Great little coffee spot. The coffee is amazing. I stopped in while out walking my pup around Old town the other morning. The staff/barista was knowledgeable, nice and made a very good cappuccino. I spent years slinging coffee at the old Jamaican Blue coffee shop so I’ve got a firm idea of how I like my espressos. That said they did well. I’m come back next time I’m near and in need.

Just grabbed a coffee in my way to work and DROPPED the whole cup unlocking the door at my office. No big deal though… despite hitting hard on the side… barely any spilled. Whole thing retained its integrity. I still have more than 3/4 cup of coffee and I’ve already had a few sips. Not only is the coffee top quality, but so are their cups! 🥳🥳🥳

Jennifer was a delight, she greeted us with a smile 😃 and made our coffee at 104 degrees- the place was clean and the shirts and hats had such cool colors and logos. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for coffee in old town Scottsdale. 😎

Cozy little corner coffee shop. Surprise, they also have gelato and affogato! They offer a unique selection of single origin and blends. Had the cold brew (mokka/java blend) and it was light, sweet, and fruity. Loved it. Ended up buying some whole bean from them, with plans to make my own batch of cold brew as well as seeing how it does as an espresso.Yellow Spruce doesn’t have much in the way of seating inside; just a couple of tables and a high top bar facing the street. But they do have a handful of small tables outside, which makes for some good people watching.

Coffee was good. Blood orange gelato was great 👍🏻

This new little mom & pop coffee shop in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale is amazing!! The coffee is amazing, the owners are super energetic and passionate about their coffee and you absolutely MUST try the salted caramel Affogato! (Salted caramel gelato with chocolate chunks draped in expresso). Its a great place for the kids and adults to stop in while tooling around Old Town.

Pretty new local coffee spot.Got a vanilla iced latte. It was okay but next time I will probably add caramel cause it was to plain. Also it like stings the aftertaste kinda weird.Will definitely come back to try a different drink.They also have gelato and blended drinks.

I rarely write reviews but this place was just so wonderful! The owner genuinely cares about customer service and clearly knows good coffee. I asked him for something hes never made before and it was one of the best lattes Ive ever had (Im the pickiest person on the planet with coffee). I was only in town for a couple of days and didnt even try any other coffee shops in the area. The second one completely lived up to the high standards set the first day. Very impressed. Wish I lived nearby!

Brian was very knowledgeable and experienced. Best local coffee shop in Scottsdale. I will be back for sure.

Coffee is consistently good and the prices are fair. The best spot for coffee in Old Town.

The first visit (4/8 5pm) the drinks tasted world-class amazing. The second visit (4/9 10am) ordered the same things and didnt taste so great, of course they were not bad by any means... I think your experience will depend on who you get as your barista.

The flavor of the coffee alone is phenomenal! I have tried the caramel iced coffee and the vanilla javaccino and my goodness! the toasty flavor of the coffee accompanied by the vanilla rather than it being overpower was just perfection! ☺️ Also the staff are very welcoming! Its a very warm vibe they have going on!✨ if you wanna try some quality coffee beverages I highly recommend Yellow Spruce Roasters! 😊

This is a cute little café that shouldnt be overlooked.. The iced chai latte is the best Ive ever had, hands down, and the gelato was delicious! They also had muffins and other beverages to enjoy, but I didnt expect such a fantastic drink for that reasonable price. Kalia (Kaliah? Sorry, kind barista, I forgot to ask how you spell your name) was absolutely wonderful. She made my order quickly and was super helpful and friendly. Her thoughtfulness made my rough day all the brighter. Thanks to her fantastic service and the delicious drinks, Ill definitely be returning when Im back in the area!

Absolutely wonderful! Today’s roast was a sumatra that was full bodied and earthy with the barest subtle hint of brightness that added a delightful spark. Brian and Lucy clearly know coffee. They also have cold brew which I’m sure is popular here. I will be back. If you are anywhere near old town this is the place to go!

Stumbled upon this gem in Old Town. Decided I should go with the regular drip cup of coffee. My feeling is if the regular coffee is good, then the espresso will follow. Since Yellow Spruce roasts their own beans I was all the more intrigued. Im not the type to describe in detail the flavors a cup of coffee has, but I can tell you I have had many years with many cups. Yellow Spruce cup was GREAT. Also was fortunate enough to meet the owner Brian. Can tell he cares about quality and service. Ill be back!

Delicious eggnog latte. They have vegan milk options, too. Very pleasant barista! A nice little find in old town.
