Would highly recommend this location! Its super clean, well stocked, staff and easy going and helpful, and loaded with healthy affordable options.The newly design checkout system is welcomed and faster check out. Single lanes and getting stuck in the wrong line are no more! One single line where next goes to the available clerk works way smoother.The fresh grocery section is smaller but the dry isles, cold isles, and huge supplement sections make up for it.

We wish there were more of these stores OR that we lived closer! Such a great store filled with quality & very competitive prices. We always find what we need plus more. :D

Best quality produce and I always have a lovely interaction with employees at checkout. Such a wonderful, relaxed place to shop. So much better than any other grocery store. Feels like a small town business in its welcoming atmosphere but with a bigger stores selection of products. The supplement selection is huge, too!I have never been asked to wear a mask for those wondering from the other reviews, unlike at Sprouts and Whole Foods.

No its not as fancy in decor as some other brands out there, however they have the right products at the right price with the best service. Highest recommendations.

So I used to fill up my cart weekly at vitamin cottage but between their inability to keep stuff on the shelves and in stock, their covid return policy, and their outrageous price increases there is only one item left that I come in for. Whole foods and Frys have what I want in stock every time I go, and their prices are much better and if something did not work out for some reason they take it back. I am sure from the lack of customer presence in the store that I am not the only one who can no longer deal with the poor management of this retailer as a whole. Do not waste your time with this company they simply do not seem to care.

Natural grocers is of excellent quality. All of their produce is organic and are really well priced. Their other products may seem a little expensive, but they care a lot about the quality of their products, so some have to be a little higher priced as a result. I spoke to someone who was a cashier at a natural grocers in Chandler and he had worked previously at trader Joes and sprouts and stated that natural grocers was the best of all 3 to work in regards to how much he respected the company, how well he was treated, and how well he was paid.

The store was clean and laid out well. They have a great selection. It was a wonderful shopping experience. I was able to find everything I was looking for even blue corn meal.

Everything i normally go to wholefoods for...Also found bulk items like teas and dried fruits very inexpensive. Went there twice during a three day trip. Also, staff is very helpful.

Finally, a grocery store that feels right! The produce is always fresh, the prices are comparably great and the environmental vibe is always positive. A great shopping experience, indeed!

The only consistency this store has is that it consistently disappoints. Vitamin Cottage is not listening to their customer feedback and it shows. They are inconstant with what they stock. They cant keep their shelves stocked. Most of their Organic Bulk is from China. They are way over priced. Their COVID return policy discourages purchases. Their produce is disgusting. We went from making weekly weekend shopping trips to just going to Whole Foods, Sprouts, Frys Market, Target and ordering directly from the manufactures in some cases because Vitamin Cottage has been a huge disappointment and waste of our time, I just have to do it anyway. After my last trip I have given up any hope for this place I had a list and could not get a single thing on it due to their poorly stocked shelves. That and they randomly cancel products the customer love without notice. I can buy most of the same products elsewhere. They are in stock and I dont have to worry about quality or return issues. Vitamin Cottage wont be around much longer because they simply cannot supply what the customers want, which includes constancy.

All Organic-store, most prices comparable to that of a conventional grocery store.The employees are very helpful as well.Unique items as well as all the favorites. Wish through my experiences I could only give more stars.

I have driven past Natural Grocers many times on my way to Sprouts. Never really noticed it. I finally went in after reading good Yelp reviews. I was delighted with their stellar customer service! A+ Every employee I passed greeted me and asked if they could help me find anything. I hate getting frustrated in a new store searching for things! They have their own generic brand of supplements and also a lovely bath & shower area. Cons are the produce section is very limited, theres no prepared food items, and no beer or wine. Also, I buy raw meat for my dogs and theres only a tiny selection of packaged meats. The store is closer to me than Sprouts, so Ill definitely stop in but Id need to go elsewhere for my full shopping list. I signed up for their loyalty program and will be back.

Very friendly, homey atmosphere. bulk herbs, lots of different flours & nuts. Great selection of frozen treats, beauty supplies and vitamins, too! I am lucky to live close to one!!

I like the fresh section and it is well-arranged and organized in the can goods section. The spot is very convenient and air-conditioned for me.

This store is so much better than Whole Foods or Sprouts. All of their produce is organic. Its not crowded so it has a much more relaxed atmosphere and they have everything I need. All healthy choices. Just bring your own bags, not a big deal.

Since this grocery store is right down the street from me. I always love d walking over. I attended the classes and loved learning what I learned. Parking has Never been an issue. Everyone is pretty friendly. But, After the recent changes your corporate office in Denver should read the policy before imposing illegal policies on me.Exceptions. Cloth face coverings are not required for children under age 2, a child in a child care setting, or for anyone who has trouble breathing or related medical conditions, or who is otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance. A person who cannot wear a cloth face covering because of a medical condition is not required to produce medical documentation of the condition, provided that an employer may require such documentation from an employee in accordance with state and federal law.

So sad and angry at the same time to be writing this. I moved here from out of state in June and quickly fell in love with this store and the staff. Katherine is my favorite. But I loved the all organic produce and then loved that when mask hysteria hit I could still shop here without one. Well that changed today as their new “policy” is 100% of customers must wear a mask so I was not let in. I am so disappointed that they will not allow me and anyone else without a mask in to shop in their store.

I have been a local shopper at this location for well over 3 years. Promoting natural grocers to everyone I know because of the organic selection. During this whole situation going on natural grocers allowed me not to wear a mask because I will physically pass out if I do due to my oxygen to blood issues. As of yesterday they changed their policies without warning any of their customers. I walked in to shop and they told me I cannot buy anything unless I cover up. Do you want me to die?! This is how you treat someone?! Unbelievable I will goto whole foods and never talk good of Natural grocers again.-Jennifer

Overpriced on the majority of items, only a handful of things you get a decent deal. Most employees have a bad attitude as well, they dont seem to treat their small customer base well. Wont be back after shopping there for a few years based on the past few experiences

My favorite place to shop by far.

These guys are the BEST! Every single person there cares about health and customers and the environment and they walk their talk. I typically used to get produce/groceries at a less expensive store, but the small difference in price and the HUGE difference in customer service and community and genuine caring is totally worth it. I know every person in the Scottsdale/Thunderbird store from the manager Robert to the newest employees. Even just today I met a woman who was part time. It was her last day and she had nothing to gain from coming over to me and striking up a friendly conversation, which she did just because she was as nice as everyone else in this wonderful store. These guys have earned my business because THESE are the kinds of people I want to be around and support.

This is a good store for supplements. They have a large selection of supplements of all kinds. The prices on organic produce are reasonable but the selection is somewhat limited. The store is well organized, the employees are helpful and seem to enjoy their work. A nice store overall, very pleasant place to shop.

Good selection of glunten free items. I found glunten free cream of mushroom soup.

Sad to see they are now conforming and selling out as they no longer accept customers who are unable to wear a mask. Shame on them for refusing service to people with disabilities. Out of all places. Very disappointed and I will no longer give them my business.

Healthy choices everywhere! A lot of speciality brands to choose from.

Selection on fresh produce and gluten-free (outside of their absolutely massive gluten-free pasta selection which I enjoyed very much) is absolutely unimpressive. Also, their prices are just as steep as Sprouts without being able to offer the same quality and diversity of products. I guess if the drive wasn’t 20 minutes I wouldn’t mind it, but its limited selection and just general layout make it so largely unappealing in general. My advice is stick to Sprouts.

Great selection of natural herbs, remedies and supplements! Impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. Always a neat and clean environment. I feel that the staff could be trained a little better on the rewards program and the importance of connecting with shoppers on this. Customer service is key and I would say consistency is lacking a little but on that front. Always room for improvement and growth.

One of my favorite Health Food Stores! They carry items I cant find at Sprouts or Whole Foods. Prices on some supplements are actually cheaper than on Amazon! ALL of their produce is Organic which I appreciate because I only buy organic. Lastly, they offer FREE classes on health related topics. It makes me happy to support this business that is now operated by the founders children:)

Really great deals on lotsnof items, some are a little more expensive than other places but a lit are cheaper! They have a wider variety of vegan and veg frozen meal options than anywhere else! Amys brand glaore! Tons of dairy free yogurt brands too...not just coconut either!

Love shopping at this chain. Lots of unique vegan finds, bulk seeds/nuts/grains and employees are always friendly and helpful. Just a great environment. This one in particular seemed a bit larger than the central Phoenix one Ive been to more often and even had a large demonstration class area with an event going on which I thought was cool. I like that they dont use bags and instead reuse their boxes they get the food in. Wish one was closer to me as Im up near Anthem but will definitely be back to this location.

Great store. I used to stop at the locations in Flagstaff and Sedona. I am stoked they opened one here. It is not flashy or trendy.It is just awesome food at reasonable prices. All produce is organic. Even the packaged and canned goods are all quality.They have a lot of products that are allergy friendly. There is no butcher counter but they have a decent selection of meats. Shopping itself is a relaxed and quiet experience.

Fabulous grocery store if youre looking for well priced produce, health food, toiletries, cosmetics, and supplements. Theres also a display kitchen for classes. I could spend hours wandering the aisles. Dont forget your reusable bags - or youll end up lugging your goodies out in boxes.
