This one Goes out to Jenni! Hands down the best customer service ever. The original I shop I go through is in San Francisco so I was a little hesitant ordering from a new location. Jenni not only put my order in for me but gave me great advice on exactly how much hair I would need for my client. She was also very quick to give me constant updates on exactly when my order would arrive. This place ROCKS, you wonβt be disappointed! Again awesome customer service and will be doing all my order through this location from now on.π
BUYER BEWARE its unfortunate I have to review this shop this way bc when I first went in in Jan, the employee, Jenni was super sweet and helpful. I was switching from tape ins to sewn tied wefts & I was excited about it. I went for the 808 brand. Jenni helped me pick out a nice blond color that matched well and I was on my way. After about 4 weeks of the hair in, I started getting MAJOR matting. Like to the point where I would have to brush multiple times a day. My stylists now and in the past have always complimented me on how well I maintain my extensions. I follow all the suggestions, barely use any heating products, use the sulfate free shampoo and conditioner...all of the things Im told to do! Major knots and matting. So I call Jenni back and tell her whats going on. She says for me to buy the matrix shampoo and conditioner so I did - it made my hair softer but didnt fix the matting and knots. Another girl in my salon is having the same problem with these extensions! The worse part is when I went in to talk to Jenni about it, even though she was understanding and kind, she refused to help. She said that I should have bought the exclusive 808s if Im blonde bc theyre better quality and blondes typically are drier hair bc of the coloring etc and that she tells all of her clients to buy the exclusive when blonde..she asks who sold me the extensions. I said YOU. No apologies or acknowledging her part in this mess! I asked if I could exchange these and upgrade to exclusive and pay the difference and she said she cant do that...she said she had to send the same hair to the manufacturer to get a reimbursement for someone elses hair in this brand and they denied the reimbursement bc the ends of the extensions look fine and that its determined the actual hair of the girl mixing with the extensions is causing the matting, not the extension itself. And she can see thats the same for me??? How absurd is that??!! Makes no sense. She said it was too late to return bc at this point it was 6-7 weeks after I bought the hair. She offered to give me 20-% off of a set of new 808 exclusive extensions if I wanted to buy that!?!?? Thats the best this shop can give me????? ...Im so disappointed in the lack of making this right with me and the other girl having issues with the same hair and shame on the Hair Shop for not standing by their product and trying to help one of their customers. Do not use this shop unless you want to take a gamble and for sure do not buy 808Extensions ....OH and ps...Ive been using extensions for the last 5 years and Ive NEVER had any issues with knots or matting.
I had bought extension replacement tape from this place. They yβall highly about it and said itβs good quality and will last and hold the extensions. We decided to use it and give it a try and after one wash, the extensions came out and the tape was defective. I follow all the directions and how to maintain tape ins as I have had them a while now but as soon as water hit the tape, it seemed like it desolved. I wasted $300 getting my extensions put in and I could not enjoy my hair and feel beautiful. I know itβs not the extensions because I buy from a great company. I will never buy from this shop again. The products are cheap and the service is horrible. Do not buy from this shop. Iβm not the only one having issues with the tape!
Ive been using the 808 hair for three years now and for the last year, the hair quality has gotten really bad. The tangling is unexceptable for the amount of money I spend on the hair. The costs have gone up and the quality has gone down horribly. I will never buy this hair again. Buyers beware. My stylist had to cut some of my hair out cause the matting was so bad and I only had the extensions in for a two months.
I purchased extensions and love them.. they last forever and no tangles..I recommend this shop highly..& will be returning..
Got I-tip extensions for the first time and the hair was amazing when I first got it. After one wash the hair became so dry and brittle. Tangled mess. Ripped out my actual hair because the knots were so bad. Mind you I only had the hair three weeks. Went to a different tech and she helped me get a refund for the hair. Jenny is very nice but not very helpful At all and should not be selling this hair. Do not waste your money. :(
Love this place!! Staff is super helpful and friendly!! Hair quality is great and have a big selection!!
This store is strictly for Caucasian individuals. This was stated by Wendy an employee. They do not have any products or lines for Ethnic Hair. What a lost, since other races spend more collectively on Extensions and many of us live in Scottsdale and/or are professionals (not that this should matter)! Also, they are owned and operated by the same owners of United Beauty Supply.I personally will NOT purchase any products from either establishment. Wendy stated thats all the company makes and attempted to justify only catering to this population. Great customer service! I needed to get hair extensions for my wedding and I cant wait to wear them!
The staff are unbelievable. I bought last minute at 10am and had to leave to be IN a wedding by 11. The girl called a bunch of stylists to see is someone could take me immediately to get them trimmed up so they looked good. And boy did they look good π love the hair and appreciate the quality, above and beyond service!
Great customer service, and I love my hair extensions.
This store is fantastic as well as their products. The products are high quality and the Clip In Extensions I got matched my hair perfectly! The staff is accommodating and always has a smile on her face. I would definitely recommend this shop!
I went to today with my boyfriend and the cashier Christopher was very nice went above and beyond on service to check if they had black hair. I will be ordering again and going to this store again soon β€π
Iβve been going here for years for extensions, love love love Wendy! Sheβs always so helpful and great at color matching. Would highly recommend anyone to come here for extensions!
Ive used the Hairs Hair twice in the future and I will never again. The hair is way over priced for the poor quality hair it is. It matted/tangle two weeks after I had it professionally applied by a fabulous stylist. I couldnt believe how ratted up it became and I paid close to $800 for the 808 22 hair. My stylist had been using the hair for years and swore that it use to be the best hair that you could get in town...key word use to. My stylist is now offering higher quality hair with her service and I couldnt be happier that she invested in some good hair.Buyers beware...the hair totally sucks!!! Oh and after you wash it, the hair buffs up like crazy.
Everyone here is so helpful and knowledgeable! They walked me through their pricing and how the different hair methods work for different hair types. The staff truly cares and takes time to ensure you are confident in the product you are purchasing. They have more application methods than any other company. The hair quality is fantastic! I have used their cold fusion extentions and the hair was very easy to maintain and looked so natural! Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the quality you are receiving. I recommend this company for all of your hair extension needs.
I purchased two separate sets of hair at this location. The quality is so beyond horrible. I called and spoke with Wendy a sales lady. She suggested I use Lβ Oreal products in my hair. π€ Absolutely not!! She said that their hair doesnβt come with a silicone base on it like other brands for this reason I couldnβt use over moisturizing products in my hair.... After spending over 900.00 on two sets of hair. I think the way they handled this situation is absurd. Itβs pretty much drive down the highway and throw money out your window. If I could post a picture of this nasty hair I would. Also to find out the hair is half synthetic and half human. Thatβs why it looks like a rats nest!
Wendy is very helpful and always has a smile on her face. She does her very best to have everything on hand and her inventory fully stocked. I really enjoy working with her for all of my clients needs.
I did not like this hair very much. It was very tangeled all the time, it would easily break super easy also. I used multiple products specially made for hair extensions and it still didnt make a difference.
I absolutely loved this shop. Their products are great quality and the Clip In Extensions I got matched my hair PERFECTLY! Id definitely recommend this shop!
The Hair store is amazing as well as their products. Wendy is polite and very knowledgeable about the products in the store. She always greet you with a smile and makes your shopping experience very pleasurable.
I been buying hair from the Hair Shoppe for many years. Always a great experience, Wendy offers great suggestions and is always so helpful. I look forward to my monthly visit to the hair shoppe
I used to constantly buy hair from this company but the quality kept getting worse and worse. I was surprised when the hair shop said the reason why the hair was such poor quality was that because it was β808β hair and I should have used the βexclusive β brand they sell. My question is why sell a brand that you know is terrible and try to actually up sell a different brand you also sell. Long story short the quality is horrible and it does not matter if itβs the exclusive brand or not. Do yourself a favor and buy hair someone else!!!
As I walked up to the store, I saw a sign that said will be back in thirty minutes. As I headed toward my car, I noticed there were two women in the store. I knocked gently on the door and got yelled at! I was told by the rude sales gal,Im in a meeting. Well, I suppose she will not be getting my business.
I have been in sales for 23 years so customer service is something Im VERY familiar with. I am a licensed esthetitian so being in the beauty industry i like my hair and nails to look on point. I was told it is my fault my hair was matted after 2 weeks. I was told its my products which were the 909 products and a keratin mask. I washed my hair ONCE a week and did mask at that time and did not dry my hair. Styled it on low heat maybe once a week ...the last month it was only every other week on date night. My hair was purchased by my stylist in january 2017 from the hairshop . I purchased it from her on May 5th 2017. Therefore,i had no warranty and was told well i dont know if you used the hair before then. Showed the text messages from me making my appointment and was told well a warranty is from when it is purchased originally. If you buy a car, the warranty starts when the customer purchases it not when the dealership buys it, the warranty on a phone starts when a customer purchases it from a vendor. When you are dealing with people that stock up on extensions to use for future clients the right thing is to offer a warranty from when they are installed. I was told by 4 different hair companys that my hair had silicone in it and that it was NOT remy hair but of course apparently they were trying to sell me something (which was not the case at all). So instead of trying to work something out i was told to have the ratty extensions reinstalled after I clarified them, and start using different loreal products (not their own brand). To be honest it was completely embarassing to walk around the trade show in vegas since my curls matted before I even got in the doors. I guess that the multiple industry professionals just lied to me just to lie. The extension specialist that removed my hair had dealt with hair shop for years and said these are not the quality that their extensions normally are. As with any product sometimes there are things that are just manufacture defects, rather than offer to exchange the hair or to make things right i was talked to like I was an idiot and it went from my fault to my stylists fault but God forbid just maybe there was a bad batch of hair. However, out of everything nothing bothered me as much as the questioning of my integrity implying i was lying about when they were installed. Hair shouldnt become defective from sitting on a shelf in a salon for 4 months (january to may). Its a sad day when a set of acrylic nails last longer than human hair.
The quality of the hair is great. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Ive been using hair from here for 2 years and have had problems every time! The hair is dry after 2 weeks and mattes so easily! I have wasted so much money on bad hair from here that never seems to last. I will be going elsewhere from now on to buy quality hair.
Ive been using this hair for over a year and its been constantly tangling and matting. The hair quality is not good, the strands are always falling out.
