Happy to see a locally owned and managed store flourish. Stopped by today to pick up random hardware and spotted their IMPRESSIVE firearms section. Friendly and helpful store associates. More than happy to open up my wallet and support this store.

UPDATE: The business called me and they are going to take care of the issue. Another company told me that it is normal to remove the handle during screen replacement, so my guess is that when they replaced the screen, the handle was left off by mistake.I believe in shopping local, taking care of the small business, well not this business. I gave this hardware my business instead of the big guys as I own my own business.I brought in a door to have the screen replaced, when I got it back, the handle was completely gone. I thought, ok, they must have lost it in transport, they will take care of it. Nope, the owner CALLED ME A LIAR and said it never had a handle because he took pictures (not before but after the handle was missing) and said there was dirt and cobwebs on it and they couldnt have been there if the handle was there. Really? I take apart electrical boxes outside, covers on things etc., bugs, dirt can get inside anything.End of day, I cant believe the owner will not take care of this and is calling his good customer a LIAR but saying that I brought in the screen with a missing handle.Unbelievable. Goes to show you people dont care anymore. I dont know how businesses like this stay alive if they dont take care of their customers. I hope others think twice before catering to this unreasonable owner that doesnt care about his customers!

Questions always get thoughtful answers and most times two employees from different departments will come to the best possible solution and even then you may be presented with choices! Been using this store years and have never been disappointed

Subtract a couple of stars for the ( independent owned store ) mask enforcement and minus 1 more star for locked restrooms. Add a star for great selection of useful items and 2 more stars for selling guns!

Can’t say enough about this store. Clean, shelves stocked perfectly, and the real ‘kicker’...the staff. Primarily made up with young high school/college types...they are customer oriented, knowledgeable, and dressed sharp. It’s actually a pleasant experience shopping there.

Stopped in to get some keys made for work. The Associate at the key counter was great. When I went to ring out with the cashier, he didnt ask for my rewards number. When I said something he just said Oh sorry dude and walked away.

Refused to take my hundred dollar bill because it wasnt one of the new ones... im not sure how legal it is to pull a move like that but even if its completely legal they lost my business for good and being a plumber I used to use that location more often than not when I was short a part or two.... no more i dont do business w companies that are this ridiculousThanks for the reply but if your employees cant discern a fake from a real bill with the multiple safety features put into all bills to validate authenticity then i would probably train better or fire more often. I would not inconvenience my regular customers that are just trying to get back and finish their job but cant use their us currency at the local parts store.

Large store with great selection. Helpful staff

Dont go to this Ace with vehicle keys not worth the money they charge for the key and if you have your own Blank key they will not copy for you say its a liability issue However they really just want to make money off of you buying a key off them you can buy the same key for $25 that they sell for over $100 allows what a rip off

Went in to pick up an FFL item at 6:25pm. After going to the register, the guy behind the counter said it was getting late and they couldnt do the transfer. After disappearing in the back for a few minutes he said he called the owner and the owner agreed, even I did this a month ago with no problems after work around the same time.

This place is the quintessential Friendly Hardware store!I recently went in to purchase a Weber grill after reading the reviews and where to find locally.Once in the store I was really impressed with their inventory and ended up paying double my expectations for a more equipped Weber Genesis II and I didn’t even think twice about it, bc of the customer service & free delivery SAME DAY!! unheard of at the big box stores. (Which I did stop at on my way home out of curiosity and saw my grill there for $250+ more expensive)Once I unwrapped my grill and had some time to look it over, I found a personalized note thanking me for my business, And lil gift!! Such a nice gesture!!My delivery guy, David and Bill were both outstanding!! Even when he locked his keys in his truck and had to bear hanging out with me and my dogs waiting for the roadside assistance. lol.Thanks again!!

Pinnacle Peak Ace Hardware & Paint had everything that we needed for keeping us safe during this difficult COVID-19 time and the staff was very helpful. Their website is well-maintained, letting us know when things that are hard to get right now come in so we can get them. This has been especially helpful during this time, when nearly everywhere else I shop at is out of stock of most of the things I need. The prices are very competitive, and they dont take advantage of the consumer during this challenging time, even when I can imagine that their suppliers are hiking up the prices on the high-in-demand items on them. The store itself is always spotless and kept very clean and sanitary during this COVID-19 situation, and I always feel welcomed and have a pleasant experience when I shop here. Its a great hardware store.

I wonder if the store ownership knows that price gouging is against the law. Paid $10.95 for 1 KN95 mask. Unfortunately did not know any better and paid it. I found the same mask for sale on line for $3.40 with free shipping. I bought it on line and have received the identical mask from another source. I will remember price gouging long after this crisis is over.

They always have exactly what I need! Today, it was hex nuts to finish the assembly of something that only provided bolts.... And I picked up several other useful items that Id not seen anywhere else, on my way to checkout. The staff is always helpful and cheerful and make shopping there a positive experience.

My all time favorite ace hardware store in AZ! Every time I come in to this ace they find me exactly the right person who is the best in that department. Really means a lot when I have no clue how to repair a toilet and was going off a YouTube video on what I thought was wrong with it. Even though I don’t know much about repairs they made sure I was taken care of & found the correct flapper and toilet ring for my specific brand of toilet. You have a customer for life!!! Thanks for always being so helpful!!!

Basic hardware store and home center. Decent selection of tools, supplies, parts, and accessories for the home. Pool supplies, yard tools, BBQ paraphernalia, electrical, and plumbing parts are all well stocked. Definitely not the cheapest place to buy stuff for your project, but fair and fast enough to make this the first stop. Friendly staff are helpful, if not the most knowledgeable. I shop here often, but dont know anyone there by name.

This is a good location but some associates there seem bothered when you need help or don’t exactly know what you need.It’s already mostly higher priced item store so to me customer service should be utmost priority

This is a really nice neighborhood hardware store. Every time I visit, I’m amazed by what I can find. It seems like they carry a little bit of everything! The employees are very friendly, and they’re are always available to help you find something or answer a question.

This place has really helped me out when I’ve needed it! The customers service is fantastic, and they have knowledgeable people in every area of home repair . I first came in when I needed help fixing my faucet that was leaking, and they helped me fix it in no time! They also have a master Gardner named Bob who had helped me with a few plants I have struggled to keep alive. I brought in my small succulent and bob told me that I had been watering it too much, in addition to me not watering my Lavender plant enough!The checkout people are always happy and upbeat, unlike some places you go in, and the cashier is standing there on their phone or very unhappy.Thanks for all of your help through the years, Ace sure is the place!!

Great hardware store....

Was in this Ace today for something else and saw they were selling 40 packs of Kirkland bottled water for $13!! How is it in this time of need that a local business is selling another companies water for a 500% markup? They also had things like cleaning supplies and paper towels all together up front as you walked in. Im sure they were all marked up as well but I didnt notice the prices because I walked out when I noticed the price of the water. Never shopping here again.

Like most Ace Hardware stores, this store has everything you could want. Employees are extra-friendly and helpful. But what was particularly impressive is the commitment and concern of the owner, John. When there was a small problem with an order, he came out to our residence to look at options and measured for replacements, etc in order to solve the problem. He went way above-and-beyond to help out and it was greatly appreciated. Lets take care of our local, community-oriented businesses like Pinnacle Ace Hardware.

This store offers great customer service. We needed paint and were able to get helped right away and get all of our questions asked. The store is clean and has a large selection for being the size that it is. I was surprised that you can buy firearms and ammunition here. They have you covered on all the essentials and then some.

They had the part that I needed and it was actually the very last one it ended up being a good trip

I have always gotten great service from Ace Hardware Stores. I needed miniature screws to repair a hinge on a wooden box I use for a display for my jewelry business. They helped me find the right screws and even installed them for me.Thanks Ace Hardware..

This place discriminates against handicap people. I was just accosted by three employees of this ace at the same time for not wearing a mask when I cannot wear one. Ive never felt so ashamed of my medical condition before. I had to go sit in the car and cry.

Generally a quick and easy stop for essentials, with lots of fun extras! Ive had some very knowledgeable employees help me here.

Nice people. They have just about everything here. Well organized. Prices are just a bit higher than the big box stores, but to support local businesses and for the convenience its worth it.

There are always staff to help you find whatever youre looking for. Youll probably be in here 2 minutes before someone makes sure you can go straight to that thing you wanted: cleaning supplies, drip system, fan remote, sink stopper, etc. And its convenient both in its small size and location.Sign up for the Ace rewards points - they really dont nag me in any way, but do regularly send me $5 off or a percentage off. I used to always drag myself to the big hardware stores to save a dollar or two, but that takes so much time - not just to get there, but to get through the store. And Ive gotten such great advice here about how best to get algae out of my fountain, bees away, what glue to use to fix the leaking base of a basketball hoop, etc. Worth it.And theyre friendly.

Moved to Scottsdale 2 years ago & spent easily over1,000 $ at this store. Lady cashier not customer friendly & gave me an embarrassing difficult time with a small return. Ace is not the place with a smile & helpful hand.

After waiting 6 months for custom screens they arrived incorrectly made. Once they finally corrected the screens, after much persistence, PP Ace Hardware proceeded to process an unauthorized charge to a credit card number we used on a prior transaction and they kept on file. At the advice of my credit card provider I requested that they reverse the charge. The Owner, John Arterburn, initially refused and only reversed the unauthorized charge when our credit card provider suggested that I process a fraud claim. Once remedied we remitted full payment. PP Ace, John Arterburn, and their outside salesman, Robert Diegel, are unethical.

They sell everything Home Depot doesnt stock or runs out of. But they are very expensive, even for a N. Scottsdale Ace.
