Worst experience, we travelled from Tucson as we heard they have best customer service. We ordered 3 chandeliers from store when they arrived one of them was not the same as we ordered. The one we saw in store had bright white bulbs but the we got had yellow/warm bulbs. We tried contacting store multiple times spoke to manager, one manager agreed that those bulbs were definitely different from what we saw in the display. We asked for refund or replacement then two days later another manager called that the bulbs in store are in yellow color( we were 4 people who saw those all of us couldn’t be blind, on top of it their own manager agreed those were different). and she refused replacement or refund.We were not told on purchase that one you’re getting would be different.

Sales woman went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I wanted. Great service. Great selection. They know their product.....unlike Home Depot or Lowe’s. I prefer specialty stores over giant one size fits all home product stores.

Purchased a 7k chandelier for our living room. Was provided an installation vendor to deliver an estimate. Vendor took many weeks to come by and look at the ceiling.. was promised an estimate via email. Week goes by .. no call.. reach out to sales, was told I would get a call back from a manager.. waited a day.. no call.. wife called the installer and at this time the installer informed her he couldnt do the job.. no call back from Lamps Plus Management. still waiting.. this is not what I expected.. I understand the installer is a sub, however he is wearing the brand on his chest.. need follow-up as to the why..... btw the chandelier is still sitting on my porch on a pallet..

Never had a problem before now. We bought track lighting paid for installation when called to set up Jamie our salesman told installation could be alot more.What a run around he gave us.Wond up returning track lighting. We have 5 fixtures in our house from them never a problemThis is old sales technique, throw it out there and hope it sticks. He put fan on installation order to cover his b ad quote on lighting installation. What a crock

Dianna Marcus helped me and I will definitely see her when I go back. Theyve seen me a lot in the past year, so theyll keep seeing me! This time, I called about a chandelier and Kami (sp?) helped me on the phone, and was awesome. I think shes a Manager. She had Dianna help me with some additional pendant lighting. I renovated a house last year and bought most of the fans and lighting from here along with some furniture...I have always had a good experience whether in store or online, happy with the quality and the furniture delivery has always been stellar. Dianna is my in-store gal from now on though!

I had never been in this place before, but I broke a lamp today and needed a new one. I walked around for a bit, and it was very busy so I wasnt expecting to be assisted by anyone, which was totally fine because I was wandering in awe at the amount of lamps they had, plus other stuff like mirrors and chairs and tables. Its crazy. I picked out a lamp and brought it up to the counter, where Michael helped me. I noticed no one else was holding lamps and asked if I did it backwards, to which he laughed and assured me it was fine but hell check for a new one in the back for me. Turns out it was the last one so it worked out. He was extremely helpful and friendly, and signed me up for their rewards program so I got 10% off. Very happy with my experience, and will definitely be back for more lamps and lamp related merchandise.

Jeremy was awesome, very helpful with selecting my fixtures! I called a couple days after my purchase because one of mine had gone on sale and he quickly and happily submitted for a partial refund! Great service!The installation went beautifully as well.The gentleman was on time and courteous. Smooth process all around. I dont post a lot of reviews but since I saw some negative ones, I felt obliged to let everyone know what a terrific experience I had! I recommend Lamps Plus! Go see Jeremy!

I went in and had the best experience with Jaime as my salesperson. A wealth of information, he was able to educate me on different lighting and which would be best for my home & lifestyle without those high pressure tactics that can make shopping horrible. He held items for me and was able to get me immediate delivery/install all while making me feel like a friend, not just a client. 10/10 would recommend to any & everyone needing fixtures.

I would make it less than one star if I could. I bought a ceiling fan from the store. It was very straight forward, I came in knowing what fan I wanted because I had the same one in my last house that the Peoria store installed four years earlier. The salesman needed a lot of help from the manager getting the fan ordered. While I was in the store, I had to have my husband measure our ceiling height at our house to ensure I didnt need an extension rod. I went home with the fan portion that day but had to wait for the light portion. That part was no problem. A week after receiving the light portion, I had to call the installation department who never received the paperwork from the store regarding the installation. So they book the installation, and the installer comes to my house and tells me he cant legally install the fan because our ceiling didnt have the proper clearance. I have tried to call the store manager multiple times and they are completely ignoring me. What a waste of time and gas. Now I have to drive back down there and demand my money back because they knowingly sold me a fan that was unsafe for my house. Im so unhappy with the service and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. The Scottsdale store is a joke. Theyll sell you expensive fans that they wont install and then ignore you completely. Dont go there.

I have spent a great deal of money at this store and the store in Chandler. Recently I needed a part so I called their corporate office. They had me on the phone for an hour and the employee failed to even listen or focus on what I was saying to be able to help. Since they dont keep combined records at the stores and their online system, she said I had to call the store in Scottsdale. They had a temp employee they put in place to block you from reaching a manager or even a sales person. Every time you call he would say no one is available but I can have someone call you. They failed to ever call back and I left several messages. A few days later I told this same temp I was not hanging up until he got a manager on the phone. So they had an assistant manager talk with me. He stated that Scottsdale is too wealthy of an area to hire good people as no one needs a job. He told me that the owner wont join the BBB because they want the business to pay and he wont pay. The hours I spent was way above what any company should expect their customers to spend. When I couldnt reach the Scottsdale store, I tried the Chandler store only to be told they would call me back when they could find a part. When they failed to call back, I called that manager again and she told me that they dont keep parts for their light fixtures and sent me a long list of new lighting products to buy. So they give you bad service and then send you a list of products to buy from them in place of a small metal plate that is different than most other lighting? It is a light made by Lamps Plus in China and is probably so cheap that they dont make parts. But I paid hundreds for the light. I tried to reach the owner and you get a message saying my email contained information that failed their internal tests so he blocks anyone from trying to reach him. When I tried to back to the store manager in Chandler, I then recieved the same message. So it looks like if you complain or have a problem they block you. This has to be the worst business in Arizona for customer service. What this owner doesnt understand is that some people have a lot of contacts, that when the feedback gets to them, they will look elsewhere for lighting. I guess he has made enough treating his customers with such disrespect that he just doesnt care. I would look at the lighting shops elsewhere in Phoenix and Scottsdale as they have much better lighting and know how to treat customers. The final issue was the assistant manager in Scottsdale telling me that their lighting products are mostly made in China as most people wont pay high prices? Have you seen the prices they are charging for Chinese made lighting? Take a look at the number of complaints on the BBB site. Just because they still give them an A rating, look at the large number of complaints and reach them.

My God, I went to the store to get a little help as per lighting suggestion/help on my vaulted ceilings I was told to go to the website.Well lade friggin DUH. If I wanted to just search their site I would of not wasted the gas.I ended up going to a local lighting store and purchased 4 ceiling fans and two room lights.... With Courteous knowledgeable help.

The sales staff was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and professional... not only in helping me with the product, but with what I was envisioning in my home decorating ideas. Horrible experience. They make it sound like you need a PhD in lights for the simplest questions. All I needed was light shade replacement and it took an hour before they admitted they had no clue. They only get a start because they recommended Home Depot. At Home Depot I was in and out in 5min with exactly what I needed.

At first it was great. lots of nice things to choose from. but they will sell you anything and lie about the products. I spent hundreds of dollars on bathroom light fixtures, fans and other room lights. Four years later they all suck.. I did not realize I was expected to change out fixtures in less than five years considering the ones they replaced were over thirty years old. But of course everything is made in China now. You might as well save your money and buy cheaper crap from the big box, it is all going to be bad in a few years anyway. Dont waste your time and money at Lamps Plus.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. After being ignored by 4 sales people for a good half hr. One finally realized I was there. Unfortunately her knowledge of lighting and lamp shades was so inferior I was answering my own questions. Not only didnt she care. Then she told me to look up inventory on line myself. Total waste of my time. With sales people like this amazing you are still in business. You wont be seeing me again. Nor my friends.

Worst customer service you can imagine. They are fine when you are buying but if you have a problem expect no return calls. They recommended Bill to do he installation of their products and again nice happy guy when he charges you $800 a day to do the work, however dont expect him to return to correct his mistake, removed a dimmer switch for a ceiling fan and never returned to correct it. When as brand new ceiling fan stopped working 3 calls to Scottsdale lamp Plus and 2 calls & 1 text to Bill get ZERO return calls. I would not buy anything from them or use Bill. You will get better customer service from Home Depot.

Reading these other reviews Im thinking to myself did these people even go to the same store I did?!? My husband and I went in looking for ceiling fans and werent disappointed. The staff was friendly but not pushy and even the store manager Kammy said hello to us and asked how everything was going. The store was clean and well lit (haha). Bottom line I would recommend them 100%.

Pros & Cons of this place.PROS: beautiful and over abundance of nice lighting fixtures and other small home decor to tailor to any needsCONS: customer service was unenthusiastic at BEST.We wondered the store to see if we could find what we needed before asking for assistance, we found a few items but wanted some help from an associate, we waitied a bit for our turn (due to high volume of customers at the moment, Im sure) and after about 10 minutes an associate came over (with a dull attitude) and asked us if weve been helped and we told her what we were looking for and she had us wonder through the store to find 3 stands with the fixtures which might suit our needs. We found one that we liked and then she then went to the service computer to see if it was in stock, and had ME Read off the the SKU to her. It wasnt in stock but could have it shipped. So we went to check out counter to place an online order. She asked for a street address so we assumed it was the billing address, gave ours and then she asked for the shipping, (which would have been a different place. We were having it shipped to a different address than the billing address) ALL ALONG it was supposed to be the reverse, she wanted the shipping address first and so on, and since there was a miscommunication between us, she got snarky and rolled her eyes. After all that, we tried to pay cash for it. She said oh... I cant take that I DIDNT REALIZE I WAS IN THE ONE ESTABLISHMENT IN ARIZONA THAT DIDNT TAKE CASH. I work in the costumer service industry and if she needed a credit card payment for an online order, she could have said it. But instead she said i cant take that what the hell! I whip out my card quickly just to end this interaction as fast as possible and then she said okay, should be there by Friday and to end it all, I had to ask for a receipt of purchase. It wasnt offered to me, I had to ask for it!The establishment was nice with all the lighting things you could possibly think of BUT our experience with a staff member was dull and off-putting. So thank you LISA for making me never wanting to return to your store.

Very unhappy! Ordered a vanity on 10/3 and it came broken. After I sent pics and made a couple calls to Lamps Plus they finally picked up the broken vanity. They promised a new one was on the way. Ive called four times since and still dont have one. Its now 11/14. I trusted they would follow through and now wont have one when my company comes for Thanksgiving. Poor service!!!
