I was very happy with my experience with CARSTAR Hammer. Very friendly and helpful as I navigated insurance after an accident. They have a great relationship with the rental company and took care of arranging details with them. On top of the quick turnaround, my dirty old car came back cleaner than it had been in a long time - so nice of them to spend the time to make it look so nice, and repair the damage and make it look new again! Adrian and team were great!

CARSTAR Hammer is the best. Their work ethic, customer service and communications knocked me out. They took on an insurance claim job to repair damage from a stolen catalytic converter & O2 sensor, and install the replaced parts + a security shield. They provided me information throughout the process and made sure I was satisfied. And they washed & vacuumed my car - which was totally unexpected and a great bonus. I really appreciate their work. I have been going here for about 15 years for every single body shop service Ive needed and Ive ALWAYS been thrilled with their work and their service. They are super about communicating and incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when nobody enjoys having to fix their car!

I dont leave many reviews, however this was a great experience from start to finish. While I had to wait a couple of weeks to get my car in, it was well worth it — once in, they did a spectacular job with the body work, paid attention to detail and delivered ahead of the estimated timeline initially given. Id recommend them to anyone and this will be my first choice of body shops should I need one again in the future.

Carstar Hammer is the best. I will never take my car anywhere else. They are friendly, efficient, and do an excellent job. Recently brought my 2019 Chevy Bolt in after getting rear ended and it came back looking good as new, including a full cleaning inside and out. Seriously, it hadn’t been that clean since I drove it off the lot. I’ve used the company several times over the years and every experience has been great.

I had to wait 6 and half weeks to get my car back however the lady at the desk was polite and courtesy. They did a pretty decent job with my car and nice paint job. I was pleased and happy.

From start to finish, the best experience you can expect. No one likes to take their car in for a repair after a wreck, but Carstar/Hammer makes it enjoyable. From the estimate being accurate, to the friendliness of the employees, and finally the quality of work,; you would be doing yourself a disservice going anywhere else. This is my 3rd time using them, and I have had a perfect experience each time. They are the only shop in town I’ll ever use.

We always take our cars here. They do great work, have very reasonable prices, and schedule and complete work quickly. They work great with insurance or private pay. Picked up my car today and it’s beautifully detailed and washed in addition to the body repair! Highly recommend them.

Went to Carstar Hammer Auto Rebuild for a hit & run that damaged my car. I had a great experience with them: from the quick estimate (delivered quickly gia email), to the text messages of the repair progress, to the pickup of my car. They even helped me get my car rental when my car was in the shop.My car looked great! The staff were efficient, professional & honest! I highly recommend them & Ill go to them again IF I ever have to get my car fixed again.

I received excellent customer service from this location, and they were excellent communicators. When I called to check on the status of my vehicle, they were always quick to fill me in. Adrienne went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience with my auto body work, which is nice because being in an accident isnt any fun at all.I will be returning to this location if I need any work in the future and think that you will enjoy their awesome customer service and work.Also I would like to add that they do a complimentary detail which is awesome- it was nice to get back to my car and have my kids French fries vacuumed up. ( lol apologies to technician that had to vacuum up all the kid crumbs) it was just a nice icing on the cake.

Most importantly to me, she stayed late so that I could pick up my car after work considering I work long hours beyond their office hours and this reduced stress and made the entire process painless. They fixed my car up really nice and clean it too

They will put down that they removed a part but what they really mean is that they pulled it away and just did a small area. I work in a professional industry and i would not just leave something half done. They wanted to get the job done fast so they didnt upset the insurance company but i am the customer and will never suggest or take my own vehicle here again. Almost $1400 to basically paint over everything and pull a dent. Thats crazy. If they really cared about what they do for the community they would get things done for the customer not to make the insurance company feel better.

Adrian and her staff are simply amazing! My vehicle was hit while parked by a drunk driver texting. The damage was mainly on the bumper and rear wheels. My insurance recommend letting CarStar handle the repairs. From day one, Adrian took the time to explain the process and next steps. She periodically checked in and updated me on any changes. Great customer service, and they even finished EARLY! As far as needing a car repair place goes, its nice to have a place that made every step smooth and professional. They answered all my questions and--you guys--they cleaned my car inside and out before I picked it up. I would recommend this place to anyone needing body repair. As a note, the damage that I had fixed was from being rear-ended into another vehicle, and included new exterior parts, interior, and buffing/touch-ups.

This auto body shop was one of several recommended by my insurance company, Ameriprise. On my truck they replaced my front bumper skin, grille, and windshield. I dropped the truck off Monday at noon and was able to pick it up Thursday afternoon. My repairs were probably not terribly difficult, but their workmanship looks good to me. They washed the truck and vacuumed it out when done. They also handled my rental car when I was done with it. I feel I received good service from this company.

I decided to use this service because it was within my insurance network. Boy, was that a mistake. The initial amount of time for the repairs to my car were 2 weeks. I call the day before it’s due to be picked up and they tell me they need 2 more weeks and they they just ordered parts of the car. Shouldn’t that have been done when the car arrived in the first place? No worries, I understood sometimes things take longer then expected. I call 2 days before the new return date (1 month after I dropped the car off). I’m told they still won’t have the car ready and they need more time. I explained that it’s been a month already, I’ve been told this would be done and available for pick up on Thursday, July 11. They said they would do their best to have it ready. I call back in on the 11th (because they’re awful at giving updates) stating the car cannot be picked up because they’re STILL WAITING ON A PART AND THEY STILL NEED TO ASSEMBLE THE CAR. AGAIN, I’m understanding and agree to pick up the car the following day. When I arrive, I pay my deductible and am double charged by the front desk associate causing my account to be overdrawn. So now, my lights are getting shut off, I can’t pay my credit card payment so I’ll have a late fee, and to top it off, I have an overdraft fee from their error. I was told by these folks that the transaction had been voided and I would have my funds deposited 2 days ago.. yet here I am.. writing this review. PLEASE avoid this shop and the incompetent staff. You’ll save yourself a massive headache and a lot of money.

Slow. Refused to act on parts information that would helped the repair. Took six weeks for a clean replacement of parts job. 2 months later still waiting for a part. Part was located at 5 sources by me and they chose not to act on it.

In the past I have had good experiences with Carstar, but my latest experience has been less than ideal. In February of this year, my car slipped on a patch of ice and needed repair. The bodywork should only have taken a maximum of two, maybe three, weeks. Its been over a month. Ive had to call the company multiple times in order to get any updates. I understand that they are busy, but this is just getting ridiculous. However, please keep in mind that my mechanic had a family emergency and was unable to start work on my car as scheduled. I understand that this is probably a rare issue, but nevertheless, a month is a long time to live without a car.

Awesome shop! Color match was perfect which is especially difficult on athree stage pearl paint!!! Very helpful and curious staff, especially Taylor in the office.

Hammer is my choice for top quality workmanship, I dont even bother looking for anyone else because they have made perfect repairs on several of my vehicles. They matched my candy apple red on a partial paint job of my car so well, you cant tell five years later that it was ever painted!

The people at Carstar went above and beyond to satisfy me. They did a good job repairing my car and painting the repaired area. Then they did some extra things for free! They finished the job in a timely manner. It helped that they ordered parts in advance so they could get right to work when I brought in the car.I hope that nobody will hit my car again. But if it ever happens again, I will trust Carstar to repair it well.

I towed my car to Car Star for an estimate after an accident, front bumper, & some engine damage, after 2 -3 days I called them, to check about estimate, more damage to the car after towed at their shop; the driver side door was hit some how! the deny responsibilities, any way way, I got body estimate, but never got engine estimate, after waiting long time I decided to tow my car to another shop, they wanted to charge me for towing my vehicle to mechanic back & fort! even theyve never sent to any mechanic neither got any estimate for engine damage repair estimate.Ill never go that shop again neither recommended this shop to any one

I have used Hammer Auto rebuild a couple of times they have done a brilliant job on my car, they go out of there way to make sure you are satisfied.Their customer service is amazing and they treat you like you really matter.

I came in to Carstar a few weeks ago and asked about a repair to my Volvo. I told them I would be selling it, and they said that the repair probably wasnt worth it because Id never get the $ back from the repair.I bought a new car and was looking for someone to help me do some touch up on the damage instead, and went to them asking if I could pay to park it with them for a week while I was up in Canada and the guy who was going to do the touch up on my car would pick it up and drop it back off sometime during the week. They said no problem, no charge for the parking!What great customer service!
