Was vacationing in Scottsdale with the family and we decided to stop at a few stores in Old Town Scottsdale. We paid American Leather a visit and we were immediately greeted by a very friendly employee named Manal. I sell leather furniture so I can recognize good leather when I see it, but I found myself a little out of my depth and was very impressed with Manal’s product knowledge. I wound up purchasing a new alligator leather wallet that I’m ecstatic over. I highly recommend American Leather to anyone wanting a quality leather belt, jacket, and wallet and I can’t thank Manal enough for her great service.

Okay so Ive only visited this place once, but Im just going to go ahead and put this out there, they are not exaggerating when they say that they are makers of high-end belts. After my last Walmart deal broke I went back over to Walmart trying to find another belt and for the love of God I could not find one that looked decent enough where I wouldnt die from embarrassment wearing it around my waist. From there I ended up Google searching belt shops in the area. Needless to say I got everything except what I was looking for... That being said one result out of the 35 or so that I got looked promising so I decided to pay them a visit. They have a wonderful large selection of different colors, styles, men and women, and sizes for belts! Plus on top of that they also have the ornamentals for the belts and can attach them for you. Mix and match for the win! I ended up customizing two belts with buckles, and bought a third one as is. The price that I paid was roughly about $300, but I mostly attribute that to my expensive taste. Normally I would glare at the guy that spent $300 on a belt, yes even if it was three belts I would still glare at him. But in this very specific circumstance I walked out wearing my new belt, had a smile on my face, I felt that the $300 that I spent was very well invested. Now I have three new belts that I can use to go with my outfits and I dont have to look like a bum going out on the town.

Came here to get my buddy back home a belt, and it was top of the line quality. This is what I love about a business - great product and great service.

Great place for your leather needs!

I brought my late husbands ring in to make a bracelet out of it..with the ring in the center and the band made of leather with a cross stiched into each side. The attention to detail and the care the leather maker (or more like artist) put into it was amazing. He really cares about his craft and truly enjoys his work. I would trust this place to make anything. This was something that meant a lot to me, and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

I have been looking for a Ranger Belt for a long time. I was visiting Scotsdale on a tour of the U.S.. The staff at the shop were brilliant. A bespoke belt was made for me within 3 hours. They did not want me to have to pay the$100 postal fee to send it to the UK. A visit for leather goods is must.

Nice And knowledgeable Italian leather maker was at the store. The two alligator skin belts that I got from him were of excellent quality. The prices were quite exorbitant...hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
