Had a nice first time experience browsing and bought some deli and grocery items but the best part is the freshly baked bread straight right out of a stone oven.I was greeted by warm friendly customer service and treated me like family!
Conveniently located close to the heart of north Scottsdale. Always fresh produce. Place is packed with international items. They offer freshly baked bread. Excellent.
I live at Phoenix but i would like to go over there to buy some iranian food or desert .and to be honest with you store is good and organize and their casheiers are very friendly and flexible but some how its expensive store and some times they are not paying attention to item. And it gosold .but after all its good .
I love going there with my friend who is Persian. I love reading all of the labels and the foods that are availablemany I dont know what they are used for but its so fun. They have the best mini cucumbers of anywhere. All of their merchandise is so fresh.
I think its the only Persian market in the valley. They have all the basics covered. Good selection of dried herbs and Persian canned and baked goods.
We purchased 15 pieces it took us 4.2 hours to take the burned pieces off, PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES, this is every sangak bread we purchased.carbohydrate burned is very carcinogenic and cancerous. Is this the product the owner would take home for their own family? We have this problem every time we purchased sangak bread from this shop. The owners justification is that they do not have the right heating mechanism which is unacceptable. In addition to that, the staff is very unprofessional with zero customer service interaction and skills. Next time i will stand at the counter and check every piece before taking it home. ( sangak buyers be aware, do not be fooled when asked it will be ready for you, stay in shop and check the bread before you leave )
I love it but I had more fun when one of the owners was running it mr Mo E rahimiGreat gentleman. To do business with
Very expensive. They prevented and refused to let customers use the restroom.
I had some guest over so I purchased some pastries and bread, and I regret going to Caspian, The pastry was old and the bread was old and stale and not cooked throughout was like a half cooked dough,, Also the customer service sucked in that store I will never go back I will not suggest anybody go therealso prices were high
Thank you all for all you do and for the great products and services you provide. I have no problem driving 45 minutes to buy your products. I appreciate you all very much. Keep up the great work!!
In the dictionary, under the word RUDE, has a picture of the lady running the shop. Some people just shouldn’t be in the service business, and this lady is a poster child.
Super sweet staff! The whole store is clean and very organized
Great selection of fresh and packaged foods
Amazing place to find lots of hard to find items for immaculate dishes! Veal!
Wonderful place for the ingredients for your next middle east meal. Fresh baked breads and excellent feta cheese. The French one is my favorite. Staff is helpful and will help if ask. Oh, I almost forgot the pastries, must try!
So many tasty options. Very inexpensive. We will be coming back a lot more!
I wish this place was within walking distance of my house. The samosas are to die for and very reasonably priced. There are so many delicious edibles here, it would take a day to type them all out. If you like Middle Eastern and Indian food, go here. Its the only place like it in the area.
Great varieties of Middle East groceries and delicacies. Clean and courteous. From fresh baked bread, to home style appetizers are all made with attention to detail. Must try goodies Saffron toffee, Persian cookie (koloocheh), saffron ice cream... Im getting hungry as Im posting this 😁
I was hungry and looking for a convenient place to get some food quickly. I stopped in unsure of what I would find. I was amazed at the variety of options, including prepared food. The staff was generous with their time, suggestions, and patience with me. With their help I picked up a few things that were delicious and inexpensive. I look forward to visiting again!
Only middle eastern grocery store close by to my house. Love this place. Its easy to navigate through ans they have everything Im looking for in a small and convenient space. employees are always friendly, too and I can always find parking which is great considering its in the same lot as the Persian Room.
Rude cashiers. Over priced. There are other more reasonably priced Middle Eastern stores with respectful owners and workers. Only go here when you have to. About a week ago when I was there, I promised myself to leave a poor review. Not only were the cashiers rude, the clientele was arrogant. I realize the store can’t do anything about bad customers, but the overall experience was so bad I won’t be returning.
I just went for the first time, although The Persian Room above is one of my favorites. What a great place! Its worth it to come just for the smell alone! The selection was really nice as was the staff. This place is one of those hidden gems that people should learn about. Highly recommended.
I liked the sambusas and other snacks in the back. Warm them up in the oven and they taste nice and fresh! Helpful service.
Beauty full place
Such a nice clean little store with really unique items. Freshly baked breads in their wood fire stove. Absolutely delicious!
I love this place. The staff are wonderful and I can find things here that I would have great trouble finding anywhere else.
The only problem is the costumer service. Me and my family tried ordering bread over the phone couple of times the person that took our order was very rude and rushing to finish the conversation without me finishing my order. Going to the store picking up my order again she was the same way as before I don’t know if she’s part of the owner or an employee but That is not the way to treat others when they are coming to spend a lot of money in your store. This is not based on only one experience.
Always quality products.
Very interesting Persian market I got a warmer for my coffee I shall return to try their food next time
As an Iranian the food was authentic and on par with what you get from a good quality restaurant in Iran. The service was good too. The only downside was that prices were a little high but in overall I enjoyed it there.
Great place. It had a good selection of foods. We got some raw pistachios and some bbq skewers for a great price. They had a deli selection as well. If I wasnt in a hotel, I most likely would have bought a bunch of stuff for lunches and such.
Great products. Excellent service!
Caspian Food Market is a popular market among Persian community and has good quality products and grocery for cooking varieties of Persin dishes. Being the only Persian market in the area it is always in demand. As a result at times it may be crowded. However, most Persians come there from other cities and far away places to buy what they need. They make their own bread, cookies, and special snacks and have all the ingredients needed for Persian cooking. The service providers are kind and attentive.
Friendly people and great Persian food. Good deals on cheese. The breads are baked on site and are delicious with their hummus, made in the back deli area. I buy good quality tahini there.
Fresh bakery and speciality middle eastern food items and friendly service
Perfect little Iranian market with all the necessities you didnt know you needed! And the fresh bread is excellent!
Good international store. The fresh breads ( Lavash, Sangak, Barbary) were great.
Very loving people. They have a nice variety of foods. I recommend this store.
Friendly staff and great food selections.
Excellent friendly service, & a rich eclectic range of food and seasonings are found here. Highly recommend.
RIP OFF ALERT. Got Kale Pache form this place, frozen one. I said it will be 10-15 dollars for it. The lady put it on and charged me 28.72 I am like I am sorry how much. Everything here is over priced, I can understand it they were bringing it from another state with Cheese and Ice Cream and Cookies. But something like Olivia which costs nothing to make, since you are making it in house you wanna charge 7.99 a pound. Bread for the love of god, 3.99 for a Round Taftoon. See places like this will always take advantage until a competition comes across the street that is why Monopoly is illegal in the US. Looking forward to California Grocery store to come and open a location and take all the customers away from this location. Maybe then they will start lowering the prices to help the consumers.
I love their fresh made bread! Great selection of imported middle eastern food.
Amazing shop with all varieties of Persian food! In general, Persian food are expensive, so the price is okay here. Really love their Naan and Feta Cheese. Id love to pay a visit once a week!
Excellent service and very nice people. Thank you as always
I am so sorry to hear that people have had a bad experience here. I absolutely love this store. I am a caterer and have shopped here for 10 years. It is a different style of grocery store...I browse, ask questions, and go with the flow. Sometimes they are chatty and eager to share items and reccomendations, other times they are busy with their regulars and I wait. Either way the variety and food culture they provide is very valuable to me.p.s. I mix their rose jam with fresh peaches and use for it so many things.
Great Persian (Iranian) specialty store with lots of choices, limited parking during lunch/dinner at the next door Persian Room popular place (same owner).... Id have rated 5 star if they offered more FRUIT choices....
They were out of the flatbread I wanted, thats happened before, but otherwise quite happy
The owner is friendly and their fresh baked bread is amazing.
Great selection of Fresh bread. They have there own oven
Small...nice things as far as cups..serving platters. Wish theyd carry copper cesve...
Hi, do u sell Somboon Wet Seedless Tamarind? Thanks
I’m still debating about this place. Yes, they have tons of middle eastern food and great products, I am not sure about the staff. Anyways. Also, the sangak is small and expensive for that size. Unbelievable. Not as tasty as other places.Sholezan is solid.
Small selection of products. Clumsy cashiers. Great for spices only. Wasnt impressed.
You can find most of your traditional Persian grocery needs here.they also have nice kotlet.
Wonderful selection of middle eastern groceries but little bit over-priced on majority of stuff.
Its a good store for minor groceries and baked goods. Prices are good and staff are helpful.
Great customer service, and the best selection of Persian grocery.
Highly recommend Persian bread here🥰🥰🥰
Worst customer service from the owner.ordered 10 breads in the morning which was supposed to be ready around2:00 pm then called him in the afternoon to confirm my order he said yes it is ready come on over. After 30 minutes drive found out there were no bread, no apology and he denied that we even ordered 10 breads. On top of that he said if you go to Las Angeles you can only get 2 breads.Which had nothing to do with my order that I requested at 8:00 in the morning in Scottsdale Arizona. and he finally said If you wait 20 minutes I can only give 5 breads like as if he was doing me a favor.I am so disappointed with his service that I will never shop at his store.
They have the monopoly of being the only Persian store in the area so the prices are always increasing, plus they play games with their bread as well. Funny, I see I am not the only one commenting on this one (see below review from BADFTJ!They surely lost another regular customer today.
This place is middle eastern heaven
Very good place.
No customer service, The person behind the register didnt say a single word to me as she was collecting my money! No Hi, Not Evan a Buy.
Nice little Middle East grocery store.
The food selection is awesome ... Some Shishas the owner has the Shisha tabacco behind the register you must ask for it. Otherwise delicious bread and food.
Everything you like from the Mediterranean and fresh baked bread.
I can say Frozen meat here is the Worst. Grocery is okay.
Phenomenal customer service, and the most warm and welcoming staff. This is my favorite middle-eastern/Persian market!!
