This is not a pretty store but it has very nice but low priced greeting cards and a slightly different mix than other Dollar Stores I have found many useful things. Parking is good. Most of the time only one cashier meaning wait time is okay if you are not in a hurry. The store is improving or customers are being more thoughtful?

Horrible experience. Their hours are from 9 am- 9pm and i got there at 8:55 pm on a Tuesday and one of the girls that works there literally locked the door right in front of me. I told her it wasn’t 9 yet and she yelled back saying “we’re closed” ! Dollar tree, you just lost a customer!

They are no help here called and the person i talked to was rude. Then i went in store was my daugters 18th birthday and we always come to this store to have our party balloons filled. On the website it even says they fill outside balloons for 1.00. Went into store and asked person they said no we cant it will be automatic termination to fill outside balloons. Really? I asked for a manager and they said they were. Nice. So you will fire yourself for going by company policy to help out a family on theirs childs birthday? Nice. Never coming here again...

Great Store! Always find something new to buy for a buck or two today for something that I will buy anyway, sometimes... for a fraction of the cost! Save Big over 12 months.

Dollar tree really does have everything....

This store is very dirty. The carpet needs to be REPLACED.How can this happen after almost five years nothing has been done. Who can we contact to resolve this issue.

Their selection of Holloween items is pretty amazing!

This is truly a dollar tree that does well with the resources they have. It really is as clean and organized as it can be. I’ve also encountered the nicest and most relatable employees. Patrick is extremely kind to all customers, has a great attitude, and carries conversations with kids in a way that allows the parent to focus.This location is GREAT if you’re into crafts.

**safety concern**do NOT purchase their water bottles.they have them sitting in the window in the sun, which is very toxic!i said something kindly to a clerk about this to notify her. she did not seem worried about it. (some people arent and that is okay! but some people see it the same as moldy bread.)this store is losing service from those who care about their water being properly and safely stocked.

I have been to several Dollar Trees and have never been disappointed. The positive reviews for this location make me wonder if I was in an entirely different store. This store is beyond disorganized. One of the employees was running around without a mask on getting up close to customers. It was apparent she wasnt happy to be there as she was throwing things on the shelves. The front cashier kept calling for backup cashiers on the loudest overhead speaker Ive ever heard. Every time they called out on it I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. The store is filthy. I cant imagine it has been cleaned recently with the black spots all over the floors. I couldnt spend 5 mins in this store, I had to leave. This store needs a complete overhaul.

It was decently stocked for the holidays when I went today. Now you do get what you pay for; however I am pleasantly surprised at times with quality of the items I purchase here.

Wow....wish I could give this Dollar Tree more than 5 stars....The store was amazingly clean...very well stocked and ALL the employees were friendly and helpful...unlike most Dollar Trees lately...it was worth the extra 10 mile drive to this great store...and I live 2 miles from a dollar tree that is just horrible and dirty....this store at 7750 E.McDowell is my new Dollar Tree....Thanks guys....great job

Nice store,BUT never have working restrooms except when you see an employee slip in not only this one, all of them.i had one tell me they had no toilet paper, i said id buy some said store was out. I said buy some puff tissues. Still no.

Dollar Tree on McDowell Rd in South Scottsdale is a great location to shop. Conveniently located next to Frys Food Store, this location is always well stocked, clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a large variety and selection to choose from. A GREAT place to shop for office and home.

Took my Grandma here because she likes their greeting card selection. They always have a great selection of seasonal items, gift bags and household gadgets. This is my go to place for Mylar balloons. They are the only place that still sells them for $1.00 each, they have a good selection and Im able to have them inflated right then.The employees are friendly, the store was clean and well lit.

Visited another location today; the fourth one. This location was a nice size; did not have a refrigerated or freezer section though. The store was clean but typical clutter in some aisles with some unpacked boxes. Check out was fast at this location but staffing always seems a bit lacking. There are many brand names to choose from. It can be a fun place to just browse and pick up things you didnt go for but can use.

Supplies are pretty good but other locations seem to have more. My biggest issue with this store is the low Staffing and its not as clean as other stores that Ive seen

Good stuff for a dollar unlike those other places that say dollar this and that but charge a lot more. Employees are nice and happy. I like that!

Well everything really is $1.00. I guess that makes it great. There are definitely name brand products that sell for double at other retailers.Its a little on the dirty side.

Good variety of products, and the best cards available. The only issue I have had there has been with the limited number of staff. It’s hard to find someone on the floor to ask a question, and there is usually only 1 register open. I’ve seen the line literally snake through the store on a busy Saturday afternoon.

I go here a lot because it’s close to home and work. Every time I go there is one single cashier no matter the size of the line.

Store is well stocked with great selections. And your employees are courteous and helpful. Especially your charming cashier that welcomes people and if backed up with customers makes customers appreciate that she is trying her hardest to keep line moving.

It was okay... Kinda crowded, lines were long at checkout, the store had a funny smell throughout, but I got everything I needed in the end. Lots of skater punks in and out the whole time, it was pretty cool knowing The Wedge is still going strong after all the years I quit skating.

Love this store & the service is great when Tommy V is working on check out. I dread running into the manager Diane is up front. Shes condescending & rude. Tommy is so helpful. Hell get things off of the top shelf for me & is always a delight with a genuine smile. Hes the best.

Seriously how do you run out of helium? 2nd time this has happened I guess I always come on the wrong dayThis store is not appealing at all. Ill drive the distance to get better service & less anxiety! Even the Dobson Riverview location is nicer.

Its ok. Not as nice as I would expect from a Scottsdale location but the employees are very nice and friendly. Still good selection of items. Just try not to go day after a holiday because they are swapping everything out for the next holiday and its messy.

Well stocked, always helpful and very clean store. Lots of parking. Lots of cool stuff for only a dollar of course. Some car stuff and tools and necessities like bungee cords for a buck!

Very friendly cashier and noticed they got new bags. They are stronger and thicker. They also have a lot more products in the store to choose from.

Great store location, selection is good and isles are open. Wish they had refrigerators is the back like other Dollar Stores. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Dirty, smells, and require a mask to enter but saw one worker without one... So, they care about the safety of the rest of us.

The 99 cent store is great you go there and you find things that you find the other stores of $5 $3 $2 and you pay a dollar I mean its great you cant beat the 99 and it so helpful if you looking for something and you dont see it just asking one of the workers and Ill come and help you and Ill get it for you you cant beat the 99 Cent Store FROM VINNIE.G 😎

There is no grocer section at this one. I was in line with 3 items behind someone with a full cart. When backup came, she took the person at the end of the line rather than asking me. I just think the right thing to do in that situation is to assist the person who waited the longest.
