If I could give -1 stars I would. I’ve worked in customer service for over 6 years and have never encountered what I did today. My friend and I were looking at the loungefly bags in Attic Salt, and I opened one to look inside, but I guess I didn’t close it completely when I put it back on the shelf. The female employee proceeded to start yelling at me in front of everyone for not putting it back picture perfect like it was. I have never been talked to like that in my life nor would I ever think of talking to a customer that was looking to buy something like that. I could have yelled back at her but I proceeded to be the bigger person and just quietly leave the store. Never will shop at the Scottsdale location again.

Coming into Scottsdale from out of town my phone died. Since I was going to fashion square anyway, I stumbled into Attic Salt, knowing the store and found that they sold phone chargers. Getting back to my car, I found that the charger they sold me didn’t work. Since I was on the road already, I didn’t have time to go back the same day. I had to stop at a CVS and get another phone charger. 3 days later on my way back out of town I stopped back at Attic Salt to try and return the broken charger they sold me. This store claims to have a 30 day return policy. Nowhere in the policy does it say anything about opened packages or broken products. I have never been to a store that won’t refund a faulty product before. The employee working that day was nothing but rude. He refused give me a refund because I “opened the package” and told me I could exchange the charger. However they didn’t have the charger in stock to exchange. I ended up leaving the store with a $15 broken charger, with no refund. DO NOT SHOP HERE, unless you know for a fact you will not be returning the item. Even then, I will not be giving this store my money ever again.

So happy this store is now in the Scottsdale Mall. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and the stuff is so unique and cute. They have a ton of gift type items but also a small clothing section with great quality clothes that very unique. Lots of stuff featuring food humor and stuff like avocados and eggs, one of the few places to find a variety of axolotl merchandise and lots of cute socks too.

They have cute stuff and their staff is awesome
