They have the worst baggers I have ever seen. They overload the bags, even if you bring your own. It doesnt matter if you ask them not to. I have to carry my groceries up a flight of stairs. They put heavy stuff on top of bread, fruit, etc. They just dont care. It has to be the generation. I have spoken to the manager on duty but they shrug it off.Poor customer service.
Dont go to this Kroger for the Deli. Terrible Deli department. 3 times in a row couldnt get anyone to wait on me even though there were employees in the Deli, unbelievable!. I will not be going back to this Kroger again. I recommend the Kroger in La Porte, they will at list help you there
Is there 100 stars? I wish. This location was the absolute best Kroger experience I’ve had, ever. I’m 5 months pregnant and just moved back to Texas with my family.. today was move in day so you can imagine how tired I was. I forgot almost all Kroger’s only have self checkout open in the evenings so I got to the checkout lines with a basket full of groceries and almost on the verge of tears. I didn’t want to do that by myself lord knows! Well, Ms. Anne saw my struggle and called a cashier right away for me! 💗 Dominic & Amber so kindly checked me out & bagged my groceries. They even made small talk and asked about my day. The sweetest customer service. Amber also called help for me to get my groceries in the car, his name was Jordan. Also a sweetheart. I just want to cry!! I know it’s the pregnancy emotions, LOL. I will be back!!! Thanks everyone for being so kind.
Comment on Seabrook Kroger, Yeppers, you bet I will!!😎 Nasty Nasty, Nasty!! Has not been remodeled in 35 years!! No, they do not have to be New, Pretty, or Clean as they will get customers, after all they are in a spot with NO Competition!! Ive been in Seabrook 71 yrs I know. I prayed Kroger would be taken Out by the New Hwy 146!! I love Randalls!! 😄
Rude pharmacy staff Jacob and Temekah both abuse laugh n lie about medical situations to customers. The managers do nothing about it Carter and taliha are incompetent. Cvs has better pharmacy prices and plenty other stores have what you need for a cheaper price. Take your business someplace better
I went to this Kroger for the first time yesterday, April 1st because they gave me the best discount price on a prescription I needed. Great store...clean, friendly, huge selection of all foods. And they didnt demand Masking. Some folks wore masks, some didnt but everyone respected one another. All employees wore masks. I didnt see a single customer that was a Mask-Shamer. There was ample room for physical distancing, and hand sanitizing stations throughout the store. The produce section was beautiful, the meat department super clean and smelled very fresh. I was actually impressed by the price of goods I purchased. I went in for one item and ended up doing all my shopping there. PS: Both Deli and Bakery were fully stocked and attractively layed out...While parking, I thought it was going to be a hole-in-the-wall but inside it was much larger than I expected. Ill be back ❤
This has been my neighborhood store for 20 years now and I love this store and the people who work here. It is not an epicurean market but they have the essentials and the price is fair. The employees are friendly and helpful. Here are some pictures of the aftermath of the Hurricane Harvey mass community shopping spree. They may not have bananas and corn but they do have water!
Nice enough store.. If you dont count the expired cans on the shelves that they expect you to go through Returns desk ( Empty of employees.) when all you wanted was to swap like-for-like.I work, I dont have time to wait twenty minutes for another damn jar of mushrooms on my lunch break.Hope your stock drops.Yours TRUELY,JOSHUA AARON KAISER.
I like our towns Kroger. The employees are nice and they have everything I usually need for groceries. The prices are good and they always have specials.
This location does not enforce the use of Mask. I went this week and a high percentage of customers do not wear Mask. I asked two employees regarding the Mask and enforcing it to customers. Both said, it’s the customer decision to wear one or not. All customers have the right to choose. One of the visits, I counted around 8 customers without a Mask. The second visit 6 customers without a mask roaming all over the place (I literally counted). Also, on the second visit, I can hear a clear conversation behind me during checkout about her having COVID-19, she wasn’t wearing a Mask. I immediately left once I heard that. Didn’t see Kroger monitoring nor enforcing the situation. No Masks were provided onsite for those that forgot to bring Mask. The cart section was a disaster. Carts were all scattered at the inside entrance. No wipes were provided and nor carts were sanitized. I watched an employee bring in the carts and did not Sanitize them.My wife is a Covid ICU nurse at Texas Medical Center and Covid is serious. Patients by the high numbers are still dying everyday.Hope Management is able to read my message and take immediate action. Kroger at Seabrook, Please take Covid seriously!!! Enforce your policy and CDC guidelines. Safety should always come first for your employees and customers.Positive Note: Glad to see that Kroger provides curve side assistance! Most Respectfully,Seabrook Resident
I come to this Kroger occasionally because it is the only actual grocery store in Seabrook. From the outside you can tell it has been there for a while and when you enter it has the same feeling. The service is always good though that is why I come back, especially from Angela at self check out. You can tell she always puts effort into making the guests have a better day when they leave from when they came in. Anyways I’m giving it a 5 star because of her and I see the potential within the store to continue operating but under more responsible pretenses.
Deli is awful. Rude!
Store is clean, staff are great, but its so small! I will drive to LaPorte most of the time to have more options available to me even though we live blocks away from this location. Hopeful they will expand soon.
I usually like shopping at the Seabrook location but was extremely disappointed today. They had a special in the flyer for steelhead trout. They only had about 3 pounds in the entire store and it didnt look very good. They had no more in the back. I frequently find that they run out of specials quickly. I often have to wait for a long time for a butcher. Most stores have a bell or buzzer but here you just wait. Deli is very friendly and helpful.
The place nice but expensive, so wal-mart is better.
Always good service, particularly from pharmacy. We have been patrons for over ten years.
Baggers no masks above their nose. 5th time I complained. Management laughed last time I said something, The response will be the typical we follow strict guidelines, blah blah blah, They leave out the part that there is nothing they are going to do about it. Just read Carlas review below!
Quote today from Tameka “we can can’t charge you the right prices cause you have too many scripts...5? Too many?? If you can’t see that last month I paid x, this month your charging twice as much? How can you follow script direction??Really friendly! Love the pharmacy, always look for best prices for me. And keep me up to date on my scripts.
Worst customer service and staff is completely unfriendly. Avoid your visit to this worst store. Please make sure price ring correctly for itemOn sale and lot of expired items on store shelf. @texashelath department should make a visit.
Great store to come and do your shoppings.
Great store, staff is very friendly and helpful. Only place I buy groceries.
Very average. The store feels pretty worse for wear, especially their carts which are mostly beat up with worn out wheels that are very noisy. I much prefer the local HEB, but I’ll go to this Kroger for small trips since it’s much closer.
I asked for the bathroom and Corey (assistant manager) was rude and gave me and my friend a horrible look. unrespectful. No wonder why everyone loves HEB and none talks about Kroger.
Management could listen to their employees a little more and give them their assigned breaks and not degrade the staff in front of customers. Other than that its okay.
Great shopping, Great Service and Outstanding staff. Always friendly and Always Welcomed. A Home away from Home.
This store refuses to follow Krogers own policy regarding EBT purchases.Which is like any other store that accepts EBT, If the food/beverage item states Nutrition Facts on the label its accepted. If it says supplement Facts its not. So i tried to purchase an item which stated Nutrition Facts on the label and they said I couldnt. I had to go to HEB which was no problem.
I unfortunately live down the street so this store is convenient. Many time I drive miles and miles just to avoid this store. Frequently, I have to run in for something quick and there is no one to help. Usually, they are all out in front of the store smoking. It is always “someone else’s job” when I ask for help. Today there was one lane open, 7 full carts in line and a team meeting including at least 10 employees 5 feet away from the line. Ms. Vang has always be helpful and courteous but I haven’t experienced the same from many others. The store is NOT clean and the parking lot is filthy. They are frequently out of items I need or just don’t carry them at all. Please train employees on SIMPLE customer service skills or hire new employees!
Exceptional customer service! Great employees and I was really pleased at how well management responded to and organized customers during the hurricane. I come here at least twice a month and service is always prompt and kind, the store is cleanly and well stocked. My only complaint is the limited Latin foods selection.
Its cozy and hardly ever crowded. Its small enough that help in never too far away. It has a home town feeling rather than a corporate giant feeling. The people are so sweet and get to know you and remember you. They have a great selection of organic and regular produce for being a smaller store. Parking is never too far from the entrance. They always have pretty plants outside.
I was having trouble using the digital coupons this morning on the self checkout, but Betty was extremely patient and helpful! We got it all figured out, and I ended up saving $10 on just a handful of items!
Horrendous experience all because of your manager Nathan. He checked out my groceries and directed me to customer service counter for a toll pass.I expressed how long the line was and he indicated it should go quick.Once he was done checking out the customers, he casually looks at his watch and ignores all the customers waiting in the line. He could have a been a “go getter” team leader and help his team but pretty sure he just took a donut break. After waiting for 20 minutes in the line, I was informed that they DO NOT sell toll passes. What a waste of time!!!Managers should be knowledgeable and lead by example. This guy is just an overpaid cashier in my eyes. Not a true leader/manager.Will NEVER come to this Kroger again. I will have my groceries delivered via shipt app from HEB.
This Kroger is great. I am here often and the associated are friendly. Cashiers work very quickly to get you out the door. It is a big store but is not super busy on weekday evenings. Weekends are pretty busy though.
The Share your Christmas committee would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the exemplary help we received from some of the Kroger employees. The employees assisted us in ringing up and loading multiple baskets of groceries for some of the less fortunate children in Seabrook. The employees provide excellent customer service. They were helpful and patient while we finished getting all the groceries. They were efficient and not only served us well but thought ahead on how best to process several baskets loaded with items in a way that did not block or slow down other customers. Clearly it is employees like these that make this Seabrook Kroger an amazing store.
Been coming to this location since birth practically. Maybe not as nice of an appearance compared to other locations, but the staff here is fantastic.
Trips to my local Kroger are always easy in and easy out! I know where everything is going to be and I dont waste time when I am there.
My #1 Grocery store. They not only have good deals on most products, their meat is always fresh and now Im loving their new wine & champagne selections.Go Krogers!!! Oh, and did I say the great savings I achieve on gas with my Kroger points👏👏👏
First time ever giving a review, but John and Genie both gave exceptional service at the checkout. Both very friendly and efficient striving to make every customer happy and put a smile on their face.
Very nice place to shop. Older small store with limited selection but convenient to get in and out easily.
Great for convenience but unfortunately prices could be a lot more competitive. Kroger does have the absolute BEST heavy cream. Its the thickest, richest cream you can buy!
Called this morning about a package of cheese I purchased having mold on it and I did not have my receipt. John, the customer service supervisor said for me to come on in and I could get a new package to come to him directly. I arrived and said I needed to also grab water and milk and he said it was fine for me to just come back to him. Returning to the booth, he rang up the new package of cheese, waters, and milk free of charge! For the incovenience that right there is awesome customer service!
Such a nice small Kroger. Every time Ive been, the employees are very nice and often make conversation if youre idling. Nothing fancy, but a cozy neighborhood grocery store.
When Im needing food for the week or Gatorade for the troops, Kroger keeps us going. Prices and deals are great and they are a full service store. Meat and Deli, Pharmacy, and a Floral department. For small town shopping this store has everything we usually need. Even when there is a disaster/hurricane. Krogers goes above and beyond when the community needs them the most.
The Kroger is so close to my house, and it has the best employees. Miles in the deli gives great service! Always so friendly and polite.
Small store with a large selection. This is my favorite store in the area to buy fruit and vegetables. They always have a good fresh bunch of fruit and veggies as well a good selections of almost everything else you need. However they don’t usually have odd items or newer organic goods.
This store does a great job delivering clean produce, fresh meats, and the bakery/deli section has fantastic cookies for the kids!
Great shopping, Great Service and Outstanding staff. Always friendly and Always Welcomed. A Home away from Home.
Always a super friendly, helpful staff. Cannot say enough good things about this store. In the four years I have been in this community, this has become my favorite place to shop.
A great grocery store for the neighborhood or passersby. This Kroger is not one of the superstores, but it is a really great place to shop for groceries whether one is loading a cart-full or picking up things for dinner or a BBQ. Look for the better than Wally-World prices. Friendly staff and a small but good deli as well as helpful and prompt pharmacy personell make for a pleasant visit. The butchers in the meat department are knowledgeable and helpful as well. The employees will greet with a smile and wont smother, but if you need help, just ask and you shall receive. Because I have been shopping here for 27 years, I know that many of the employees have been here for a number of years, so the cumulative experience makes this store the great store that it is. No bias on my part in favor of the store, just an honest rating from my pleasant shopping experiences.
The only reason this place is doing business is the fact ghat its the only grocery store around for miles. Its out dated and in bad shape but its all we have. Selection is always mediocre and they do not do well with stocking items you ask for. As soon as the new road opens this place will be history and HEB will take over as it will be so easy to get there.
Vehicle Registration Renewal at Customer Service. Fast & painless. If the review was for that alone, it would be five stars, but... The store itself looked... weathered and tired, compared to what Im used to seeing from a Krogers.

What did this store do to tacodealer to warrant such a video submission to miniladd. Either way subscribe to miniladd. #memestream24
1) Remodeled store - nice but they wont clean the floors. Nasty gunk on the floor weeks after the remodeling!2) Melted/Refrozen frozen foods - nasty ice crystals.3) Freezer temps too high - The Blue Bell ice cream is like soft serve even straight out of the freezer!4) Nasty parking lot - needs regular pressure washing or at least once!5) Check-out is pretty good and fast if not too friendly.
Its old, beat up and the selections are limited compared to other stores. The store was built in the early 80s. Needs a refresher. Or, better yet, tear it down and build a better one.
Needed more human cashiers. Otherwise love this Kroger! Clean & friendly
Customer service is great. The employees I have dealt with have a good attitude, are willing to help, and are efficient.
Clean store and the personnel very helpful. Have motorized shopping carts fot the handicap. If the Kroger brand is out will replace with another brand at the Kroger price.
This is my neighborhood kroger. I love it! Especially the girls who work the self check out. They are so sweet!
Genie was most helpful when I came in there tonight, she really exudes customer service at the highest level. Great job Genie, keep up the good work.....
Easy checkout. Little wait time.
With a store packed with customers stocking up for a potential tropical storm, the staff was polite, courteous and hel0ful. They were on top of restocking drinks and water, and were calling for deliveries of more water and other items they were getting low on. Great job!
Rude customer service. All the employees are always goofing around and throwing groceries being inconsiderate
Way better prices than Arlans, I go out of my way to stop here instead of there.
Employees are very nice. Decent organic & gluten free section.
Very courteous and professional personnel. good selection of groceries and excellent bakery.
Nice clean place, the workers very helpful, ease entry and exit parking lot .
Great customer service..as always...fresh produce always...
The floors are gross and disgusting. Broken coolers and freezers add to the ambiance. At least they had everything on my list today.
Great place if you need something quick. Not big on selection and produce is usually a couple of days from going good bad.
Prices are kinda high compared to other grocery stores near by. Their selection and quality of food is not as good. Lines are slow and employees seem unhappy. I only go here if Im in a pinch and only need a couple of items. Then I use self checkout.
We love going to our neighborhood Krogers but today was different. They were out of a lot of the standard things we buy and there were a lot of new employees who obviously didnt want to be there.
Nice people. Good location. Good selection for size
Great store in Seabrook. The employees are great and helpful.
Picked up some odds and ends. Great stores.
Whole store smelled funny, and the chicken strips i bought were expired.
A nice grocery store. Decent prices and friendly staff.
Clean and great soundtrack 🎶. Free balloons for the little one. Nice they added more self check out stations.
Cashier at self pay registers didnt finish with my order before she went to help another customer. In other words as soon as I walked away she left my transaction didnt finish with me because she let another customer interrupt
Great people working there, the only place I will ever go.20 star
Nice friendly staff . They help you find the stuff your looking for .
This is a very clean and well organized store, with friendly and helpful staff!
Someone put this gorcery store name and this specific store number #342 on Mini Ladds Meme stream.
The bigger stores have more selection; but the staff is small town friendly.
Its a smaller Kroger than the others but the people there are really nice and its a clean store.
Great store but a small version of a regular Krogers with limited selections of a full Kroger
Great prices, clean facilities, excellent discounts and outstanding service.
Definitely an old Kroger. Im not sure the staff was very happy about working here, but we made it.
Love my local Kroger. They will be closing it down for a new location.
A smallish store that is good for last minute pick ups.
I have been going to this store for years. I love the local feel to it and the staff is away helpful.
What can i say 30 plus years if i had a problem., they always made it right. Wish there were more stars . I love my kroger thats all there is to it.
Because the people were very nice and lovingAnd it was very classy and clean
All the associates are great, But checker Sue is Exceptional!!!
Shopping here for 20 years. Always clean and staff is attentive and friendly.
They are always so nice
An older but always nice store to shop at...
If you need it and youre in the area this is an alternative thats pretty good!!
Sadly, cannot reccomend the Bakery. After ordering cupcakes to pick up at a later date for my son’s birthday party, all was a mess. The guy who took the order seemed clueless, which was a Friday evening. In sensing his uncertainty, i asked if the Bakery or cake decorater would be present when i picked up on Saturday, to which he responded, no. I asked him what if the order was incorrect at pick up, how could it be fixed before the party to which he stated it couldnt be, their only remedy would be a discounted sales price. So i called monday morning to speak with the cake decorator to ensure the order was taken correctly and my order was understood and doable. Everything seemed good to go. Fast forward to the next Saturday at cupcake pick up time— my “soft vintage baby blue smooth icing cupcake” birthday boy cupcake was bright, neon blue and not smooth but done in ribbons. And our 18 “off white smooth icing” cupcakes were light blue/purple. I expressed my upset with the product since i had called to speak with the cake decorater to ensure all was well, and i was driving to the party, so there was no time for repair. I got a shrug and “ i guess you spoke to the back up decorator and maybe she misunderstood”, and nothing else but a careless ‘sorry’. No care. Total waste of my time and money. And no customer service.
Found all on shopping list. Coupons help! Also 8 piece fried deli chicken $5!
