to brake shop.

Went here to have new brakes put on my 4Runner; replaced brake pads, boots, and rotors for $700. Within 48hrs of getting my car back the grinding noise was back and 5839475x worse than when I brought it in. Also the brakes were constantly engaged when I gave it gas, so the car would not move almost causing me to get T boned in an intersection. I call brake masters back the next morning asking if they could come get my car (I live less than 2 miles away and did not feel comfortable driving it), and they refused due to not having enough ‘man power’ to come get it. I then ask if they would cover my towing fees, again refused. I get the car to the shop and it turns out the caliper bolts were never put back on. Their company name does not correlate to their service or thoroughness of the work done. 0 stars.

Felt like the typical bait & switch often experienced with an oil change. Went in requesting a $54 oil change special to find out only AFTER the service had been completed that special didnt apply to my vehicle.... $12 filter (included in the special if Id qualified) $53 for the oil change itself and $15 in labor.

Went in to get oil change(good job on that). Asked them to look at brakes because they had squealed the other day after it rained. They called me a couple hours later to tell me that the brakes on the front & back were bad. They actually said that they were cracked and wouldnt recommend me driving on them. Front being worst than the backs. Told them I couldnt do anything at the moment, but I would get back to them ASAP. That same night had son(certified mechanic) check them. I still had 1/2 a pad left and rotors were still good. They try to scare you into paying for something you dont need
