I have purchased numerous cars from Hopkins Automotive. With each one the staff went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. If you don’t see what you want, you can tell them what year, make, model, color, mileage and the price you want to pay and Hopkins will go find it for you. The staff was very professional and easy to deal with.

I’d give them 0 stars they illegally track your car and then when it’s paid for they don’t ask to remove the tracker. This is a violation of ones rights and a breach of contract.

Bought a car here about 5 months ago car runs fine shifts fine but when i test drove said vehicle my tire pressure light came on numerous times i told them they said well take care of it picked my car up two days later light came back on next day called them took car back they said they swapped tire i had picked up a nail never drove over 100 miles lied to me flat out and then replaced tire with a dry rotted used tire now im at home stuck with no tire and a toddler thanks Hopkins for absolutely nothing

Well I’ve had traded in my vehicle for another one at Hopkins and I only had it for 3 months. The car’s having a lot of problems already. Hopkins only gave me a 30 day warranty. When I went to Hopkins to trade I my car, they wouldn’t let me test drive it or choose from other vehicles. I thought that was strange. Don’t buy a car from Hopkins I’m begging you!!!!!

So very disappointed. What started out as a happy and exciting day became so very disappointing and scary. We purchased a vehicle As Is, and I understand that means you are getting it with whatever problems it may have, but to sell a vehicle that is completely unsafe to a large family, knowing we are putting 6 small children in it, is wrong. On the way home from purchasing our vehicle, the brakes locked up on me and caused us to slide to a stop. My husband climbed underneath after arriving home and noticed it was steadily dripping brake fluid. He also noticed that the ABS system had been unplugged underneath the vehicle. He decided to drive it back up there to talk to the dealership about and as he was leaving our neighborhood, the brakes went out completely. He had to drift across a busy road and roll to a stop in the grass. Imagine if the kids had been in the car and another car had been coming! Now we are stuck with a vehicle that we sunk all of our money in to that we cant move out of our front yard. We used everything we had to purchase this vehicle and now, the same day we purchased it from the dealership, were stuck with a lawn ornament. The salesman simply stated that it had brakes when it left their lot. Shady and dangerous. Im just so so thankful my children are ok.

They are good sales people but bad customer service there not that professional. Then when trading in a car that you owe money on its been almost four weeks and they still havent paid it off. So be careful of that. I just think they just wanted a sale. I wouldnt recommend any of my family or friends there

This is my familys 3rd vehicle from Hopkins and Ive been very pleased all 3 times. The last 2 times we bought through Mike Horvath. I definitely recommend him. He was very personable and worked with us in getting the right vehicle for our budget. The cars were clean, mileage was low, and runs great.

Overall, a good experience. I traveled over 3 hours to purchase a vehicle here. The staff was nice, and Erica was very helpful and efficient even with the dealership being busy. I did have to buy a new battery when I got home because it was 5 years old and was having trouble turning the engine over. Couple other little issues with the car but they were receptive to it and I also understand its a used car.

Dont buy a car from this place.The place is sketchy.They told me my husbands credit was locked and called the place it was never locked.Also they kept trying to put me in a car I didnt want and kept promising me they would get the car I did. The car they kept showing me was way over priced. I went that night to another dealer got approved for a 2015 mustang in perfect condition and didnt need any of the things they said i needed to bring them. Please look at the reviews and do NOT BUT A CAR from Hopkins . This is basically their junk lot. Ive had nothing but issues starting from the next day Ive had the vehicle .. Their mechanics cant fix a damn thing, and is always busy because all they do is sell lemons. Dont be fooled by the outside nice appearance .. Please dont make the same mistake I did & DO NOT finance with American Finance you will regret that as well .

Was totally freaking out the day we went had car issues couldnt get to work... We were blown away at how much these guys were able to help us! Our salesman Mike Horvath was totally amazing put us in a newer car with very few miles! 2016 Nissan Altima hubby and I LOVE IT! Car had a check engine light on it guys in the service area did let us know they dont really handle that but due to a convo prior to buying the vehicle they are gonna check it out for us..Cant really ask for more integral car people... Currently paying $800 in repairs for a truck I got 7 months ago because when the check engine light came on TWO DAYS AFTER GETTING MY CAR FROM THEM they told me they don’t guarantee check engine lights .

Every week my daughter is calling me telling me that her truck is not running properly something is wrong with transmission..they supposedly fix the problem 2 weeks ago over 15,000 for a vehicle bought from an auction ...i used to work at the auction ...and no paper work showing any work done to it....shady I say and just now Im on the phone with my daughter it is October 6th of 2017 at 2:47 p.m. and she almost gets clobbered by an 18-wheeler and couldnt get it to stop so shes in a ditch with my two grandchildren in the truck with her because the transmission that they supposedly fixed messed up something better be done or Im going to take care of it for them

Be wary of signing anything or even buying from Hopkins. I purchased a 2003 trailblazer from them. I was told in front of my step father the truck was 4850. After a long day at the lot I was given paperwork with another number so I questioned it and was told that was just the price with the interest. Ive recently looked back and found the price I am ultimately going to pay is over 13000. The vehicle was financed at an 8300 plus the 1000 I put down and all the interest plus tax and tags comes to 13k+. Partially my fault for not being more diligent but I went in with good faith intentions to buy a vehicle and was screwed by Hopkins.

These guys are amazing. I went to a few other dealerships first who werent willing to help me (even though they COULD have done something). I ended up travelling to Hopkins in SEAFORD because the Hopkins in salisbury is horrible. I was here for 10 hours on the day i purchased my car from the Seaford Hopkins and even though it seemed like a long time it didnt matter because they worked with me all day to make sure that I left with the car that I wanted for under the top monthly payment that I was willing to pay. They dont work on commission so they really made an effort to make sure that I was satisfied. They care and they are honest. I have and will continue to recommend everyone that I know to Seaford Hopkins. Erik is a great salesman and with the general manager Erikas help, they made it happen. They even contacted the regional manager when things werent looking so great at one point. I love the car and the price was ridiculously low. It runs great and has super low mileage. Great job guys!!!

They are very professional until they get what they want, ur signature and that check from the bank.. had issues with the vehicle .. and they were so willing to help me .... because the bank didnt cut them there check yet..... had issues couple weeks later ... but they didnt care about my issues or me anymore there whole atitutdes changed.. why? Because they got there check now....
